About this role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our small finance team as Finance Officer. This is a key role that will report to our Finance Manager and work closely with colleagues across the organisation so that our financial processes run smoothly and accurately.

London Gypsies and Travellers (LGT) challenges social exclusion and discrimination, working for change in partnership with Gypsy and Traveller communities living on council caravan sites, roadside camps, in bricks and mortar housing, and those experiencing homelessness.

About the role

This Operations & Administration Coordinator role is a diverse and hands-on role, covering a wide range of tasks and responsibilities that are essential to the smooth, efficient running of the organisation. It's a part-time position for three days (21 hours) a week.

You will provide day‑to‑day operational coordination across IT systems, office management, finance administration and HR processes, alongside varied administrative support. Acting as a central point of contact, you will work closely with colleagues, external suppliers and advisors to ensure our working environment, systems, policies and processes are practical, compliant and support staff to do their best work.

The role works with all staff and external suppliers, particularly the Resilience Strategy Lead, Finance Officer, CEO and external IT support providers.

About you

Job Description:

Management and Strategy

• Support the policy portfolio of campaigns and projects across our national policy areas, including on food prices and food inflation, our Good Food Bill campaign, Healthy Start and early years.
• Work closely with the Policy and Advocacy Manager to develop and implement project plans and deliverables across these areas
• Maintain a careful record of our policy impact according to our agreed metrics within our Monitoring Evaluation and Learning framework.
• Policy and research
• Synthesize evidence for and play a significant part in the development of position statements/briefings/reports, working closely with the wider policy team and our designer.
• Support the Public Affairs lead to develop policy products for use in parliamentary engagement.
• Working closely with our Research Lead, identify evidence gaps and policy research questions which are relevant to our policy work to support new positions and generate new ideas for research or evidence collection which help achieve our policy goals.
• Work where needed with external contractors in the delivery of specific pieces of work, setting clear expectations and holding them accountable for delivery.

As the Hospice develops our community engagement and supporter base, we are looking for an ambitious Supporter Development Manager to help build sustainable income and partnership relationships to support the Hospice into the future.

The Content Officer supports this work by producing accurate and engaging content that strengthens our story telling and supports our priorities. It contributes to the success of major campaigns. The role helps create a range of written, visual and multimedia materials that explain complex topics — including research, policy, partnerships and fundraising activity — in a compelling and accessible way.

Working collaboratively with colleagues across Policy, Corporate Partnerships, Brand, Strategic Marketing, Social Media, Digital and in the Communications team, the Content Officer ensures that content is aligned, consistent and impactful. About Alzheimer’s Research UK: Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity. The Communications Lead will own GFO’s communications across both the organisation and OxFarmToFork, with a clear brief: to grow our reach, amplify the work of our network, and help translate what we do into income and impact. That means building and delivering a coherent annual comms plan, maintaining a consistent presence across our channels, and actively spotting the connections between GFO projects and OxFarmToFork that make for the strongest stories. 

You’ll shape how GFO presents itself externally and make sure our communications work hard for the organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing 

Communications Strategy and Planning 

• Develop and own GFO’s annual communications plan, covering both GFO and OxFarmToFork, with clear goals, audiences, channels, and success measures. 

• Advise the CEO and project leads on communications priorities and timing throughout the year. 

• Track and report on communications performance, using data to inform decisions about content, channels, and audience engagement. 

• Ensure comms plans meet funding requirements/deliverables for projects. 

Content and Channel Management 

• Write and publish content across GFO’s digital channels: social media (primarily Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook), the website, email newsletters, and blogs. 

• Manage the social media presence for both GFO and OxFarmToFork: planning content calendars, writing copy, scheduling posts, and responding to engagement. 

• Monitor and actively work to grow engagement metrics across key platforms, using platform analytics to understand what’s working and adjust accordingly. 

• Maintain and update GFO’s website, including campaign pages, news, and project updates. Basic CMS work; more significant design or development can be contracted out. 

• Write and distribute press releases and support media relations when opportunities arise. 

