Overview of the Regional Coordinator role and the team
The Regional Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing the mission of Barnabas Aid by building and nurturing relationships with churches, Christian organisations, and individuals. The role aims to raise awareness, prayer, and financial support for the persecuted church, fostering a network of engaged supporters and expanding the organisation’s outreach.

Emotional Health and Wellbeing services opening hours support the needs of the communities in which we work, and therefore there are elements of unsociable hours - this includes evenings, weekends, and bank holidays working shift patterns including alternating Saturdays.
The post holder will support Children, Young People, and Young Adults across our Emotional Health & Wellbeing services by offering low intensity support under a brief intervention framework.
The nature of the Emotional Health & Wellbeing services the ability to build relationships quickly, identify risks, and process further support is vital.
In order to be considered for this post you will have to demonstrate that you already have:
Skills
-Experience of management and supervision of staff and volunteers: (following the necessary training and support
-Computer literate and is able to navigate a data management system (after training is provided)
-Excellent verbal and written Communication skills, including telephone skills
-Able to develop good therapeutic relationships with all clients - Practicing in a non-judgement and anti-discriminatory manner
-Competencies in undertaking risk assessments within scope of practice
-Ability to evaluate and put in place the effect of training
-Experience of managing risk of a service and implementing and safe practice standards
-Experience in collating, understanding and challenging data sets with practice teams.
Work-based Knowledge
-Knowledge of anxiety and depression presentations in Primary Care and an understanding of evidence based interventions.
-Demonstrates knowledge of the issues surrounding socio- economic factors and mental health.
-Knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding legislation, policy and procedures and risks for children, young people and young adults aged 0-25.
-Able to demonstrate a knowledge of the issues that children, young people and young adults face when accessing mental health services.

Are you a client-focused, proactive and compassionate individual with a proven track record of working with vulnerable people who have multiple and complex needs? If so, Shelter has a highly rewarding and exciting opportunity - Intensive Floating Support Worker to join our team and play a central role in delivering our vital support projects.
About the role
You will work closely with the Housing First team, colleagues and accommodation providers, to place clients directly into homes in places they want to be. Then you will work with them to develop outcome-focused support plans that reflect their personal strengths and goals, to make sure that they can sustain their accommodation and thrive in their community.
Also you will coordinate support around your client and act as a key worker to help them sustain their accommodation and move forward with their lives. This will mean coordinating interventions provided by other agencies so that the right support is provided at the right time, to enable the service user to progress on their journey to recovery. Giving full advice on different issues such as homelessness and housing options, tenancy issues e.g. dampness and disrepair, welfare and housing benefits, debt and employment is also a key aspect of the role. You will need to visit clients in their homes or community locations which could be anywhere in Dorset.
About you
You will need a relevant background that includes experience of housing, homelessness and welfare benefits law and experience supporting people who are vulnerable and/or have multiple disadvantage. Through this you will have a good working knowledge of safeguarding frameworks. Proficiency using a range of IT tools to carry out your work, including Microsoft Office applications is important too. If you have experience of using case managements systems this is an advantage, but not essential. The role will need you to visit clients in their homes so you will need a valid driving licence and be willing to use your vehicle for work purposes - for which an essential car user allowance will be paid.

Working alongside the wider Weymouth Team - Intensive Floating Support and Reach Out drug and alcohol team, you will take a multi-agency approach working closely with other organisations such as housing, health and social care to get the best outcomes for our clients.

The newly formed High Value Operations & Stewardship team will sit in the High Value Partnerships (HVP) sub-directorate which is part of Shelter’s Income Generation directorate. - We would like to welcome applications from passionate and experienced Group Facilitators to join our Hertfordshire team to support our Dementia Support Group provision.
As part of the new Dementia Support contract in Hertfordshire, which started in October 2024, the Alzheimer’s Society has taken over the management and facilitation of dementia support group services across Hertfordshire. Currently we manage 22 centre-based activities groups (weekly) across Herts, in addition to another 4-5 online groups (carers and Young Onset specific). The groups are well established and a crucial means of support to service users and carers. We are in the process of reviewing our groups, this might result in us developing more new and varied groups (respite, specific communities or location specific) in the coming months.
As a group facilitator you will have many key functions, this will include managing and facilitating weekly activities based groups (could range from 2-4 groups per week), structuring a 12 week program for the groups you manage in consultation with service users and carers; managing volunteers that support your groups, working with local Dementia Advisers to provide 1-2-1 support for groups attendees and establishing relationships with local organisations for the purposes of facilitating signposted support for service users.
You will be joining a team of expert Group Facilitators and Dementia Advisers that are experienced and passionate about their work, and they will support you to undertake your role successfully.
About you
- Passionate about supporting people to maintain their independence, improve their sense of well-being, and help them take more control of their lives.

