Age UK Camden is an independent charity supporting older people throughout the borough of Camden. This role sits within the Fundraising and Marketing Team, responsible for raising the profile of Age UK Camden within the borough and generating income for the organisation.
The Press and Communications officer will oversee our press and media activity, writing press releases and building strong relationships with local and, where relevant, national media. The post holder will be responsible for producing marketing materials – print and online – for the organisation. The post holder will be responsible for Age UK website – liaising with colleagues to keep service information up to date, writing and producing relevant news articles and content as needed, auditing and organising existing website content. THE ROLE
The full-time Creative Communications and Events Officer works within the Communications team to help inform the public about antisemitism using a variety of media.
You will be joining our small, fast-paced, entrepreneurial staff team based at our office in central London.

Responsibilities
- You will design graphics across our organisation, from social media posts and placards to pamphlets to pledge cards

- Provide logistical support for communications projects, including scouting and booking locations, ordering materials, liaising with third parties and conducting internal research

We are looking for a proactive self-starter to sit within a high-performing team working to raise awareness of SSAFA’s support in the South East and London Region of England to those in the Armed Forces Community who need it most.

This role reports to the Senior Storytelling Manager with close alignment with colleagues across the marcomms directorate.
