What will you do?
This is a pivotal moment to join JET as we build on fourteen years of impact and enter a new chapter in our journey. We have ambitious plans to expand our reach and influence, and we’re seeking someone who can help us strengthen our funding base and sharpen our message.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead and develop our fundraising team, shaping a cross-stream strategy and an integrated communications plan. You’ll be responsible for setting the strategic direction for fundraising, communications and events across the organisation. By doing so you will raise JET’s national profile, grow our supporter base and significantly increase income to support programme expansion.
You’ll bring strong experience across multiple fundraising streams, with a proven track record of securing significant multi-year funding and building lasting relationships with funders—both individuals and organisations. Alongside leading our fundraising efforts, you’ll take ownership of our brand, ensuring clarity and consistency in our messaging, helping partners tell our story, and securing positive media coverage.
You’ll lead the development of campaigns, fundraising and marketing activities, and digital engagement that not only enhance our national profile but also drive supporter engagement and income growth.
This is a home-based role, with travel required to and within the regions where we operate, including attendance at key events.

You will provide strategic leadership across fundraising, communications, marketing and events. Your work will be closely aligned with JET’s five-year strategy, enabling continued growth in funding and programme delivery.
You’ll bring a wealth of experience in leading fundraising and communications at a strategic level, with a strong understanding of the sector and a track record of securing and sustaining major gifts and partnerships. We’re looking for an innovative, passionate and professional individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to join the Stroke Recovery Service based in the Bury area.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following a stroke.
Position: S11325 Stroke Support Coordinator
Location: Home-based, Bury. However, regular travel will be required as part of this role (will include team meetings and other work-related meetings)
Hours: Part-time, 28 hours per week

The Role
The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes.

About the role
The Fundraising Lead (Corporate & Grants) will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of income generation for Planet Patrol, including the planning and delivery of our fundraising strategy; with a focus on corporates and grants. You will secure new partnerships and sponsorships, and develop high-value, multi-year commitments that align with both Planet Patrol’s priorities and our funders objectives. Whilst this role is fixed term, we hope to secure enough funding to make the role permanent.

Key Responsibilities
Fundraising & Relationship Building
- Meet and exceed the annual new funding target of £300k, whilst maintaining existing funding agreements.
- Secure sponsorship for at least three organisational priorities worth a minimum of £50k each.
- Write and submit innovative, engaging and impactful funding applications.
- Prospect new supporters and build long-term, high-value relationships.
- Quickly and efficiently respond to calls for proposals, maximising all opportunities..
- Work with colleagues across Planet Patrol to develop and deliver bespoke opportunities aligned with funder priorities.
- Host cultivation events and support other team members in engaging prospective sponsors.
- Ensure due diligence in line with Planet Patrol’s ethics and due diligence policies.
Strategic
- Lead on the development and delivery of Planet Patrol’s fundraising strategy, setting income targets and KPIs with the Director.
- Work closely with the Head of Programmes and Campaigns to develop exciting, innovative and impactful funding propositions.
- Contribute to the wider Organisational strategy and annual Business Plan.
- Keep abreast of sector developments and funding opportunities to ensure plans are timely and effective.
Account Management
- Maximise our existing portfolio of corporate supporters, ensuring timely delivery of benefits, publicity and events.
- Oversee reporting to funders, sponsors and partners, demonstrating impact and value.
- Manage budgets within the fundraising portfolio and contribute to organisational efficiency and effectiveness.
Marketing & Communications
- Create compelling and innovative partnership opportunities for corporate supporters.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver sponsorship benefits and ensure accurate representation of sponsors across Planet Patrol platforms.
- Coordinate sponsor advertising and communications, with support from colleagues.
- Positively represent Planet Patrol at events and conferences.
Role requirements:

At Rights & Security International, we are seeking a part-time Racial Justice Officer to support the growth of our racial justice work in the UK. We are a London-based international human rights organisation that works to end racism, Islamophobia and other abuses when governments act in the name of ‘security’ or ‘counter-terrorism’.

About the opportunity
As Trainee Accountant, you'll play an important role in delivering a high-performing, efficient financial accounting operation with partnership and improvement at its core. This is an operational and developmental role, offered with the opportunity of pursuing a formal Level 4 Professional Accounting Technician qualification through an 18-month apprenticeship programme.
You'll be part of our Finance & Assurance directorate, reporting to the Associate Accountant and working alongside our accounting assistants and trainees. Under the guidance of experienced Financial Accountants, you'll learn and deliver the fundamentals of effective accounting. From maintaining accurate financial records and supporting account reconciliations to assisting with audits and preparing financial reports, you'll gain broad experience across core accounting activities while building your technical knowledge and professional confidence.
Your potential qualification pathway
You'll have the opportunity to enrol on a fully funded Level 4 Professional Accounting Technician apprenticeship programme delivered by BPP and studied in allocated time alongside your day job. This 18-month programme offers pathway options including ACCA, AAT, CIMA, or ICAEW, leading to recognised professional diplomas. This programme is delivered through online live lectures, three-monthly coaching sessions and 24/7 access to learning materials via BPP's Virtual Learning Platform.
This is a role where your success is built on strong collaboration across multiple teams. About you:
