About the position
The Vice President, Companion Animals, International provides strategic leadership for Humane World’s global Companion Animals Center of Expertise (COE), serving as the hub of subject-matter expertise and innovation for the organisation. You will drive the development of global strategies, ensure alignment with organisational priorities and scientific best practice, and support colleagues across country programmes to adapt strategies to local contexts for measurable impact.

This influential role partners closely with programmes, fundraising, advocacy, and external stakeholders to strengthen organisational visibility, secure resources, and scale effective solutions worldwide. It is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced leader who is passionate about strengthening outcomes for companion animals through systems-level change.

Key areas of responsibility: 
• Provide overall strategic direction and leadership of the Companion Animals COE and support country-level programme implementation
• Guide the creation and execution of campaigns, programmes, policy efforts, field projects, and publications
• Lead and support a high-performing international team including staff and consultants
• Build and maintain strong partnerships across sectors, representing Humane World within external coalitions and professional platforms
• Work closely with Advancement colleagues to translate programme achievements into compelling donor engagement and fundraising opportunities
• Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and financial accountability across the COE
• Establish and uphold high medical and programme standards, including development of metrics and impact systems
• Represent Humane World at conferences, with media and public audiences, strengthening global thought leadership
• Promote a positive and inclusive organisational culture across global teams

About you
You are a strategic and influential leader with:
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (advanced degree strongly preferred)
• At least 12 years’ experience in advocacy, operations, veterinary medicine, or a related field, including leadership of teams, strategy, and budget management
• Clear success accelerating impact through collaborative global partnerships
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• A strong commitment to improving the lives of animals globally

• Collaboration across Technology teams to maintain and enhance infrastructure in line with Association goals

• Develop and implement security and infrastructure best practices, including proactive patch management and cyber security compliance

About You:

• Extensive experience in infrastructure management or a similar role, with expertise in server and network management in hybrid environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP
• Confident working with Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, Entra ID, and Azure
• Experienced in managing virtual platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V
• Skilled in documenting systems and processes clearly and accurately
• Proven people management skills, with the ability to lead, support, and develop colleagues effectively
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability with a focus on delivering practical, secure, and reliable outcomes

What you’ll be doing: 

• Building strong relationships with supporters, volunteers, local businesses, and community groups across West/South-West England. 
• Supporting individuals, groups, and organisations to plan and deliver successful fundraising activities—offering guidance, encouragement, and celebrating their achievements. 
• Identifying new opportunities to grow income and engagement in your region, including partnerships with local trusts and businesses. 
• Ensuring excellent stewardship by providing consistent, friendly, and professional support throughout each fundraising journey. 
• Working collaboratively with internal teams to contribute to regional fundraising strategies and develop innovative approaches to community fundraising. 
• Representing the MS Society at local events and meetings, raising awareness and inspiring people to get involved. 
• Required to travel throughout the region which will include the geographical areas of  Shrewsbury and Telford, Hereford, Worcester, Cheltenham, Bristol, Swindon, Bath, Exeter, Plymouth and Bournemouth.  Regions can be amended to meet business needs.

• A confident communicator who enjoys meeting new people and building lasting relationships. 
• Someone proactive, organised, and motivated to achieve targets and outcomes. 
• Experience in fundraising is welcome—but not essential. If you’ve worked in sales, community outreach, or any role where you’ve inspired and supported others, we’d love to hear from you. 
• A full driving licence is essential, as you’ll be out and about in your region.

About the Role

As Supporter Development Manager, you will provide leadership to the Supporter Development side of the Individual Giving Team, successfully delivering supporter development activity in line with agreed annual targets and our Fundraising Strategy. Purpose of the role

At ZSL, we are working to restore wildlife and create a world where nature thrives. The Prospect Research Manager will be instrumental in identifying and unlocking the potential of these supporters.

This strategic role sits at the heart of our Development team, building and maintaining a data-led pipeline of high-impact donors to advance ZSL’s conservation science, fieldwork, and education. By leading on prospect research, philanthropic analysis, and network mapping, the postholder will help ensure ZSL’s fundraising efforts are focused, proactive, and aligned with our organisational priorities.

The Prospect Research Manager will play a key role in overseeing best practices in prospecting across the team. From crafting research tools to spotting new funding opportunities, this role will directly support the success of ZSL’s fundraising programmes and, ultimately, our mission to save wildlife around the world.

This is a part-time role, with the option of working either 2 days (15 hours) or 3 days (21.5 hours) per week which can be spread flexibly over 5 days. The role is a full time and fixed term contract for one year. 

The Cafes Manager will take full responsibility in leading and operating a successful cafes and catering operation, giving our student members an excellent service experience every day, looking to implement our cafes operation with new and innovative ideas led by the Head of Commercial Services. This role forms a key part of our Operations team, led by the Director of Operations. Comprising of both front facing and behind the scenes departments including; Cafés and Bars, Retail, Bloomsbury Fitness Gym, Human Resources, Facilities and Systems, the team delivers core functions and central services for the Union, as well as providing a diverse range of quality facilities accessible to our 55,000 members. The Operations team, and this role, are central to the successful delivery of our new strategic plan that will set us on the path to become one of the best students’ unions in the UK, and more importantly a better students’ union for our members.

Spoons is a charity dedicated to supporting families through neonatal care. Their sole aim is to facilitate a community where families who have experienced neonatal care, can come together and feel safe in sharing their experiences and supporting one another. The charity was founded in 2015 by Kirsten Mitchell, after she sought support from other parents she met on the neonatal unit. Spoons evolved from the acronym: Supporting Families of Oldham Neonates and over the past 10 years they have continued to grow and now support thousands of families across Greater Manchester.

With an inspirational history, and exciting future ahead, we are delighted to be partnering with this wonderful charity to find them a Fundraising Manager, someone to lead on income generation at this pivotal time.

The Role

The Fundraising Manager will lead on the delivery of a sustainable and diverse fundraising strategy. The main responsibilities will include:

• Developing and delivering a fundraising strategy and annual income plan.
• Growing sustainable income across all fundraising streams, predominantly Community, Individual Giving, Corporate partnerships and Events.
• Building, nurturing and stewarding supporter relationships.
• Overseeing and executing fundraising marketing and communications strategies.

The Person

We are looking for a self-motivated, ambitious individual with a proven track record of delivering fundraising income and a knowledge of a variety of income streams. You should also have an understanding of fundraising regulations, GDPR, and a keenness to keep abreast of fundraising best practice.

Additionally, you should be excellent at building relationships with a variety of stakeholders. You must be organised, driven and resilient, and able to multitask effectively in this varied and interesting role. We are also looking for candidates who are creative with the ability to write compelling communications including social content, campaigns and proposals.
