About the role
We are hiring in our Grants team which is part of the wider Development Department at ClientEarth. This department is responsible for raising and managing funds to enable the organisation to deliver its mission using the power of the law to bring about systemic change that protects the earth for, and with its inhabitants. As Grants Officer you will work in our Grants Team to manage a portfolio of grants that fund our organisation’s work, with a focus on managing a portfolio of grants from trusts, foundations, and other statutory and institutional funders.
Meet your Manager
In this role, you will be managed by Emma Franklin. Emma is a Grants Manager at ClientEarth, where she oversees a dynamic portfolio of grants related to supporting the Resources, Energy and Mobility system of legal work across Europe and Asia. Emma has worked in grant management and philanthropy roles since 2017 at several major environmental not-for-profits. She’s extremely passionate about climate and environmental issues, and believes deeply in ClientEarth’s mission – using the lasting power of the law to protect our fragile planet. Emma moved to London in May 2024, hailing originally from her hometown of Sydney, Australia.
Main Duties
- Manage a portfolio of grants, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and timelines
- Coordinate key grant management processes including: Go/No-Go, due diligence, funding agreement review, grant kick off and grant management meetings, narrative and financial reporting and renewals.
- Deliver compelling, impactful and timely proposals and reports, and broker the relationship between programmes and the funder
- Maintain excellent relationships with funders through timely communications in relation to the work they support
- Effectively manage reporting and the grant renewal process from start to completion - including working with multiple teams across ClientEarth’s International offices to ensure input from all relevant stakeholders, to complete proposals and reports in a timely and high-quality manner

ABOUT SAFETY4SISTERS
Safety4Sisters (S4S) is a specialist Black and minoritised by and for women’s organisation based in Manchester. Our aim is to promote the human rights of migrant women experiencing a spectrum of gendered violence by providing a trauma informed, specialist, holistic and integrative programme of support to Black and minoritised survivors with NRPF. Support is underpinned by the following strands of services and activities; culturally competent advocacy, welfare and destitution support, a specialist refuge dedicated to migrant women with NRPF, therapeutic activities, groups and training, social activities, a helpline for both professionals and women, grassroots campaigning, and strategic advocacy.
JOB PURPOSE
To support the development and delivery of Safety4Sisters’ policy, campaigning, and influencing work to advance the rights, safety, and wellbeing of Black, minoritised and migrant women and children experiencing violence against women and girls (VAWG).
The post holder will contribute to influencing local, regional, and national policy and decision-making on VAWG, honour-based abuse, harmful practices, immigration and asylum policy, and no recourse to public funds (NRPF). This work will be rooted in survivor voice, frontline practice, and Safety4Sisters’ feminist and anti-racist values.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1.To contribute to the planning and delivery of Safety4Sisters’ policy, campaigning, and influencing work in line with the organisation’s strategic priorities.
2.To undertake policy research and analysis on issues affecting Black, minoritised and migrant women experiencing VAWG, including immigration, asylum, and NRPF.
3.To draft policy briefings, consultation responses, reports, statements, and other written submissions to influence decision-makers and statutory bodies.
4.To work closely with frontline staff, partners, and where appropriate victim-survivors, to ensure that policy and campaigning work is informed by lived experience and practice-based evidence.
5.To support parliamentary, local authority, and regional influencing activity, including engagement with MPs, councillors, civil servants, and statutory agencies.
6.To assist in organising and delivering policy events, roundtables, seminars, conferences, and briefings for external stakeholders.
7.To represent Safety4Sisters at external meetings, networks, events, and forums as required, promoting the organisation’s policy positions and values.
8.To contribute to raising public and professional awareness of VAWG, honour-based abuse, and the specific barriers faced by migrant women, including institutional racism and hostile immigration policies.
9.To manage Safety4Sisters’ social media platforms, ensuring content supports the organisation’s policy, campaigning and advocacy work and reflects S4S values and safeguarding principles.
10. To support Safety4Sisters’ partners and stakeholders to engage with policy advocacy, communications, and campaigning activity, including providing guidance and resources where appropriate.
11. To contribute to training, learning, and community engagement activities delivered by Safety4Sisters, including sessions for professionals and community organisations.
12. To maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, policy developments, research, and sector best practice.
13. To contribute to monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning activities, ensuring accurate records and data collection for policy and campaigning work.
14. To assist in developing strong links with key partners and networks at local, regional, and national levels to strengthen Safety4Sisters’ influencing work.

