The Supporter Services Team Leader will be responsible for promoting and delivering excellent supporter care to existing, potential and previous supporters of Battersea, developing relationships and maximising income for Battersea.
They will be a point of escalation for the supporter services team and will support and develop a team of volunteers. The role will lead on key fundraising products, proactively sharing information with stakeholders.

Objectives

• Provide first line of support to Supporter Services Administrators to ensure donations are processed promptly and efficiently and update the Income Generation database with accurate donation and supporter information
• Prepare and share weekly rota's allocating tasks per day for Supporter Services Administrators
• Ensure that volunteers, who assist the team to handle supporter enquiries, are appropriately recruited, trained and supported
• Decide the workload of the volunteers to get the maximum mutual benefit
• Take the lead on key products working with product owners to ensure the best supporter care
• Review and improve the volunteer team’s outputs for quality and accuracy, suggesting and implementing improvements as necessary
• Act within all relevant legislation and sector best practice, including PCI DSS compliance, the Data Protection Act, Gift Aid rules and regulations and the Institute of Fundraising and Fundraising Regulator codes of conduct

We are working in partnership with a Richard House Children’s Hospice to secure their new Corporate Fundraiser. Richard House helps children and their families in East London to lead as happy a life as possible when dealing with a life-limiting health condition. From the moment a child is diagnosed with a life-limiting, life-threatening or complex health condition everything changes. These changes affect the whole family, which is why Richard House feel it is vital not only to provide care to the child but to support the whole family. As a member of the fundraising team, you will directly support the charity’s work, as the majority of their services are funded thanks to the generosity of their supporters. 

The Corporate Fundraiser will be responsible for managing a portfolio of prospects and partners, ensuring a first-class cultivation and stewardship journey. Key responsibilities will include prospect research and new business development, compelling proposal and proposition creation, account management and event and campaign planning. The role will be hands on, focused on operational fundraising that delivers crucial short- and medium-term funding impact, as well as longer-term and sustainable corporate income for Richard House.

This role is offered on an interim basis, but with the option to become permanent.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

• Proven ability to deliver income and activity targets in corporate fundraising, with a strong knowledge of corporate fundraising techniques.
• A track record in fundraising with evidence of the successful stewardship of four-figure and above partnerships/gifts, ideally with some exposure to multi-year partnerships.
• Experience of building bespoke fundraising propositions for corporate partners.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Sustrans as an Individual Giving Officer developing and delivering our individual giving programme for regular giver, and cash donors.

An exciting and varied role, as the Individual Giving Officer, you will focus on the development of fundraising copy and creative, to thank donors, and to ask donors.This role will develop and deliver fundraising appeals, factoring in historic performance, testing and working with external agencies.  

 Regular travel expected to our hub/office based in Bristol, normally once a week.

About you

You’ll be excited by developing fundraising design and copy to thank, steward and ask donors to support Sustrans.

ABOUT THE ROLE 

The Women Transport Workers and Gender Equality Officer will play a fundamental role in leading and developing strategies on organising and increasing collective bargaining and leverage for women transport workers, on behalf of the ITF. 

At the direction of the General Secretary and Executive Board, the Women Transport Workers and Gender Equality Officer will be responsible for leading the ITF’s Gender and Equality Programme. The role will be focused on developing leading campaign strategies to organise women workers and increase the capacity of our affiliates in this area. It will strategically engage with ITF affiliates, donor organisations and other relevant stakeholders to deliver projects globally, which includes managing relationships with multinationals to improve the state of gender and equality matters across transport supply chains.

This role will have accountability for the management of relevant staff of the Women’s Department, as well as budgeting and planning for all development initiatives. 

ABOUT YOU 

The mission and values of the ITF are of utmost importance and as such, the successful candidate for this role must hold high ethical standards, displaying diligence and integrity when representing the organisation. 

We are looking for a purpose-driven individual with significant experience of effective leadership at a senior management level, including developing and leading on the successful implementation of key organisational strategies within a national or global trade union, or in a social movements context related to Gender and Equality. We are currently recruiting for a Research Manager to oversee the development of RoSPA’s research, ensuring that our policy work is driven by a robust evidence base.  As Research Manager you will be responsible developing, delivering, and leading RoSPA’s research programme. About the role

We are seeking an individual giving officer to support the development and delivery of our individual giving programme. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our fundraising team, helping to grow income and deepen engagement from our supporter base.

Key duties

• Assist in the planning and implementation of individual giving campaigns that deliver sustainable income growth and long-term donor engagement
• Manage supporter engagement and acquisition across multiple channels including social media, email, SMS, direct mail, and online campaigns
• Work closely with the fundraising, research, and communications teams to ensure successful delivery of individual giving activities
• Oversee data selection for campaigns to optimise return on investment and support testing; ensure data is managed securely and in line with GDPR
• Support reporting and forecasting of financial and non-financial performance across the individual giving programme
• Contribute to the development and launch of a mid-value donor fundraising programme
• Support donor journeys that build loyalty and increase lifetime value through a range of fundraising products

Skills and experience required

• Proven experience managing projects across direct marketing channels, including both digital and print
• Strong copywriting and creative writing skills
• Experience developing fundraising and marketing content based on audience insights
• Confident working with external agencies across creative, print, digital, and media
• Experience supporting the planning and budgeting of individual giving activity
• Familiarity with legacy marketing is desirable but not essential
