About this role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our small finance team as Finance Officer. This is a key role that will report to our Finance Manager and work closely with colleagues across the organisation so that our financial processes run smoothly and accurately.
We’re an international charity, so we work in multiple currencies. Key responsibilities in this role are liaising with domestic and overseas offices, suppliers, banks and partners. Please see the job description for full details, including responsibilites and a person specification.
Contract, location and salary
This is a permanent, full-time (34.5 hours per week) role. This is a UK based position, and applicants must have the right to work in the UK currently and for the duration of the contract.
The salary for this role is circa £34,000 per annum. We also offer benefits including a generous company pension scheme, and healthcare cashplan.

Duties and key responsibilities
Database Administration (Raiser’s Edge NXT)
- Manage, maintain and optimise constituent and gift data on Raiser’s Edge NXT to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support the Database Officer with processing incoming donations from online giving platforms including JustGiving and Fundraise Up to ensure accurate integration and reconciliation.
- Support the Database Officer with monthly reconciliations between Raiser’s Edge NXT and the income spreadsheet.
- Work with the Database Manager to develop and manage Omatic Cloud automated processes for importing constituent and gift data from external fundraising platforms.
- Support the Database Manager in designing and monitoring database KPIs.
- Lead data cleansing and housekeeping projects including data retention, consent and Gift Aid reviews identifying areas for improvement and implementation of best practice in collaboration with the Database Manager and Database Officer.
- Support fundraising stewardship through event management, automated workflows and mailing list coordination.
- Process and record Gift Aid declarations in accordance with HMRC guidelines.
- Maintain high standards of data quality, GDPR compliance and robust data controls.
- Administer user access and database security settings in line with internal policies and GDPR.
Data Reporting and Insights
- Build sophisticated donor segmentation, pipelines and automated journeys to improve donor retention and engagement.
- Deliver tailored reports, interactive dashboards and insights to support strategic decision-making.
Staff Training and Support
- Provide tailored team training, knowledge-sharing sessions, and guidance materials to help colleagues make the best use of Raiser’s Edge NXT.

Cross Function Collaboration
- Work closely with the Database Officer to align on day-to-day data processing and support.

Working closely with the Director of Fundraising and alongside the Strategic Partnerships and Trusts teams, you will be responsible for setting clear plans, developing effective fundraising approaches, and ensuring strong systems, processes and supporter experiences are in place to drive sustainable income growth.
You will lead the delivery and development of community fundraising, challenge events, individual giving through community activity, and in-memory fundraising. A key part of the role will be developing a clear and engaging events and fundraising volunteer offer, including an effective induction process that enables volunteers to fundraise confidently on behalf of Bipolar UK.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic leadership and planning

2. Community and events fundraising delivery
- Lead the planning, delivery and growth of a portfolio of community fundraising initiatives and challenge events, both in person and online.

- Identify and develop new fundraising opportunities that align with Bipolar UK’s mission, values and supporter base.

4. Digital campaigns and income growth
- Lead on the planning and delivery of digital-led community and events fundraising campaigns.
- Work collaboratively with Marketing and Communications colleagues to develop supporter journeys, content and communications that drive engagement and income.
- Develop approaches to grow connected income streams, including regular giving and in-memory giving, through community and digital activity.
- Monitor performance, assess impact and report clearly on outcomes and learning.
5. Supporter experience and stewardship
- Ensure supporters are stewarded with care, empathy and professionalism, recognising the personal connection many have to bipolar.
- Oversee thanking, updating and re-engagement activity to build long-term supporter relationships.

- Line-manage and support the Fundraising Officer and Supporter Engagement Assistant, providing clear direction, coaching and development.

Essential Criteria
- Significant experience managing community and/or events fundraising, with a track record of achieving income and engagement targets.

Job Title: Development Manager

Job Summary
The Development Manager will be a dynamic and experienced fundraiser with strong technical skills in grant and funding solicitation, management and stewardship across Crisis Action’s current donor targets including major foundations, governments, and High Net Wealth Individuals (HNWI). They will serve as the anchor of a newly configured fundraising team designed to support Crisis Action to nurture its existing donors and secure the next generation of support for its ground-breaking work.
This role is pivotal in ensuring excellence in our outreach, proposals, reporting and communication to drive resource mobilisation that is essential for the organisation’s financial sustainability at a time when our distinct model and way of working is needed more than ever.
Principal responsibilities
Donor engagement and communications
- Oversee and coordinate day-to-day engagement with current and prospective foundation, government and individual donors by members of the Crisis Action team
- Represent the organisation vis-à-vis donor representatives
- Support HNWI donor benefits structure and cultivation plans
- Prepare compelling and timely donor reports, donor updates, letters of receipt and other outreach materials in collaboration with finance and campaign teams.
Grant management and oversight
- Ensuring timely and skilled drafting, consultation and sign off of high-quality grant proposals
- Timely acknowledgement of all contributions and compliance with donor requirements
- Preparation of high-quality proposal budgets and financial reports for donors in compliance with grant specifications and deadlines, in close cooperation with the Finance Team
- Review all grant agreements and monitor/ensure the organization's adherence to its contractual commitments.
Strategic vision and guidance:

Research and intelligence:
- Carry out donor research and provide strategic insights and donor related updates and background information to relevant colleagues.

