Our Surrey Volunteer Recruitment Manager (VRM) works closely with VRMs in Herts and London and our marketing team to promote the MCR programme to organisations and individuals. As a Specialist Respiratory Physiotherapist you will be part of a frontline team who make a real difference daily to those people living with a lung conditions. You will provide respiratory physiotherapy support to people living with a lung condition, as well as their relatives and carers. This involves communicating with service users through providing telephone support on an individual basis, and presenting educational sessions to attendees of our support groups.
You will have recent experience in respiratory care in a primary, secondary or tertiary setting with preferably pulmonary rehabilitation experience with strong IT skills. You will be organised, a good communicator and a dedicated team player. You will interact with colleagues at all levels across the organisation and have a great opportunity to develop your skills in Respiratory care.

The Head of Scotland and Northern Ireland is responsible for leading our vision to end the need for food banks in Scotland and Northern Ireland. Scotland currently leads the way in having a rights-based, progressive agenda to ending the need for food banks, but there is much to do to ensure political intentions become a reality. This role directs Trussell Trust’s policy and public affairs work in Scotland and Northern Ireland, leads our Scotland and Northern Ireland department as they support our network of food banks and works strategically with key partners to tackle the underlying reasons why people need to come to food banks.

Role responsibilities

Lead the delivery of the Trussell Trust strategy for ending the need for food banks in Scotland and Northern Ireland, working to embed the Changing Communities, Changing Minds and Changing Policy programmes across the network, including through providing strategic support for the effective delivery of the Pathfinder, FI and organising programmes in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