Project and Campaign Communications 

• Provide communications support for GFO campaigns across their full lifecycle, from initial promotion through to impact reporting – including the Great Big Green Lunch, the Pumpkin Festival, and the WISH initiative. 

• Develop audience-appropriate messaging for OxFarmToFork, aimed at potential producers, institutional buyers, and the wider public. 

• Support the production of funder reports and stakeholder updates by providing communications evidence and impact content. 

• Brief and manage external contractors for specialist design work as needed. 

Network and Stakeholder Communications 

• Support GFO’s member network communications, keeping network members informed, engaged, and connected to GFO’s work.

The Living Wage Foundation is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Media and Communications Manager to join our team for a 12-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and proactive communications professional with a strong background in media relations, public messaging, and team leadership. About the team

The Legacy & In Memory (LIM) Marketing Team is responsible for increasing awareness and consideration for gifts in wills and/or an in memory gift. The team develop and deliver cross- funnel and multi-channel legacy consideration campaigns, supporter journeys and engage staff in the cross promotion of gifts in wills and in memory giving.

Our legacy income is growing, and the activities the LIM Marketing Team delivers is leading to long-term income growth to ensure that future generations around the world can change their lives with clean water.

About the role

As our Legacy & In Memory Senior Marketing Officer you will deliver a range of compelling communications to increase consideration for legacy giving and implement personalised stewardship journeys for our legacy and in memory supporters, as well as delivering engaging thank you events, and work closely with the Legacy & In Memory Marketing Manager to drive sustainable change.

In this role, you will:

• Plan, manage and execute print, email and digital campaigns across the marketing funnel to raise consideration for legacy giving
• Deliver exceptional stewardship, through personal communication journeys, for our Legacy and In Memory supporters
• Manage a legacy and high value supporter event programme
• Operate a rigorous test to learn methodology, regularly monitoring, evaluating and analysing campaigns
• Champion WaterAid’s commitment to equity, inclusion and safeguarding.

Requirements

To be successful, you will need:

• Proven experience in a direct marketing or supporter engagement role
• Proven experience in delivering and/or supporting on events
• Experience of developing and implementing supporter journeys across multiple channels
• A working style that reflects WaterAid’s values of Respect, Accountability, Courage, Collaboration, Integrity and Innovation.

Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:

• A recognised direct marketing qualification
• Experience of legacy or in memory fundraising
• Experience of working in the voluntary/ fundraising sector

About the role

We are looking for a Parliamentary Engagement Officer to strengthen our engagement with policymakers across the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of farming, environment and policy. You will play a key role in ensuring that farmer experience and evidence are reflected in parliamentary discussions, helping to shape conversations that impact the future of farming.

Working directly with the Chief Executive and closely with the policy team, you will monitor parliamentary activity, identify opportunities for engagement, and support timely and well-informed interaction with MPs, peers and their teams. You will also work across the organisation, including with country teams and farmer steering groups, to ensure engagement reflects priorities across all UK nations.

This is a practical, fast-paced role suited to someone who is organised, politically aware, and able to respond quickly to emerging opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor parliamentary activity across Westminster and the devolved parliaments, identifying relevant debates, questions, committees and opportunities for engagement

• Maintain a forward view on key parliamentary activity and upcoming moments of influence

• Produce and circulate clear, concise briefings on parliamentary activity and recommended areas for engagement

• Draft and support the submission of parliamentary questions, briefings and lines for MPs, peers and their staff

• Build and maintain relationships with MPs, peers, advisers and parliamentary staff across parties

• Support coordinated engagement with political stakeholders, ensuring activity is timely and aligned with organisational priorities

• Work with colleagues and partners to support effective and aligned parliamentary engagement

It is essential to have experience in People Management as this role oversees the different branches of the Engagement and Storytelling theme covering Communication, Policy and Membership.

The Community Organiser will develop We Belong’s community outreach and youth organising in Manchester and the North, working with staff to identify target boroughs/wards, initiate partnerships and collaborations with local councils, community and grassroot organisations. The Community Engagement officer will have oversight of the Chasing Status Hyper Local Project which focuses on network creation, mobilisation for campaigns for shorter routes to settlement as well as early intervention to ensure that no young migrant is left behind.
