This is a joint venture between Citizens Advice Woking (CAW) and i-access, the drug and alcohol community service which offers specialist assessment, support, and treatment to people in Surrey who want help with their drug and/or alcohol use. The role is fixed term to the end of March 2027, but it is hoped that it will continue, subject to funding.
We are looking for a highly motivated person to join our specialist team. It is essential that the applicant has recent experience of advising clients, at Citizens Advice or another comparable organisation.
You will need to demonstrate that you can cope with a demanding caseload and that you are able to monitor and manage your own caseload to meet deadlines. The successful candidate will be required to work with i-access service users, either remotely or in person, the role is to provide information, advice, and casework in all areas of generalist advice, but particularly in the areas of welfare benefits, debt, and housing. Patience and empathy are essential.
The i-access adviser will need to travel to the three i-access locations in Guildford, Redhill, and Chertsey as well as to CAW’s office in Woking. It's likely the role will also entail working remotely from home, which will require a confidential work space and reliable Wi-Fi.
We will require the successful candidate to be screened by the DBS. However, a criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to your being able to take up the job.

About the Role
Over the past two and a half years, the wellbeing provision at Freedom from Torture has evolved considerably through the adoption of a systemic, trauma-informed approach. This approach recognises wellbeing as a shared organisational and individual responsibility, taking into account the complex interplay of systems, relationships, and environmental factors that shape wellbeing.
The post holder will help lead on the development of all aspects of Freedom from Torture’s wellbeing strategy. It will range from advising senior leaders on organisational decisions impacting wellbeing, designing and recommending service delivery initiatives, creating training products and systematically evaluating the efficacy of the wellbeing approach.
Freedom from Torture’s external presence in the wellbeing sphere, amongst refugee sector organisations, is growing from strength to strength. The postholder will need to keep the momentum, sharing best practice across the sector.
About You
The successful candidate will have experience in leading wellbeing initiatives effectively, have a strong understanding of how wellbeing fits in with a Human Rights organisation and possess knowledge of what excellent wellbeing practice includes within organisations directly supporting traumatised individuals and families.
They will demonstrate confidence in driving organisation-wide engagement with wellbeing initiatives, fostering open dialogue on sensitive issues, and translating emerging research and best practice into meaningful action across a multidisciplinary environment.

About the role
As Crisis looks forward to the next decade, we have a clear vision of how homelessness can be prevented and ended in the UK. This will be achieved by securing the policy changes that will solve homelessness, by delivering services that end homelessness for people and places, and by building a community of people across Britain who are helping to end homelessness.
As Senior Partnerships and Practice Officer, you will support each of these areas. You will work alongside Crisis’ policy, communications, and campaigns teams in England, Scotland, and Wales, to further Crisis’ policy objectives and ambition through knowledge and practice examples.
You will support the development of Crisis’s own services across Skylight Centres informed by best practice identified internally and externally. This will include leading a Community of Practice within Crisis.
You will support communities across Britain that are helping to end homelessness, by building relationships with external organisations and supporting the development of tools and resources to enable them to end homelessness. For example, you will be directly involved in exciting projects like; developing a Built for Zero placed based approach in defined areas and supporting our charity partners such as Lloyds Banking Group on joint projects and to develop their approaches to preventing and ending homelessness too.
You’ll work alongside Crisis Homelessness Alliance signatories and other corporate partners supporting them to understand more about homelessness and how we can all play our part to prevent and end homelessness.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have great networking skills and be good at making relationships across a range of different sectors.
You’ll understand how local authorities and wider public bodies work and be able to build connections and rapport with individuals working there.
You’ll understand housing and homelessness systems and the current legal frameworks that underpin them across the UK. You’ll be able to identify barriers and themes and know how services can be designed to make sure that those who need help can get it and how to listen to the voices of those who use it.
You’ll be passionate about change and seeing homelessness prevented and ended, with a drive and energy to shape the role to do this.

Indian colleagues and volunteers deliver impactful education, health, protection and economic empowerment programmes - the ladder needed by those we seek to help to overcome the barriers they face. Working in large cities and in rural villages, with young children and new mums, with women who have experienced exploitation, and families facing discrimination and prejudice, we work to champion those society sidelines, including those from low caste and tribal backgrounds.
In the UK we raise awareness and raise support. As our Marketing and Communications Manager you will prepare our key messages and external communications. You will coordinate our content and prepare and oversee digital platforms. You will be pivotal to our public fundraising and provide an engaging and authentic window into the lives of those touched by DFN's work in India. We are looking for someone who will enjoy a role in which every day is different. There will be appropriate support but room for you to innovate and develop. With a hybrid role, you will enjoy a flexible working arrangement to suit your needs.
Your main duties will be:-
We are a small happy team with a big heart for the work and this is really important to us, as is our Christian motivation. If you work for DFN you will join a committed team who pray for our work and believe everyone is created in God's image. You will be the sole employee devoted to marketing and communications but will work closely with the CEO and colleagues.
The role is broad and we appreciate that you may not have all the skills we are looking for but if the work motivates you, our culture appeals and you have some sound experience please apply. We can supplement skills with training, outsourcing and volunteer support, as required. The role is part-time - between 15 to 23 hours per week. You will need to be able to travel to Stafford 3-4 times per year.

Charity People are delighted to be partnering with Zoe's Place to find their next Head of Fundraising. This is a pivotal moment in their growth, and they are looking for someone experienced and inspiring to lead their Coventry team with confidence, compassion and creativity.
Salary: £47,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the role
As Head of Fundraising, you'll lead a dedicated team and take ownership of income generation across the Coventry hospice. You'll shape and deliver fundraising strategy, develop sustainable income streams, build meaningful partnerships and ensure the organisation continues to thrive for the families who rely on its services.
This role offers a fantastic balance of strategic leadership and hands-on fundraising. One day you might be developing ambitious plans for future growth, the next meeting supporters, attending events, nurturing corporate partnerships or helping your team unlock new fundraising opportunities.
