Purpose of the Children and Young People Training Coordinator role:
As Children and Young People Training Coordinator, the successful candidate will play an integral role in supporting the Children and Young People (CYP) team with the daily functions that are necessary to enable the CYP work (What Works and Expect Respect programmes) to run smoothly and includes the effective and strategic support for training structures by being the key contact for external coordination with schools and the assistance of training delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and running the effective implementation and maintenance of administrative structures, systems, and processes.
Key duties and responsibilities of the Children and Young People Training Coordinator:
- To act as the point of contact and reference for training officers, schools and other internal and external partners and customers
- To organise the timetabling, travel and logistics, materials and other relevant support to the ensure the smooth delivery of the programme.
- To ensure that payments, invoicing and purchases and expenses are accurately processed to always ensure financial accountability.
- To track the impact of the programme delivery and maintain accurate records that can support reporting to the Accountable lead, the board and to funders.
- To maintain the team’s risk register and ensure that data is stored and managed in line with GDPR and confidentiality.
- To support the service in any other way necessary within the parameters of the role.

The Philanthropy Officer will create and manage their own portfolio of existing and potential philanthropy donors and use relationship building skills to create strong links with both new and existing donors, including delivering high quality stewardship and reporting on Full Fact’s successes. The post-holder will create and update detailed and persuasive cases for support for new and existing Full Fact projects and deliver successful events that align with Full Fact’s mission and increase engagement. The ideal candidate for this role will have two years of fundraising experience, preferably in trusts and/or major donor fundraising. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the interface of research, farming and policy working as part of the GFM team to support the development of the GFM framework and its application on farm, in the food supply chain, for education and learning, policy and finance.
Reporting to the Head of Research of the SFT, you will join the GFM team responsible for a wide range of trials, in the UK and internationally. These include Defra Elms pilots, farm cluster groups, supply chain trials, and international trials delivered as partners of Regen10. Our trials test the application of the framework and the use of the GFM by other stakeholders.
You will work collaboratively with the trials team managers supporting the design, evaluation and timely delivery of trials. You will lead the quantitative and qualitative analysis of results and the design and reporting of feedback from participants, working with project partners, our trials team, and the wider SFT team to achieve and communicate outcomes. You will provide technical support to the team for the current GFM assessment and work with them and other project partners on the continuing development of sustainability assessments and data collection methodologies for application nationally and internationally.
The postholder will also have the opportunity to contribute to related work on the conceptual development and application of the framework in different contexts.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the team of trials managers responsible for a wide range of GFM trials, in the UK and internationally.
- Lead on the quantitative and qualitative analysis and interpretation of results and the design and reporting of feedbacfrom participants.
- Support the reporting and communication of results, leading the writing of key reports for stakeholders as needed.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of assessments used for the trials nationally and internationally - providing technical support including around data management, cleaning and extraction.
- Support the design and facilitation of workshops for trial farmers and farm advisors.
- Support the team to deliver their trials and meet trial deadlines, whilst sharing best practice and learnings across the team to build on the skills and strengths of the team across all trials.

- Work with project partners, our trials team, and the wider Global Farm Metric team to achieve and communicate our GFM mission and outcomes.
Relationships:
- Contribute to discussion and review of metrics and GFM team outputs and planning.
- Attend internal meetings on-line and in-person to share and discuss progress.
- Engage with external organisations as required to support and promote the GFM and the trials.
- Attend external meetings and events to present work as required (mainly in the UK, potentially EU)
- Work with the wider GFM and SFT team to support related work when needed.
- Engage with our externals partners and consultants to identify potential for collaboration and avoid duplication in related areas of work.
- Engage with the Regen10 Frameworks Hub team and contribute to discussions, planning and reports.
Specifically, we are looking for candidates who have experience with and can demonstrate the following:
- Masters level qualification (or degree level with 2-3 years relevant workplace experience) in a subject area related to food and farming
- Good knowledge and practical experience of UK farming and farm sustainability.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills.
- Experience in developing, delivering, or researching farm sustainability assessments including knowledge of LCA and similar impact assessment approaches.
- Competence in the use of Excel and other packages to collect, manage, analyse and interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
- Ability to create simple coding for data management, analysis and display an advantage
- Experience of delivering high quality, robust reports and written materials for different audiences
- Experience of engagement with farmers and/or farm advisors (desirable).

Job Purpose
The purpose of the Programme Coordinator is co-ordinate with all parties (Community Engagement Manager, the Programme Manager, LMK Leaders and the host organisations) to enable LMK to deliver high quality workshops for young people/youth work professionals/workplaces.
Acting as the lynchpin of the organisation’s delivery team, the Programme Coordinator takes the workshop brief from the LMK Community Engagement Manager and then works with the Programme Manager to secure facilitators (LMK leaders), ensures the host organisation receives all supporting information, and provides LMK Leaders with the resources they need to deliver the workshop effectively. This role is also responsible for regular reporting about workshop bookings and delivery.
Reporting to our CEO, the successful candidate will be part of LMK’s core staff team. You will work with LMK staff, LMK Leaders, members of our Youth Advisory Board, trustees and key stakeholders to develop and implement our long-term strategy.
Key responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service to organisations who are hosting LMK workshops, ensuring that all communication is timely and accurate, and any questions are responded to in full.

Role Summary
The Programme Coordinator (Scotland) is a key point of contact for the Into Film Programme in Scotland and delivers Into Film’s Programmes and projects both face to face and online within a bespoke Scottish context/approach.
