At Prisoners Abroad, we support British citizens imprisoned overseas, their families at home, and people returning to the UK after prison. We are a small but powerful charity, providing life-saving support through some of the most isolating and traumatic experiences imaginable.
We’re looking for a Resettlement Officer to join our frontline team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract, working at the intersection of criminal justice, homelessness prevention and social reintegration. You’ll manage a caseload of people returning to the UK after prison abroad, providing essential support and advice around housing, benefits, mental health, and advocacy for this overlooked group, and co-facilitate support groups.
You’ll need frontline experience supporting people with multiple needs, strong advocacy and communication skills, and a non-judgemental, person-centred approach.
What we offer:

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Property Manager to provide high quality support which will give our survivors of domestic violence and their children living in our refuges a safer environment to live.
We are recruiting for a Property Manager to join our growing Property team, we are looking for a committed and knowledgeable person to lead our property asset management. This is an opportunity to support women and children facing multiple barriers to safety and recovery, including survivors with insecure immigration status, experiences of homelessness or substance misuse.
You will provide leadership in day-to-day service delivery, ensuring high standards of property management. You will oversee a portfolio of property for programme of works, lease and contract management and create a contractor supplier database.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in property and contractor management who wants to make a difference for our survivors. You will be supported to develop your knowledge and skills with training and development opportunities.

Job Title: Deputy Service Manager

Salary: £34,703.51 per annum, inclusive of London weighting if applicable

This is an opportunity to join the Gaia Centre as a Deputy Service Manager.
The Deputy Service Manager will manage a team and carry a very small caseload of complex cases when necessary. The post will work closely with victims and survivors of different strands of strands of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), including domestic abuse and violence (physical, sexual, emotional, psychological, economic or tech abuse), Sexual Violence (Rape and sexual assault), Stalking and harassment , Sexual exploitation (including women working in sex industry and Child Sexual Exploitation), female genital mutilation (FGM)/cutting , forced marriage, So-called ‘honour’-based abuse, provide early identification and offer appropriate care pathways for survivors of all genders, aged 16 years and over and their children, living, working or/and studying in Lambeth at times from the point of crisis.
The job involves working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the Multiagency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) and local partnership protocols and procedures that prioritise the safety of survivors. Additionally, you will be working with survivors and agencies across Lambeth so will require significant travelling.
The post holder will empower survivors by providing them with emotional and practical support, thus enabling them to access their rights, make decisions and increase their life options. The post holder will inform survivors of the full range of civil, criminal and practical options that might increase their safety.
As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.
