The Role

We’ve achieved significant and sustained growth over the past three years, with a reputation for  delivering impactful and sustainable projects. We have a great story to tell and the Communications Manager role will play an important part of our future development.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and update the Just a Drop website, ensuring content is fresh, campaigns are current, and the site is continually developing

Write articles and updates for the website to keep content relevant and engaging

Develop and implement a thorough communications calendar, with cross-channel content designed to show our impact and attract new partners

Oversee social media channels and email communications, ensuring content aligns with the Just a Drop brand

Track and measure engagement and audience statistics across social media, the website, and email; identify trends and insights to inform the communications calendar

Produce a variety of films about Just a Drop and our work, including short reels to showcase impact, longer form films on specific programmes or partnerships, and other films for the website

Develop communications around our sustainability initiatives, particularly for website and film content

Manage the email Welcome Programme and donor communications, with a focus on regular giving and income generation

Support fundraising campaigns and website improvements, including Google Ads

Produce reports for funding partners and internal purposes, including quarterly and annual impact reporting

Provide ad hoc support to the fundraising and communications team as required

Delivery Manager (South) £42,500 pro rata

To lead the strategic development and delivery of WaterAid's public fundraising integrated campaigns and high-impact mass public campaigning activations. As a key strategic leader, this role is responsible for driving marketing activities that effectively build the WaterAid brand, generate vital income, and mobilise public support for our mission.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the strategic development of integrated campaigns, ensuring a balanced focus on fundraising income maximisation and mass public action/mobilisation.
• Provide direct line management to the Campaigns Project Manager and champion best practice in project governance and execution.

Requirements

To be successful, you will need:

• Strategic Marketing & Public Campaigning Expertise: Proven track record of developing and owning the strategy for large-scale integrated campaigns with explicit goals for both income generation and mass public action.
• Line Management & Delegation: Formal experience in line managing staff, including appraisals, performance management, and a proven ability to delegate effectively.
• Strategic Stakeholder Management: Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills to lead and gain buy-in from cross-functional teams in a matrix structure.
• Financial Governance: Proven ability to manage and be accountable for large activity budgets, overseeing planning, forecasting.

Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:

• Experience with Large-Scale Fundraising Campaigns with significant income targets and experience contributing to Brand Building and Management.

• Prior experience working in the Non-Profit or International Development Sector.

The Senior Videographer & Video Editor will lead the creation and management of engaging video content across multiple channels, including social media, fundraising campaigns, and branded content. 1. Shape and oversee the visual tone and identity of Muslim Aid’s video output.
2. Work closely with senior management, fundraising, and programme teams to identify stories, campaigns, and opportunities for impactful video.

Primary location of role

This is a remote role, and the candidate will need to be based in the Kent, Sussex, or Surrey area. Regular travel will be required to meet supporters and visit Asda stores in your region, as well as occasional travel to our London office.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Office of Development and Alumni Relations team at the University of Southampton, creating and delivering a range of strategic communications for our alumni and supporter community.  

You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering a whole plethora of communication tools to support our fundraising and engagement, with a particular focus on our upcoming Campaign for Southampton. Due to launch in 2027, this will be our biggest fundraising campaign ever, with a target of £100m. One of our key fundraising focusses will be the Institute for Medical Innovation; we will raise £50m to build this groundbreaking facility, which will address the world’s most pressing healthcare challenges through interdisciplinary research. You have the chance to make a real difference. 

We are looking for an experienced communications professional to support us with creating engaging communications. You will be responsible for activities such as: 

• Developing compelling propositions
• Delivering the communications to support major gift prospect fundraising events, from creating invitations and shaping the themes, through to developing event materials and briefing speakers 
• Creating and editing a wide range of communications pieces for our major gift prospect audience, from written case studies through to web content and video 
• Managing the development and execution of new creative for the Campaign for Southampton
• Sourcing new stories and gathering information through interviews and desk research
• Supporting the team where needed on both fundraising and alumni engagement communications

This is a part-time role, working four days a week (but will consider 3.5 days), on a fixed-term contract for 24 months. Like many organisations we’re currently working hybrid, with a minimum of two days per week in the office. There is the opportunity to work more days in the office as desired. About the Role

We are looking for a motivated major gifts fundraiser to join our small fundraising team to support our ambitious goal to raise £20 million in support of the Be the Spark campaign.

