We have an exciting opening for a full time Community Fundraiser within our friendly and supportive Income Generation Team, based at our site in Farnham, Surrey. This energising role will see you supporting individuals and groups within our local community, to organise their own events and fundraise for our vital care. It’s a fun and varied role and no two weeks are the same.

You need to be someone who’s compassionate but can bring bags of energy to the position! One day you might be supporting someone to open their garden or hold an afternoon tea and the next you’ll be dressing up and joining the team to deliver our Reindeer Run’s at local schools. There’s also the space for you to think creatively and bring new fundraising ideas and campaigns to our community fundraising calendar.

We’re looking to appoint an enthusiastic and positive individual who is great at communicating and confident at building relationships. You’ll also need to have excellent presenting skills to motivate and inspire our supporters. About You

A successful Community Fundraiser will have:

• Experience of working within a fundraising team or relevant transferrable skills
• Be personable and friendly with strong communication skills to engage with a variety of audiences and ages, with presentation experience
• The ability to manage conflicting priorities and be adaptable to changing demands on your time
• Understanding of the locality of Phyllis Tuckwell and catchment area across West Surrey & North East Hampshire
• Experience of working with supporters/customers and/or volunteers
• The willingness to pull up your sleeves and join in as part of a busy team but have the ability to work independently
• Have a flexible approach to working hours as the role involves some evening and weekend working
• A full driving licence and their own car

As a Community Builder, you will be at the heart of our charity’s ambition to reach seldom-heard members of the Armed-forces Community (AFC) and engage them in creating positive action that strengthens wider connections.

About You  

You will be a highly motivated and dynamic individual who is passionate about collaboration and community-led change.  You will have experience of engaging and supporting people in a community, charity, education, social care, housing, youth work, or other people-focused role using a range of facilitation tools, techniques and Community Development skills. You will need experience of working in a community setting with a diverse range of people and interests. You will have good organisational skills, energy and the ability to listen, build relationships, and inspire collaboration, which will be essential in creating positive, lasting change.

We are looking for someone with:  

• A Community Development qualification and/or transferable Community Development skills and experience.

• A basic understanding of the Asset-Based Community Development approach (ABCD) is required however full support and development of this practice and our internal ways of working will be provided.    

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships that drive action.  

• A track record of successful collaboration with internal and external partners and stakeholders.  

• Effective and efficient organisational and IT skills. 

PLEASE NOTE:  

• The successful candidate will need to be based within a 30-minute commute of their allocated locality and there is a requirement to travel regularly across the wider area (travel expenses covered).  The successful candidate must possess a valid full UK driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle with business insurance for work purposes.  

• There will also be a requirement for occasional travel to other UK locations for meetings and events depending on the charity’s needs such as our annual all colleagues in person event.   

• The successful candidate will work 35 hours per week over 5 days, Monday - Sunday. Core working days will be Monday to Friday; however, flexibility is essential, as regular evening and weekend work will also be required to meet the needs of the role. Working hours will vary to ensure a total of 70 hours is covered over a two-week period, so please take this into consideration before applying.

The Role

Ensure that mid-level donors have the best possible experience of giving to the charity, by engaging with colleagues on the development of appeals to this audience, stewarding those giving at this level, and attracting new supporters
Work with the public fundraising team to thank mid-level donors to fundraising appeals, creating updates and reports, and providing an excellent supporter experience to maximise the opportunity for a longer-term relationship beyond specific appeals.
Support the fundraising activities of the wider philanthropy & campaigns team through identifying donors who may give major gifts or be interested in legacy giving.

The Candidate
Experience in fundraising and donor development delivering an excellent service on the phone, in person, and in written communications.

About the LATA Foundation

The LATA Foundation was established in 2007 by members of the Latin America Travel Association (LATA) to support social and conservation projects throughout Latin America. We are seeking maternity cover for the Fundraising & Volunteer Manager starting November/December 2025. About the role

The postholder will lead on fundraising including income generation, strengthen donor stewardship and communications, and coordinate the effective contribution of our volunteer network. About You

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, the postholder will work closely with the Individual Giving Manager and other fundraising team members to identify major donor prospects, ensuring thorough research and engagement to cultivate relationships and solicit major gifts. The role will also involve interacting with senior church contacts such as Archbishops and diocesan representatives who have a history of support, so whilst the charity is non-religious and non-political, sensitivity within this jurisdiction will be required.

Hours: 21 hours per week over 3 days

Location: Home-Based with frequent travel to supporter locations and occasional travel to Head Office (Leamington Spa)

DPP is recruiting a Fundraising Manager to lead on major donor and regular giving, as well as organise events. This is a new role within our team and would be well-suited to a fundraiser that is looking for a new challenge and to bring their experience and ideas to a small, passionate team.

The King’s Trust is looking for a passionate and highly skilled Communications Manager to join our talented Communications team as we prepare to celebrate our 50th anniversary in 2026.

In this fixed-term role, you will play a key part in delivering The Trust’s external communications activity during our anniversary year. By helping The Trust to maximise this milestone moment, the work you do will help to boost our public profile, reach new supporters, and thank our communities meaningfully – ultimately increasing engagement with and support for our work.

You will lead communications projects for our anniversary by developing bespoke activations and messaging, always ensuring the stories of Trust-supported young people are at the heart of everything we do.

You will empower young people who have been through our programmes to tell their stories across a range of different media and digital channels. As part of this, you will support the Senior Communications Manager in working with our Young Ambassadors, who are young people who volunteer to share their experiences of being supported by The Trust with our audiences.

In this unique role within the Communications team, you will be instrumental in shining a light on how we support young people to change their lives for the better, ultimately engaging more people in The Trust’s work during our 50th year and increasing support for young people.

Coeliac UK is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Head of Philanthropy to lead the growth of high-value income streams and help secure the charity’s long-term financial sustainability. Reporting to the Chief Engagement Officer, this pivotal role will focus on cultivating and stewarding transformational relationships with major donors, trusts and foundations, legacies, and strategic corporate partners. About You:

• Strong leadership experience and a proven track record of developing and motivating teams.
• Excellent communication, bid-writing, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrable experience using CRM systems and data insights to inform strategy and track performance.

Pause works to improve the lives of women who have had – or are at risk of having – more than one child removed from their care, and the services and systems that affect them. We want to make sure that women who experience or are at risk of the removal of children into care are given the best possible support so that it never happens more than once.

Through an intense programme of support, it aims to break this cycle and give women the opportunity to reflect, tackle destructive patterns of behaviour and to develop new skills and responses that can help them create a more positive future. In doing so, we aim to prevent the damaging consequences of thousands more children being taken into care. 

We’re looking for an experienced practitioner who will work directly with women across South Gloucestershire, as part of the North Somerset/South Gloucestershire Pause team. To succeed in this role, you will bring passion, resilience, and professional insight to support women working with Pause to make the changes that they choose that make a difference in their lives.

As a Pause Practitioner, you will be responsible for implementing a range of interventions and support measures as part of an integrated package of health, therapeutic and social support. Pause is specifically designed to address the complex needs of women, through intensive support, to enable change in their lives, and ultimately reduce the numbers of children being removed into care. You will work systemically in delivering a relationship-based programme where frequency, tenacity and creativity are central.