Job Specifications
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in fundraising, donor relations, or development within the non-profit or international advocacy sector
- A proven track record of engaging with foundations and government officials to secure and manage grants
- Demonstrated ability to forge new donor partnerships, and a track record of bringing in new revenue
- Strong understanding of government and foundation funding landscapes with at least some familiarity with differences between them and the stewardship of major gifts from individual giving
- Experience in drafting compelling fundraising proposals, reports and donor updates for a variety of donors – foundations, governments and individuals

Salary & Benefits
Salary: We have set bands for the salary range for all positions at Crisis Action. The baseline of our salary range for this position is £40K per annum.
Benefits: 25 annual leave days (30 days after 3 years). Up to 6% contribution to pension. 3-month long service leave after 6 years and one-month sabbatical leave in year 10. CA additionally offers an annual inflationary increase, and 2% salary increase in year 2, 4 and 8 subject to availability of funds.

The Marketing and Communications Manager plays a key role in raising awareness of hygiene poverty and inspiring individuals and corporate partners to act in support of The Hygiene Bank’s mission. This role leads our communications strategy, creates compelling content, manages digital channels, secures regional and national media coverage for the charity, and supports national campaigns and events. You will have the opportunity to work with our exciting portfolio of corporate and brand partners, co-designing joint campaigns and initiatives, and positioning our communications to generate further support and income.You will also play an important role in our End Hygiene Poverty research and campaign partnership with the charity In Kind Direct.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Communications Plan and Implementation

Develop and implement the annual communications and marketing plan in collaboration with senior leadership.

2. Digital Strategy and Implementation

As Communications Officer, you’ll help tell the stories of the UK’s national parks in engaging, creative and accessible ways. This is a varied role combining digital content creation with the smooth running of the organisation's digital platforms. Working closely with the Director of Communications & Brand, you’ll help bring a new national brand to life, shifting perceptions of national parks from “beautiful and passive” to “dynamic, active and people-powered”. You’ll create content for social media, websites and newsletters, support national campaigns, and work closely with communications teams across the Parks to ensure consistent, high-quality storytelling.
The ideal candidate will be experienced at creating engaging digital content, including written, visual and video content to build and nurture online communities. A full UK driving license is required as some travel to the national park sites will be required.

KSAAS (formerly East Kent Rape Crisis Centre) has offered sexual violence services in East Kent since 1993 and we offer ongoing practical support and therapeutic services for survivors who have experienced any form of sexual violence at any time in their lives of in Kent & Medway . KSAAS holds UKAS accreditation through The Survivors Trust and is Professionally Approved By Rape Crisis England & Wales, demonstrating the consistent, high-quality services that we offer to our survivors.
KSAAS operates Independent Sexual Violence Advisors (ISVA) services and joint ISVA and Independent Domestic Violence Advisors (IDVA) services for those experiencing sexual violence alongside domestic abuse. We also offer trauma focused therapeutic counselling services for children, adolescents and adults and these services are accessible through various hubs across Kent & Medway. Peer support groups and family advocacy services are available to support families when there has been an occurrence of sexual abuse experienced by one or more family members and our services are supported and informed by the ‘Kick Back’ group, who are survivors of sexual violence who offer help, support and advice to other survivors and inform our service development. We also have a range of volunteers who support us with various aspects of the service provision.
In addition to providing support and therapeutic services, a key function of the organisation is to robustly challenge the societal values, beliefs and behaviour which contribute to sexual violence, through proactive projects that aim to raise awareness, delivery of information sessions in educational institutions, delivery of NOCN accredited Rape and Sexual Abuse training, ongoing activism, challenging attitudes we encounter as part of our work with survivors, focused campaigns and participation in research focused on sexual violence.
In the last year, we worked with > 6000 survivors in our face-to-face services and specialist sexual violence Helpline service and in April 2026 we extended our provision and scope and have been commissioned to be the main provider of ISVA and Therapeutic Support services across Kent & Medway, funded by the Police & Crime Commissioner.
We are looking for an inspiring, motivated and innovative woman who is driven by feminist values to be the figurehead of our organisation, providing empowering leadership to the team, strategic oversight of the organisation and to ensure an outstanding service for all survivors of sexual violence. Strategic Leadership

Role Overview:
The Talent Set are delighted to partner with their client on a fantastic Senior Internal Communications Officer role. The successful candidate will play a vital part in engaging colleagues across the organisation by delivering strategic, high-quality internal communications that support organisational goals and foster a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing the Internal Communications Strategic Plan, advising stakeholders on internal communication approaches to boost engagement.
- Maintain an understanding of organisational priorities to develop cohesive messages and enhance the colleague experience.
- Lead the planning and delivery of internal campaigns, events, and programmes, both virtual and face-to-face.
- Cultivate strong stakeholder relationships, working collaboratively to produce high-quality, strategic communication content.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure internal messaging aligns with external communications.
- Deputise for the Internal Communications Manager when required.
- Develop and deliver engaging content, including newsletters and messaging for managers.
- Organise and support a range of internal events, such as leadership conferences.
- Respond to internal communications queries promptly and professionally.
Person Specification:
- Proven experience in internal or external communications within large, diverse organisations.
- Skilled in content creation for intranets, websites, and digital platforms.
- Excellent written communication and editing skills.
- Ability to develop and implement creative, audience-focused communication strategies.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including working with senior leaders.
- Experience in planning and delivering events, both online and in person.
- Adept at using digital tools to produce engaging content.
- Organised, attentive to detail, and capable of managing multiple priorities to deadlines.
- Discreet in handling sensitive information.
- Ability to work flexibly, including hybrid working and occasional travel.
What’s on Offer:
- Salary: £38,000 – £40,000