- Experience of supporting people within a group setting.
- Be creative in developing activities.

- Offer light touch support to group attendees and liaise with local Dementia Advisers to facilitate 1-2-1 support for group attendees/ carers (if required).
- Create new groups in consultation with service users and based on needs of the area (quadrant) where you will manage and facilitate groups.

We are excited to be recruiting for a Director of Supporter Engagement to join Mary’s Meals UK. Reporting the Executive Director and serving as an integral member of the UK leadership team, the Director of Supporter Engagement will lead, inspire and develop the Supporter Engagement function, balancing strategic leadership with a hands-on approach to fundraising.
MMUK is the largest and longest established National Affiliate in the Mary’s Meals network, currently raising c.£20M to support global school feeding programmes, reaching children living some of the world’s poorest countries. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Strategy and Leadership

- To manage a portfolio of donor, volunteer and prospect relationships, travelling regularly to attend meetings, and network to cultivate new prospects and funding opportunities.
- To support the team to develop professional and engaging fundraising materials including fundraising propositions, applications, proposals, appeals, pitches, presentations and reports.
- To oversee volunteer strategy, management and support to further empower our volunteers with a greater role in our shared vision and maximise their skills and networks.
Budgeting, Reporting and Compliance
- To set, monitor and deliver annual income and expenditure budgets, providing regular reports as required to the Executive Director, Leadership team, wider Mary’s Meals family, and our Board of Trustees.
- To feed into organisational strategic KPIs and team KPIs, and ensure a regular schedule of reporting, and insight gathering is in place to monitor activity and use insight to guide decision-making and drive growth.
People and culture
- To create a high performing team that is ambitious and passionate about the Mary’s Meals vision.
- To ensure teams receive consistent and motivating direction and feedback to enable them to work to the best of their ability.
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues across the charity at all levels, adopting and encouraging a collaborative working approach across the Mary’s Meals family. ROLE SUMMARY
The Student Administration Officer will work with the Associate facing Programmes team to support the successful delivery of the upReach programme, focused on the programme operations of onboarding new Associates.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
You will contribute to upReach's mission by working with our programme team to facilitate the onboarding of new Associates. You will be responsible for key processes and tasks on the Associate Tracking System, to enable upReach to deliver effectively and to meet objectives and key results (OKRs). These include:

Associate Tracking System: steward applicants through the pipeline; confirm student eligibility; answering applicant and Programme Coordinator queries; track and report on pipeline progress; help Programme Coordinators with reporting on programme application progress;

Ensuring our communications to applicants and prospective applicants are accurate and effective including email templates and call scripts;

Assisting the student attraction team to deliver effective campaigns promoting our programmes;

Assisting with other programme delivery activities as needed;

Researching process improvement projects as needed.

The role of Helpline Advisor
For several years, Guts UK have provided information, support and guidance to our community over the phone and by email. This year, we’re formalising that service into a professional Helpline and are looking for someone to join our small, talented support team.
During the initial 6-month trial period, the Helpline phone lines will be open Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm, but this may expand or change later in the year. Queries could be received via phone, email or web-query form.
As a member of the Helpline team, you will offer on demand information, support, guidance and signposting primarily to enquirers living with, or caring for those with, digestive conditions and symptoms. The support offered will include receiving calls, emails and web form queries from people who are looking for more information about their digestive condition, need to know where they can turn to for support, or are waiting on a diagnosis and need help navigating how to get there. You will provide appropriate information, guidance and signposting to our own information and other external support organisations. As a charity, Guts UK covers all digestive symptoms and conditions, across the whole of the UK, and so no two days will be the same and queries will be diverse and interesting.
The role holder will man the Helpline (alongside others from the team) from 10am to 2pm (with a 30-minute lunch break) and during that time will receive, respond to and appropriately log phone calls, web-queries and emails.