About the role:
As the Bid Officer, you will support statutory and non-statutory funding across Advance’s services, with oversight by the Development Manager and support from the Development and Fundraising Co-ordinator. They will also provide assistance to the Head of Fundraising. The role will ensure a high standard of professional bids are created, showing strong attention to detail, an ability to work under pressure and to demanding deadlines.
You will plan and produce compliant proposal documents, bringing together expertise, best practice, research and data to develop compelling tender responses. Your role will be responsible for shaping service delivery models in collaboration with internal subject matter experts, bid writing and editing, coordinating the final document review and document governance.
Please note: In this role we are always exploring new technology and tools to support better ways of working, however the sector we work in means that we are often required to submit bids that are written without AI involvement. We need someone with great writing skills in this role and will be testing this with an in-person assessment as part of our recruitment process.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Head of Community Sponsorship Role
This is a rare opportunity to lead Citizens UK’s community sponsorship campaign and help build the movement that will be at the heart of a community-led welcome.
This new role comes at an exciting and crucial time, as we seek to build and embed this new form of named community sponsorship in the UK. As Head of Community Sponsorship you will lead on our strategy to develop named sponsorship as a transformative part of the UK’s approach to refugee resettlement and community power. This will involve building a broad-base of civil society partners ready to sponsor refugees and to add their voice to the campaign. You will lead on the campaigning and advocacy strategy as we ensure quality in the Government policy and cross-Party political support. Citizens UK acts as the Lead Sponsor for local community sponsorship groups and you will oversee their ongoing support and further engagement.
The role foster collaboration with Citizens UK Organisers and alliances, develop sustainable funding strategies, and ensure alignment with Citizens UK’s broader migration and transformation goals. The role will work alongside Citizens UK’s Migrant and Refugee Organising Team and will contribute to the efforts to build the power to create a more welcoming country. You will lead on relationships with senior stakeholders, policy makers, and funders, and support the creation of campaigns and resources to expand public awareness and support for community sponsorship. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that generates a significant proportion of our income. You’ll play a key role in planning and delivering legacy marketing campaigns across multiple channels, working closely with colleagues and external partners to engage supporters and grow pledges.

As the Project Officer, you will support schools across East Lothian to increase active travel, such as walking, wheeling and cycling. Your work will help pupils, staff and local communities travel in healthier and more sustainable ways.
In this role, you will plan and deliver a range of activities, events and lessons. These activities are designed to encourage people to choose active travel when going to school or work. You will spend time working with teachers, parents, pupils and community members to make these activities successful.
You will also work closely with Walk Wheel Cycle Trust Volunteers. About the role
Do you live in Cardiff or the surrounding area?
As a senior community fundraiser, you’ll be an important part of the team building Breast Cancer Now’s presence in Wales, with a particular focus on South Wales.
We’re looking for someone who is an experienced relationship builder, someone who can find and develop new supporters. You’ll need excellent local knowledge, and the enthusiasm to develop the local region.
The successful candidate will also be part of the team working on our large-scale project supporting and growing Asda Tickled Pink, our award-winning partnership with Asda and CoppaFeel! which has already raised over £100 million.
You’ll work directly with passionate colleagues across Asda stores in your region driving new fundraising initiatives, inspiring communities, and celebrating their incredible successes.
No 2 days will look the same as you travel, connect and engage supporters to help us grow income to deliver our mission.
The role is initially offered as an 18-month contract with the potential to become permanent.
About you
We’re looking for someone who is:
Confident in approaching new contacts and are experienced in developing new relationships from scratch. This may currently be in a customer service, account management or a stewardship role.
Experienced in managing and building new and established relationships with a focus on retention and income growth.
Enthusiastic, proactive, organised and unafraid to test and try new ideas.
This role will involve being out and about in the community you’re building, so you must be able to work independently outside of the office in varying locations and enjoy being busy.
Previous experience working in a charity is not required. The ability to speak Welsh would be desirable.

Primary location of role
The candidate will need to be based in Cardiff or the surrounding area with unlimited access to their own car. Regular travel will be required to meet supporters and visit Asda stores in your region, as well as occasional travel to our London, office.

Hours per week: 35 hours per week to be worked during our office hours (Monday-Friday 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm). Part-time (minimum of 28 hours per week) will be considered. Occasional weekend and evening work if required for fundraising and supporter events for which TOIL will be agreed with the line manager.
Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per annum, pro rata depending on experience (£21,600 – £24,000 actual for 28 hours per week)

About the role:
As Individual Giving Officer, you will plan and deliver impactful direct response fundraising campaigns across digital and offline channels. You’ll manage a portfolio of individual giving products including appeals, regular giving, in-memory giving, lotteries and raffles – using audience insight, segmentation and performance data to continually optimise results.
You will play a central role in shaping supporter journeys, improving acquisition and retention, and strengthening digital fundraising performance through email, paid and organic social, website content and integrated campaigns.
This is a hands-on campaign role ideal for someone with strong direct marketing and digital marketing experience who enjoys using a combination of creativity and analysis to shape innovation and fundraising product development.
About you
We’re looking for a direct marketing professional who can balance creative campaign thinking with data-led decision making.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Experience delivering direct marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels
- Proven experience in digital marketing, including email marketing, paid and organic social advertising and website content
- Strong understanding of direct response principles and supporter/customer journeys
- Experience managing multiple campaigns and timelines
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills for fundraising or marketing campaigns
- Confidence using CRM systems for segmentation, reporting and analysis
- Experience working with campaign suppliers such as agencies, printers or mailing houses
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- A creative, test-and-learn mindset focused on performance and optimisation
- You will be committed to the values and mission of Bristol Animal Rescue Centre and motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact for animal welfare.
