Position Requirements:

• A minimum of five years of related work experience in major gifts fundraising or in the field of marketing and communications, preferably at a non-profit advocacy organisation.
• A proven track record of bringing in major donations of six-figure sums.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred.
• A practical understanding of fundraising, GDPR and charity regulation.
• Knowledge of and proven ability to develop and implement fundraising strategies.

Caseworker

Forces Employment Charity is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Caseworker to join our team working on the CFO (Co-financing Organisation) programme in partnership with the probation service. In this role, you will provide specialist support to veterans within the criminal justice system, focused on early intervention, support and diversion to prevent re-offending. You will work closely with probation staff, partner organisations and lead providers to identify, engage and deliver emotional and practical support to veteran clients.

This is a Full-time 35 hours per week, home based role with regular attendance at Lewisham and Croydon Activity Hubs and frequent travel throughout the UK. This role has a salary £29,000 pa.

We require someone with a strong skillset and at least two years’ experience working in a busy communications, public relations or marketing role. Although not essential, knowledge and understanding of homelessness and the charity sector would also be an advantage.

About the role

This is an exciting time to join Young Lives vs Cancer as we set up a new Brand Marketing and Communications function including a team of digital experts.

We are looking to recruit two Digital Marketing Officers to join the newly created Digital Engagement team working to deliver exceptional digital activity that delivers against organisational objectives. One successful candidate will lead on supporting social channels and the other on email marketing, however both roles will be expected to work across all digital channels and cover for each other as necessary.

You will work on digital campaigns across email, organic social and paid digital marketing channels, including PPC and social media. This role will be vital in setting up a new digital hub of expertise within the organisation and helping to drive forward the best use of digital channels.

Key responsibilities include:

• Work with stakeholder teams to develop digital marketing campaigns across paid, earned and owned channels delivering against KPI’s for income, campaigning and brand awareness.
• Work closely with colleagues creating content and landing pages on the website to optimise supporter journeys through digital channels
• Monitor the impact of marketing campaigns to report on key KPI’s and metrics. Using tools within social media platforms and Google analytics.
• Monitor and follow trends within digital and innovation in order to improve the organisation’s digital presence and activities

We are now seeking a Digital Communications Lead (maternity cover) who will develop and deliver our digital communications to build awareness, understanding and engagement with Rewilding Britain and our mission. Job purpose: 

To lead the development and delivery of Rewilding Britain's digital communications output, to inform, engage and activate audiences in support of our charitable aims.

Objectives of the role: 

Social media

• In line with our organisational objectives, lead on building our profile, reputation and engagement on social media with key audiences.

• Plan and deliver inspiring and effective social media content, including as part of engagement campaigns, fundraising appeals, and initiative launches, and in support of our partners and members. 

• Ensure that Rewilding Britain is using the best possible tools and techniques, by drawing on your own knowledge of the digital landscape and trends and staying up to date with changing trends.

• Guide colleagues across the organisation to capture and create social content in order to maximise opportunities to engage others with rewilding

• Take responsibility for monitoring social media and community building, ensuring prompt and accurate responses to social media enquiries. 

• Support with the development of social media and other digital policies and style guides. 
   

Email marketing

• Develop and deliver a schedule of email marketing for the organisation, including for fundraising and political engagement campaigns.

• Optimise email marketing by A/B testing content regularly to maximise performance and by making design and content improvements as the digital landscape evolves. 

• Use audience segmentation in support of campaigns, drawing on data from our CRM.
   

Website content & maintenance

• Work with the Content Manager and other team members to create new and updated web content in line with the Content Strategy, that is engaging, accurate and on-brand.

• Ensure web content is optimised for SEO and usability, advising and training staff on best practice.

• Contribute to team efforts to enhance the website as an engagement tool, including liaising with agencies where relevant. 

Other

• Track, monitor and report on digital activity to prove impact and maximise effectiveness. 

• Oversee/brief colleagues and freelancers, where relevant, to deliver discrete pieces of digital content for Rewilding Britain's channels.

• Contribute digital expertise to wider organisational projects and activities in support of our objectives.

Essential skills, experience and behaviours

Experience

• At least three years' experience in a digital management role in a comparable organisation, overseeing digital communications to further organisational objectives. 

• Proven experience in managing social media channels in a professional role.

• Experience in producing and optimising email marketing (ideally using Mailchimp).

• Experience in managing and optimising website content.

• Familiarity with Google Analytics and digital monitoring tools.

• In-depth experience and understanding of current social and digital communications tools, landscape and trends.

Skills

• Excellent writing, editing and communication skills.

• Skills in creative content developments, such as video and photo editing, ideally using Adobe Creative Suite. 

• Skilled digital planner, with a track record of inspiring and leading on digital.

Terms and conditions and staff benefits

This role is as maternity cover (9 months with possibility of extension).

This is a full time 5 day (35 hour) a week position, but we are open to a conversation with candidates who are seeking a role of 28-35 hours a week.

There will be some freedom for the person to determine their own working arrangements each week, within limitations, providing the work is delivered.

The salary is £35-40,000 f.t.e. per annum, dependent on skills and experience.

The Data Analyst: Geo-Spatial position will play a key role in the implementation of a new digital Information Management System (IMS) for the organisation’s monitoring and evaluation data. The system is in place and is in the process of being refined by a consultant. The new post-holder will have a handover with the consultant in order to take on the management of the IMS.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Behaviourist (Clinical Behaviour Services) to work on providing an internal referral service for behavioural medicine, recommending treatment protocols, monitoring patient progress, and assisting with more complex cases as required.

What does this role involve?

As Veterinary Behaviourist you’ll:

• Work with the Community Clinical Animal Behaviour and post-adoption support teams in devising the optimal behaviour rehabilitation strategy for dogs in their care while liaising with external veterinary practices as required to support the work of clinical teams.
• Support and advise staff across Dogs Trust on matters relating to psychoactive medication and links between disease, physiology and behavioural signs, under the direction of the Head of Clinical Behaviour Services.
• Provide behaviour consultations to owned dogs with behaviour problems especially those with a medical component that requires specialist input.
• Assist with staff training through workshops, clinical case reviews, mentorship and conferences.

About you:

With a good knowledge of dog behaviour, training and welfare you will have a veterinary qualification with postgraduate experience as a veterinary surgeon. Reporting to the Service Delivery Coach in the East of England, you will have the ability to support stroke survivors to identify their goals. Using strong assessment skills and a person-centred approach enabling them to maximise their recovery and improve communication.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Supporting new stroke survivors and their carers to adjust to life after stroke following hospital discharge into the community.

· Providing personalised information, advice and support.

· Enabling stroke survivors to make informed lifestyle changes which will help them to prevent further strokes.
