The role:
As one of two Grassroots Development Leads in the England Team in this role you’ll be responsible for supporting our grassroots grow and develop, ensuring the network is able to campaign effectively.

About the role
In order to reach and support more kinship carers with these programmes and our other services, we have developed a new Marketing Team to develop and deliver integrated, strategic and creative marketing and engagement campaigns and strategies. This team is now established with clear plans to engage kinship carer audiences, rooted in insights.
Strategic engagement with professionals from the education sector as a conduit to engage kinship carers in our services offer is a key part of this role, and a relatively new area of focus for Kinship. Delivering against a strategic plan already in place, you will be managing relationships and marketing approaches to Virtual Schools, select Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs) and other education professionals through umbrella bodies and associations to execute this.
Who we're looking for
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, senior-level marketeer or engagement professional with a strong track record in further developing and delivering successful multi-channel marketing strategies targeted at a range of audiences to join us as a Head of Marketing and Strategic Engagement to oversee this team. Experience in working in the education sector, or an engagement role would be advantageous.
We’re looking for someone excited to hit the ground running, able to plan strategically, deliver operationally and take creative approaches to maximising engagement and acquisition with a small in-house team. Drive forward cross-departmental work to further develop the organisation’s email marketing strategic approach.

You will report to the Head of Clinical Services, London and operate as an integral part of the London Clinical Services Team. This is an exciting chance to join us as we place survivor empowerment and movement building at the heart of our four year strategy, and work together to increase the number of clients who can access our services. It is based in a centre specifically designed to be a safe and welcoming environment for survivors and includes gardens and growing facilities.
About the role
This is a wide-ranging position, and your key areas of responsibility will include:
- To manage a multi-disciplinary team, including paid staff and volunteers from different professions and disciplines and provide professional and clinical supervision to qualified clinicians and trainees in the service including, clinical/counselling psychologists. This role may also include providing remote clinical supervision to clinicians in our other regional centres (North West England and Scotland).
- To ensure that Freedom from Torture's clinical model continues to be fully rolled out, with particular emphasis on survivor empowerment and evidence-based practice for addressing PTSD and other mental health impacts of torture.
- Championing people development as well as influence delivery of evidenced -based practice, clinical standards, quality initiatives and audit based services.
- To formulate and negotiate psychological treatment and management plans for referred clients and to provide psychological treatment for a small caseload, using a range of specialist psychological interventions appropriate to the service in line with the new clinical model "Pathways" (drawing on a range of evidence-based models for the presenting problems of the clients).
- Being an effective role model and leader to encourage, develop and enhance skills of others.
About you
This is an important role within Freedom from Torture. To be successful in this role you must have a high level of commitment to maintaining excellent standards of client care and service delivery. It is a key requirement that you must have knowledge of appropriate clinical standards and external regulatory bodies. You must also have sound financial awareness and experience of balancing the provision of quality care against budgetary parameters.
To be considered for this role you must be a Psychologist registered with HCPC and have qualified with a doctorate or equivalent in either clinical or counselling psychology. You must have professional experience of working with clients with complex PTSD and have post-qualification experience of using evidence-based trauma focused therapy models. It is essential that you have a clear understanding of the experience of refugees and people seeking asylum, both in terms of pre-flight experience and the experience of living in exile. You must have previous management and supervision experience and be able to provide demonstrable examples of how you have successfully led and influenced clinical teams within community or health care settings.

Role and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be joining at an incredibly exciting time at The Passage, with challenge events having grown in profile and prominence over the past 12-18 months - with an incredible 50 people signed up for the Hackney Half this year, it is the start of something exciting for the fundraising team.
The postholder will:
- Lead the delivery and development of The Passage's Challenge Events strategy, expanding the portfolio and growing net income.
- Research, test, and implement new events to diversify fundraising opportunities and attract new supporters.
- Provide tailored stewardship to individuals and groups, enhancing supporter journeys and retention.
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive corporate participation, deliver compelling marketing campaigns, and support volunteer-led fundraising.
- Oversee third-party relationships, ensure value for money, and manage event safety through robust risk assessments
- Produce and manage the Challenge Events income and expenditure annual plan and budget.
About You:

- Proven track record and knowledge in delivering third-party and bespoke challenge events, including participant recruitment and supporter stewardship.

- Skilled in planning and executing mass participation and third-party events, often in collaboration with external agencies.

The Policy Manager will play a vital role in managing specified areas of policy and influencing activity within the financial security workstream. With government having recently published a Green Paper with proposals to change the health and disability benefits system, and energy prices still high, now is a crucial time for people at the end of life and those around them.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing specified areas of Marie Curie's policy and influencing work, on issues related to the financial security of people at the end of life
- Analysing the policy landscape and developing evidence-based policy recommendations which are informed and where possible co-produced by people with lived experience
- Writing reports, briefings, consultation responses, blogs, and articles to translate research into accessible formats for a range of audiences
- Developing networks with policymakers, researchers, clinicians, practitioners, charities, and service providers on policy and research issues

The Scientific Research and Impact Manager role is at the heart of SongBird Survival’s mission, ensuring that their research not only advances scientific understanding but also influences policy change, engages stakeholders, and strengthens communications and fundraising strategies. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
