Founded in 2018, Sister System is a charitable organisation and an Open College Network (OCN)- approved centre dedicated to empowering girls and young women aged 13-24 affected by the care system. 

Our approach is co-designed with care-affected to ensure that their lived experiences continue drive meaningful change and shape our progression. Built on proven therapeutic models, our long-term mentoring, accredited qualifications, and leadership development programmes strengthen resilience, confidence, and essential life skills.

Our model seeks to break intergenerational cycles by equipping young women with the tools to thrive and lead change. Through a strong sense of community, peer networks, and trusted adult relationships, we create clear pathways into education, employment, and socio-economic stability, supporting a life free from abuse. 

Throughout her journey with Sister System, each girl participates in weekly one-to-one and group sessions focused on self-education and personal growth. These sessions explore the social and emotional transition to womanhood while building a supportive network of “sisters” who continue to empower one another during key life transitions. Our programmes are accessible to girls and young women at any stage of educational attainment, enabling all Sis-Stars to learn, grow, and thrive. 

Our strategy

We have been building our organisational resilience, the quality of our programmes and robust systems to collect data and measure our impact. We are looking for a new Director of Fundraising who can bring in income from multiple sources to support our sustainable growth. 

Director of Fundraising - role details

Responsibilities and Duties 

• Develop and implement a comprehensive multi-year fundraising strategy that encompasses diverse income streams, working collaboratively with senior leadership to coordinate efforts and maintain an up-to-date fundraising pipeline.

• Steward high-value relationships with trusts, foundations, and corporate partners while leading grant applications and proposals for six-figure funding opportunities.

• Strategically position Sister System for statutory funding by identifying government contract opportunities and ensuring the organisation remains competitive for local authority and national funding programmes.

• Oversee critical systems and processes including financial reporting, grant management cycles, board reporting, and line management duties while serving as an external ambassador for the organisation 

• Line manages a small fundraising team 

Essential Skills, knowledge, and behaviours: 

• Proven track record of developing and delivering successful fundraising strategies at a senior level. 

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding income targets across multiple income streams. 

• Experience managing multiple income streams, including statutory income, individual, corporate, and grant fundraising 

• Strong leadership and people management skills with experience developing high-performing teams 

• Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders 

• Financial acumen, including budgeting, reporting, and performance analysis

· Providing line management and support to the NCT Infant Feeding Peer Support staff and volunteer team within your region.

· Engage with underrepresented communities through networking with other local organisations.

· Managing peer support rotas for place-based community support within your region.

·  Responding to referrals and signposting to health professionals as and where required.

About the role

We now seek a Philanthropy Data Officer to play a vital role in helping deliver our transformational fundraising efforts. Your purpose

To manage and optimise Voice 21’s marketing activity across campaigns, data, and digital channels, ensuring a seamless experience from first engagement through to conversion. The Marketing Lead will be the technical lead on our HubSpot CRM, drive inbound activity, strengthen the buyer’s journey, and ensure our brand and messaging support long-term impact.

Your responsibilities

• Manage and optimise marketing campaigns, data, and workflows in HubSpot

• Build and maintain landing pages and web content aligned with campaign goals

• Partner with Sales to develop and execute data-informed marketing plans targeting schools across England

• Design and refine the buyer’s journey to maximise engagement and conversion from Lead to Opportunity

• Deliver marketing automation workflows and lead nurturing activity to improve pipeline conversion

• Produce and oversee high-quality, evidence-led digital content (emails, blogs, webinars, e-books)

• Collaborate with Communications, Events, and Engagement teams to strengthen reach and alignment

• Track and analyse funnel performance using HubSpot analytics and integrated data sources

• Maintain and improve HubSpot data integrity, segmentation, and reporting accuracy

Unfold is an established local charity, supporting young people and families in Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea to get where they want to be, identifying and achieving their goals through mentoring and peer support.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Programme Coordinator who is passionate about supporting young people and committed to social change.

In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll coordinate Unfold’s mentoring programmes, from recruiting, training, and supporting volunteer mentors to assessing and matching young people. You’ll also play a key role in delivering our weekly Youth Support Groups for young people seeking asylum, developing partnerships, and ensuring each mentoring journey is well-supported, safe, and impactful.

You’ll work closely with the Programme Manager and a small, dynamic team to help us deliver a quality, inclusive service that puts young people’s needs at the centre.

Finance & Resource Management inc

• Collaborate with the Head of Finance to ensure robust financial planning, budgeting, and reporting for operations

Service leadership inc

• The role currently includes management of the reception and admin team who support women as they come into the building and utilise the welcome space for activities as well as support the logistical running of the building

• Manage the charity’s facilities (offices, community spaces, etc.) and ensure safe working environments.

• Oversee health and safety compliance and business continuity planning. 

Leadership and Strategic Input

Contribute to organisational strategy and business planning.

• Work closely with other members of the senior leadership team to ensure alignment across contracts, teams and activity offers

• Build and maintain working partnerships with external organisations 

• Support and develop your team ensuring they are competent and empowered to undertake their roles and support you and the organisation deliver quality services

The role

In this role you will ensure the smooth and professional delivery of Camden Learning’s services by providing high-quality customer support, delivering accurate and engaging communications, managing website and mailing content, and coordinating meetings, training, and events. You will be a central point of contact for our stakeholders, support internal operations, and contribute to the organisation’s visibility and effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

Customer support

• The first point of contact for incoming phone calls and the customer service email address
• Answering queries and directing these on to the relevant team members as required; ensuring queries that are passed on are responded to in a timely fashion

Email bulletins

• Compile, proofread and publish key bulletins
• Support the maintenance of accurate contact details in all key contact lists

Website

Ensure website content is accurate and up to date:

• Undertake routine audits of website content with relevant colleagues to ensure it is up to date
• Make updates to website content as required
• Liaise with web design agency if more extensive website changes are required

Meetings, training and events

• Ensure that our online booking system for training courses is accurate and up to date
• Liaise with course leads to confirm training details
• Respond to and resolve queries from attendees and courses leaders
• Book venues for in person training courses, and set up online sessions in Zoom
• Distribute feedback from training courses to course leaders
• Support the organisation and smooth running of conferences, meetings and events. To include front of house duties such as greeting attendees, organising refreshments as required.

Communications

• Support the implementation of our social media strategy including gathering posts from relevant colleagues, proofreading, adding images and hashtags, and overall management of our LinkedIn page and presence.
• Support colleagues with the design, publication and dissemination of Camden Learning communications.

Other

• Liaise with schools, Camden council and other partners to ensure the smooth running of Camden Learning’s services and operations

• Work across multiple databases including Raiser’s Edge (Fundraising), FiveCRM (Telemarketing), Dot Digital (Email), and in-house solutions (SQL and SharePoint).
