We have a vacancy for an innovative and enthusiastic fundraiser to join our Development team.
This is a pivotal role within the Development Office. The successful candidate will lead the College’s regular giving programme, increasing participation levels and raising funds through targeted direct mail and email appeals, telephone fundraising appeals, and online campaigns. The postholder will also develop the College’s range of fundraising literature as well as managing gift processing and reporting.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident fundraiser ready to take the next step in their career and make a significant contribution to the College’s goals by taking responsibility for further developing Merton’s fundraising programmes.

Merton is one of the oldest and most beautiful colleges in Oxford, tucked away behind the High Street, with glorious views across Christ Church Meadows but within easy reach of other University buildings and the city centre. Working hours
Weekly hours of work for a full-time post are 35 hours, normally between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday in the office with an unpaid lunch break. There is flexibility for the postholder to start earlier or later in order to travel to College and some home working may be possible in this role. However, the postholder will need to have a flexible approach to working hours in order to support some activities that are outside these times.

Job Purpose

The Brand Manager will play a crucial role in the planning, development and implementation of brand activity across the charity. The role is key to driving growth across brand, fundraising and engagement.
Working closely with the Senior Brand Manager and the wider Brand department, this role will put the Alzheimer’s Research UK brand at the heart of everything we do, business partnering across the organisation to embed the brand internally, maximise opportunities to amplify the brand, and drive brand consistency.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
· Work closely with the Senior Brand Manager to develop and deliver the organisation-wide brand strategy, driving engagement across the charity.
· Deliver brand campaign activity to ensure that campaigns are delivered efficiently and have maximum impact.
· Act as an internal brand consultant across the organisation, collaborating with teams to amplify the brand and maximise brand opportunities.

· Line manage a Brand Officer and support them in their development.

· Be a day-to-day contact for external agencies and freelancers where relevant.

Job Purpose
This role plays a key part in the delivery of Operation Smile UK’s retention programme, generating income and retaining existing cash and regular giving donors. The Giving Engagement Officer (Retention) will support the Giving Engagement Manager to implement multi-channel (mail, telemarketing, web and email) donor retention campaigns, ensuring timely delivery, creative accuracy, and effective stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities
Campaign Delivery & Coordination
· Deliver cultivation and retention campaigns, setting up and developing schedules in Asana and coordinating all required stakeholders.
· Manage timelines to ensure all activity is delivered on time and to plan.
· Compile campaign costs and track expenditure against budgets, flagging issues as they arise.
Creative, Data & Fulfilment Management
- Develop campaign briefs for creative, data output, print and fulfilment for review by internal teams and suppliers.
- Manage the creative sign-off process: collate feedback from stakeholders and ensure briefing accuracy to suppliers.
- Proof all campaign materials to maintain brand integrity and accuracy.
Digital & Email Communications
- Support the development of donor emails in line with agreed campaign structures.
- Coordinate the production and scheduling of email content in collaboration with the communications and data and tech team.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Compile campaign results for analysis and provide reports to inform future activity.
- Work closely with data teams to ensure appropriate segmentation and tracking.
Donor Stewardship
- Support the thank-you process, including personalising and developing donor thank-you cards as required.
- Contribute to improving supporter journeys and experiences through campaign touchpoints, especially for regular givers.

We’re looking for an experienced marketing manager with a passion for project management to oversee the development and delivery of our multi-channel marketing campaign, supported by our media agency.

About the role:
This role is responsible for the development and delivery of our multi-channel media campaign in collaboration with our media agency Zenith, the conception of our creative campaign and management of internal stakeholders to maximise promotional opportunities.
A typical week in this role might involve:
- Overseeing the delivery of project plan tasks across different stakeholders, to make sure everyone is meeting set KPIs and working to deadline
- Managing our relationship with the media agency, monitoring channel performance to make optimisations
- Working with creative agencies to brief and produce assets, using audience insights, that will inspire people to sign up for a Mighty Hike
- Managing expenditure budgets to ensure spend is tracking accurately against different media plans and suppliers
- Using data to report on performance and identify opportunities to drive growth and test new activations
- Leading on meetings with internal and external stakeholders to present the Mighty Hikes and inspire high levels of engagement and support
This role does require weekend work (although not at your desk) as you’ll be out and about cheering on our participants. A full UK driver’s license is preferred and a willingness to drive a van is a bonus. You will be compensated for your weekend work with days in lieu.

We are looking for an experienced marketing manager with a passion for project management, strong account management skills and a creative eye.
- Marketing skills: experience delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns across paid, owned and earned with a particular focus on digital channels

This role does require weekend work (although not at your desk) as you’ll be out and about cheering on our participants. A full UK driver’s license is preferred and a willingness to drive a van is a bonus. You will be compensated for your weekend work with days in lieu.

The Senior Social Media Manager will play a crucial role in leading Alzheimer's Research UK's social media function, driving supporter growth, brand awareness, engagement, and income; as well as significantly advancing our influencing and advocacy goals. Fundraising Officer - Community & Corporate
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (flexible hybrid working, compressed hours considered)
We are looking for someone who enjoys connecting with people and making things happen.
This is your chance to take the lead on growing our community and corporate fundraising, helping us reach more young people with vital mental health support.
At Be Free Campaign, we are youth-led, passionate, and not afraid to do things differently. We work across schools, universities, and community settings to challenge stigma, build understanding, and create fairer mental health support, especially for young people in racialised and marginalised communities.
What you will be doing
You will be our go-to person for:
- Community fundraising - inspiring schools, local groups, and communities to get behind our cause through events, creative campaigns and appeals.
- Corporate partnerships - building meaningful relationships with businesses, securing sponsorships, employee fundraising, and sharing our life-saving work!
Day-to-day, that might include:
- Reaching out to potential partners and supporters.
- Meeting with local businesses, schools and communities.
- Helping a school plan their first charity day.
- Preparing a proposal for a corporate partner.
- Celebrating the amazing things our supporters achieve.
About you:
You do not need to tick every box, but we want to hear from you if you:
- Have fundraising or income generation experience. (Essential)
- Enjoy meeting new people and building genuine relationships. (Essential)
- Are organised and can manage different projects at once.
- Can spot opportunities and turn ideas into action.
- Care about improving young people’s mental health.
What we offer:
£30,000–£32,000 depending on experience.
