Purpose of the Job
We are seeking to hire 2 Individual Giving Officers. As the Individual Giving Officer, you will support the Individual Giving Managers developing our individual giving programmes, including acquisition through face to face, digital and direct mail channels and innovate within the space. The post-holder will take on specific campaigns and manage these from inception to completion including data selection, creative, print and post-campaign analysis. The role also offers a fantastic opportunity for the post-holder to help drive innovation in Individual Giving at Felix.
Duties & Responsibilities
The key focus of the role will be:
- Supporting the Individual Giving Managers with acquisition and retention activities.
- Taking a proactive role in supporter stewardship
- Insight and Evaluation
Campaign Management – Supporter Acquisition and Retention
- Help deliver a calendar of activities across digital and traditional channels in line with agreed budget targets
- Campaign manage supporter updates from inception to completion including data selection, creative, print and post-campaign analysis
Supporter Stewardship
- Be proactive in refining and improving supporter stewardship processes and assist with updating related policies as required
- Support the supporter care team with queries where required
- Take a lead in updating and monitoring the Fundraising complaints log
Developing in Legacy giving programme
- Support in the development of an effective legacy acquisition and stewardship programme.
Insight & Evaluation
- Produce post-campaign reports and make recommendations on refining approaches to improve overall performance
- Monitor Supporter attrition levels and implement measures to mitigate drop-offs
Collaboration
- Work with Senior Individual Giving and Legacy Manager on new income-generation opportunities
- Work with the Marketing team to maximise opportunities utilising social media platforms
General
- Understanding of the Institute of Fundraising’s Code of Practice, data protection and other relevant legislation, guidance and good practice
Essential Criteria
- Proven track record of campaign management across Individual Giving, across both acquisition and retention methods.
- Previous experience of creating supporter journeys that have reduced attrition rates and increased supporter engagement.
- Experience of using supporter databases for audience segmentation and insight.
- Experience of supporter (or customer) care and managing queries and complaints.
- Good numeracy and Excel skills.
- Understanding of the regulatory environment for fundraising, including data protection, codes of fundraising practice and Gift Aid. Not essential but please state if you have experience with Gambling Protection laws and regulations (including LCCP).
- Ability to build strong working relationships at all levels, and to work independently within a small team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for fighting food waste and food inequality.

Job Summary
The Senior Partnership Officer will play a pivotal role in building, strengthening and diversifying Bipolar UK’s high‑value relationships, with a particular emphasis on corporate fundraising and identifying strategic, mutually beneficial collaborations that support the charity’s long‑term needs.
Working closely with the Strategic Partnership Manager, you will manage and grow our portfolio of major donors, corporate supporters, and strategic partners. You will provide exceptional stewardship, ensuring partners feel valued, engaged, and inspired to deepen their relationship with us.
A key part of the role will involve proactively identifying and cultivating new corporate prospects, developing compelling propositions, crafting funding proposals, and pitching confidently to decision‑makers at all levels. Design and deliver Spotlight’s day to day communications and public messaging to ensure we achieve real reforms and impact in tackling corruption and protecting UK democracy.

Secure strategic and influential media coverage by developing and maintaining relationships with journalists, developing ideas for stories, and identifying key communication opportunities to get Spotlight’s messages across, including by monitoring daily news.

Build Spotlight’s reach and influence online with target audiences (politicians, civil servants, journalists, civil society, and funders) by maintaining Spotlight on Corruption’s website, social media accounts and mailing lists, and working with colleagues to develop engaging content.

Develop newsletters, press releases, website copy, social media posts, and other communications materials, including scripts for, as well as filming, videos on Spotlight messages that appeal to different audiences.

Develop a communications strategy for the organisation to implement its three year strategy which builds and secures Spotlight’s reputation as a leading anti-corruption organisation.

Working arrangements
Full-time, 35 hours per week. Working from home required, but with one day a week in the office near London Bridge. Must be based in or near London. We support flexible working arrangements and operate a nine day fortnight. Attendance at networking events and being on-call for media work outside of office hours occasionally required.