This role is perfect for a collaborative self-starter who wants to make an impact, working at all levels of the organisation to maximise the relationships that will enable the Ri to succeed. You will be used to managing a portfolio of donors or high value clients and be comfortable working with donors at the highest levels. 

You will collaborate across the Ri to develop innovative and compelling proposals, delivering excellent account management and stewardship to existing donors, and identifying, researching and cultivating new prospects.

Main responsibilities

• Proactive cultivation of potential major donors
• Identifying and researching donors and funding opportunities and building a strong pipeline for cultivation

Essential:

• Confidence in talking fluently about money in a professional environment

Desirable:

• Substantial demonstrable experience working in a fundraising position in the cultural or similar sector,

This is an exciting opportunity to join SPANA’s Income Generation department at a time of growth for the organisation.As Individual Giving Manager, you’ll play a key role in developing and delivering SPANA’s committed giving programme and multi-channel retention campaigns, including stewardship and value exchange activities.Working closely with the Head of Individual Giving, you’ll help shape strategic plans across UK and international markets, driving income growth to expand SPANA’s global impact. Contract, location and salary

The Strategic Communications Manager will shape and deliver the communications strategy for a landmark, mental health partnership. The partnership, funded by the Wellcome Trust, brings together over 20 leading mental health organisations in a coordinated effort to push mental health up the political agenda and drive transformational change in UK mental health care. The role will support the Influencing Partnership Strategic Lead, hosted at Rethink Mental Illness, and comms colleagues across the sector to deliver this.

Role purpose 

We are seeking an organised, data-driven, and creative Senior Individual Giving Officer to support the delivery of high-quality fundraising campaigns that inspire new and existing supporters to give. You will play a key role in developing excellent supporter and stewardship journeys that encourage repeat gifts and maximise supporter lifetime value.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging direct marketing campaigns across print, digital and email channels, with a particular focus on one-off appeals, regular donations, and incentivised giving products. 

Working closely with the Marketing & Campaigns Manager and Marketing & Communications Officer, you will develop audience-led supporter journeys, compelling fundraising copy, and test-and-learn approaches to build lasting supporter relationships and grow income for Southampton Hospitals Charity.  You will also support budgeting and performance reporting, analysing campaign results to inform and optimise future activity. 

Key tasks and responsibilities  

Campaign development and delivery 

• Work with the Campaigns & Marketing Manager to plan and deliver a calendar of direct marketing campaigns across print, email, and digital, focused on income generation and donor retention. 

• Work with the Marketing and Communications Officer to develop compelling, supporter-centred fundraising copy for appeals, donation forms, landing pages, emails, and stewardship content. 

• Coordinate campaign production, from creative briefing to print and fulfilment, working with suppliers, designers, and mailing house partners as needed. 

• Lead on campaign timelines and ensure activity is delivered on time and within budget. 

• Work with colleagues across the charity to gather impactful case studies and project updates for use in donor communications. 

• Manage and maintain campaign collateral such as templates, thank-you letters, and welcome packs, ensuring brand and message consistency. 

Supporter journeys & stewardship 

• Develop and implement supporter journeys for new and existing individual givers, ensuring timely and relevant follow-ups to donations. 

• Identify opportunities to improve retention and upgrade rates through targeted communications and segmentation.

• Ensure all donor touchpoints (e.g. donation forms, thank-you pages, emails) provide an excellent experience. 

• Collaborate with the Fundraising and Operation teams to ensure donor communications align with wider charity messaging. 

• Support fundraising campaigns with tailored communications for regular givers, lottery players, payroll givers, and one-off donors. 

• Provide outstanding donor stewardship to foster repeat support and promote additional giving opportunities, including legacy gifts. 

Data & insight 

• Work closely with Database & Insights Officer to segment data and analyse results to inform and feed into longer-term strategic plans to maximise donor lifetime value. 

• Regularly track and report on KPIs such as response rate, income, ROI, and donor retention.
