About The Role

As Welcome Manager, you’ll join a newly shaped Individual Giving team at the Royal British Legion in a role that sits right at the centre of supporter engagement. You’ll be responsible for delivering high quality welcome journeys and campaigns that introduce new supporters to RBL in a compelling, engaging and well-timed way. Working closely with the Senior Welcome Manager, internal teams and agency partners, you’ll take ownership of delivering multi-channel communications that are strategically aligned, insight led and commercially focused. You’ll be managing multiple campaigns and projects at pace, ensuring activity is effectively planned, delivered on time and continuously optimised through testing, reporting and performance analysis. You’ll also play an important role in building strong relationships across fundraising, particularly with data, planning and product strategy teams, helping to ensure campaigns are connected, targeted and delivering the best possible supporter experience.

We’re looking for someone with experience delivering supporter journeys or large-scale marketing campaigns within a fundraising or customer focused environment, who is confident managing stakeholders and working collaboratively across complex teams. You’ll need strong organisational skills, an eye for detail and the ability to balance creativity with process and performance. This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast moving environment, is confident using audience insight and campaign data to shape activity, and wants to be part of a team focused on building smarter, more effective supporter communications.

Your Mission

Following a series of significant new business wins, the Corporate Partnerships Team are looking to grow. We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Corporate Partnerships Officer who is motivated by results and a natural-born relationship builder and communicator.  The role will be responsible for managing, growing and extending a portfolio of partnerships (worth approximately £20,000 per year) as well as supporting the wider team with our higher value partnerships and team administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent relationship management to a portfolio of corporate partners (worth approx. £20k per year), including, but not limited to, producing account management plans, setting partnership objectives, supporting fundraising initiatives and employee engagement, thereby significantly contributing to the corporate fundraising budget and strategy.
• Ensure partnership milestones and fundraising targets are monitored, met, reported on and celebrated with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Confidently represent CALM at key meetings and events, where public speaking and delivering presentations may be required.
• Work closely with the Services, Data and MarComms teams to build engaging, accurate and tailored impact reports for partners that encourage long-term support.
• Continue to seek ways of deepening partner relationships, and spotting opportunities for growth and extensions where possible, contributing to CALM’s strategy of growing repeatable, sustainable income. 
• Devise sustainable exit strategies for partners that leave behind a lasting legacy for CALM.
• Build strong working relationships and collaborate closely with colleagues across CALM to complement partnership activity.
• Use data and  insight to inform team budgeting and reporting.
• Support the Corporate Partnerships team as a whole to be more productive and efficient by taking on administrative tasks. This may include (but not limited to) responding to enquiries, updating our CRM (Salesforce), ordering and sending materials, creating and sending the corporate newsletter, updating the corporate partnerships webpages, writing briefs and conducting desk research.
• Support the Corporate Partnerships team as a whole to be more productive and efficient by identifying and making improvements to working practices and processes.

Your profile 

Competencies

• A demonstrable track record of delivering financial results against agreed targets and timescales.
• Excellent relationship management skills, with ability to engage effectively with a range of audiences both internal and external.
• Ability to direct client facing meetings, getting to the core of what motivates a partner to take action, and present a case for support convincingly.
• Confidence in managing partner expectations and having difficult conversations where necessary, keeping the charity’s best interests at heart.

The Role

We have an exciting 12-month Fixed Term Contract opportunity as a Community Fundraising & Engagement Officer at the Motor Neurone Disease Association, you will help shape and grow support across Northern Ireland for people affected by motor neurone disease (MND) by helping to generate vital income that enables the charity to deliver its mission.

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time and independence, and there is no cure. The MND Association acts with urgency to improve care, fund research and ensure people with MND get the support they need. As a Community Fundraising & Engagement Officer, you will help turn that commitment into action.

Key responsibilities:

• Build on existing support for the MND Association across Northern Ireland
• Develop and support a network of volunteer fundraiser
• Plan and deliver community fundraising activity
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and new supporters, encouraging long-term engagement and loyalty within local communities through exceptional relationship management and stewardship.

The successful candidate will bring proven experience in public affairs, policy, or government relations, alongside a strong understanding of the UK political and legislative landscape. You will be an excellent communicator, with the ability to influence and build credibility with senior stakeholders, and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A proactive, resilient, and adaptable approach is essential, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.

Experience in financial services, credit, or related policy areas, and confidence in campaigns, media engagement, or public speaking would be advantageous but is not essential.

Manchester Central Foodbank is a busy Trussell Trust-affiliated food bank, with centres in Central, North, and East Manchester. We were established in Ardwick in 2013 by students at the Manchester Universities’ Catholic Chaplaincy, making us the first student-led food bank in the country. Since then we have grown significantly, expanding our weekly sessions into Harpurhey and Openshaw.

Our core aims are to deliver the best quality support that we can to the largest number of our neighbours in need, while working with partners and influencing and organising at a neighbourhood and citywide level to reduce and end the need for food banks in Manchester.

We currently support 16,000 people per year with nutritionally balanced 3-day food parcels. This is double the number of people we supported in the first year following the Covid-19 pandemic, and four times the number supported in 2019. We also provide financial inclusion support with advice workers in public sessions, access to energy vouchers, SIM cards, and other voucher or material support. We coordinate across a network of 200 active front-line referral agencies with the aim of ensuring everyone who accesses our service has appropriate, specialised, and ongoing support alongside the material provision that we provide.

Key responsibilities
As Chief Executive Officer you will be the key senior staff leader for the charity. You will lead the team to ensure they have the resources, frameworks, and support to effect smooth day-to-day running of our frontline support service. You will provide a strong business management focus, through supporting the financial process, overall metrics and reporting, day to day HR and input for the external Payroll Team, Health and Safety, appropriate working conditions, and strategic planning and communications. 

As the senior lead you will also facilitate and support the Board of Trustees to develop and lead strategic development objectives and plans for transformation, and ensure the delivery and implementation of the charity’s overall strategy and specific focused strategies. You will be a key external interface for our community and partners.  You will do this by:

Staff/Board Leadership and Governance:

• Line managing a current team of operations staff, including those supporting the recruitment, training, and management of a large team of volunteers. 

• Building team spirit and employee engagement and offer.

• Leading and delivering regular staff performance and development reviews.

• Developing and delivering robust metrics and reporting to the board and staff team, through consistent monthly and quarterly reporting packs to the board of trustees.

• Ensuring all staff and volunteers are familiar and engaged with the charity’s long-term goals and objectives, and know how their work helps to implement these on the ground. Leading the development of induction packages and ongoing offers for staff and volunteers. You will be responsible for writing, implementation, and update of institutional policies as needed to staff and volunteers.

• Leading targeted volunteer recruitment strategies to maximise core delivery capacity through volunteer roles and prioritise staffing capacity to core charity operations.

• Ensure policies are kept current.

As a result, 287 million people are living with the virus, but only a small fraction know.

The Veterans' Foundation is entering its second decade with a clear ambition to build a more sustainable, diversified and data-led fundraising model.