We are recruiting a Community Builder to strengthen and grow our grassroots feminist movement. This role will support Fawcett’s Local Groups, develop clear and inclusive pathways for people to get involved, and help connect local activism with national campaigns and policy change.
This is a role for someone who believes power should be shared, not hoarded — and who is motivated by building feminist power beyond any single organisation.
About the role
Local Groups are the foundation of Fawcett’s movement. Our Local Groups campaign on local issues affecting women in their locality, and create national campaigns and policy drives based on the lived experience of their local group.
We want to do more to bring these groups together, to strengthen our support of these groups, to pull together the voices and campaigns into national policy priorities, and ensure that every member of a local group feels connected to the national movement.
This is where this new role comes in.
The Community Builder will help people set up new groups, and ensure our groups are well supported, informed, and connected, while also exploring new ways for people to organise together, including thematic and digital communities.
Alongside relationship-building, the role carries responsibility for ensuring community activity is underpinned by clear processes, agreements, and risk management, so that grassroots organising is safe and sustainable.
This is a manager-level role, working with autonomy and initiative, with scope to grow into line management in future.
What you will do
- Support and strengthen Fawcett’s local groups, building trusted relationships with activists and group leaders.
- Create clear, accessible pathways for people to set up new groups, join existing ones, or engage in other forms of feminist activism.
- Connect and embed grassroots insights and lived experience with Fawcett’s national campaigns and policy work.
- Support activists to grow their skills, confidence, and leadership in inclusive and democratic ways.
- Develop and maintain processes, agreements, and protocols that support safe, compliant, and sustainable community organising.
- Explore and assess new models and tools for feminist community-building, including digital approaches.
- Collaborate across campaigns, communications, and membership to strengthen Fawcett’s overall impact.

- A strong commitment to intersectional, anti-racist feminist practice.

- Confidence working with ambiguity and helping shape new approaches where no template exists.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust across diverse communities.
- Awareness of risk, safeguarding, or compliance considerations in grassroots or volunteer activity.
- Curiosity about digital tools and inclusive ways of organising.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and purpose-driven Marketing & Communications Officer to join our passionate and committed team. Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, you will develop and deliver the marketing and some of the communication plans and activities across the breadth of OCT’s work.
You’ll support the Marcoms Manager and Head of Advocacy and Engagement, bringing ideas across our OCT programmes that build our profile, generate income via our events, experiences and Learning team, support fundraising, promote the role of our visitor attraction, and amplify the impact of our Ocean conservation work. This role focuses on story-telling and content creation, adapting our key messages to our diverse audiences, driving media engagement and communicating across multiple channels.
As your role will work collaboratively with many departments and stakeholders within the OCT, you will be familiar with tailoring messaging and flexing your ways of working with the relevant department heads and team members to develop and deliver campaigns and activities in a timely manner, some of which also convert into income for the charity.
You’ll be able to demonstrate experience within Marketing or Communications roles. Having experience within conservation or charities would be desirable. You’ll be passionate about our cause, with a positive, can-do attitude and capacity for learning.
You’ll work Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm based at the National Marine Aquarium, in Plymouth. There will be occasions when you’re needed to work weekends and bank holidays to meet business needs, where you will be eligible for TOIL. There may be opportunity for flexibility to work from home on occasion, fitting around work priorities and other team members.

About the Role
To lead on the Trust’s Policy and Communications work. To ensure our strategy and work in this area is led by the specific needs of people affected by MSA. This will require effective contact between the Trust and people affected by MSA, a range of health and care professionals; in order to develop their engagement in a professional and supportive way. To be an ambassador for change in wider society, working in the best interests of people affected by MSA. To develop and ensure effective external communications and dialogue with people affected by MSA and facilitate positive collaboration with other relevant agencies and policymakers. To promote the development of this element of work within the MSA Trust, which may include future line management responsibility as the work develops.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the CEO, internal teams, Services Committee, and other colleagues to set and deliver an integrated Policy and External Communications strategy for the MSA Trust.
- Be responsible for the development and delivery of an operational plan with targets and be accountable for the budget in this area.
- Lead on policy and campaigning work, ensuring priorities reflect the views of people with MSA.
- Be responsible for the Trust’s external communications and messaging.
- Be responsible for ensuring that the development and output of our communications and policy work are inclusive and reflect the diversity of our MSA community.
- Play a key role in the development and effectiveness of national and local voluntary networks that support shared ambitions for the neurology sector.
- Play a key role in the production of MSA News – the Trust’s flagship publication for members.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure our services are compliant with relevant policies, procedures and relevant legislative frameworks.
- Create positive relationships with MSA Trust colleagues, Trustees, and external networks to share knowledge, insight and evidence.
