About the role and you
We are looking for a data professional to support and manage significant changes in the way our charity uses, processes and manages data. Our teams pride themselves on evidence-informed practice, using research and data to enhance their work at every stage. There are elements of our charity’s work which are unique to our field, making our data highly valuable in contributing to the future of preventing child sexual abuse. We collect data all the time: on the individual progress of our clients, the reach of our campaigns and the demand for our support. As part of our new Tech and Data Strategy, we are taking the next stage in our use of data analysis and data science, ensuring that we use our data more effectively and efficiently to support our teams in preventing child sexual abuse.
We are looking for a Data Scientist/Analyst to help us make this change. You will be based in the LFF Research Team, reporting to our Director of Research and Impact.
This role will facilitate better use, processing and management of data across the organisation. It will focus on four areas:
- Data systems and structures
- Data analysis
- Data visualisation
- Data security and compliance
The postholder will work alongside experienced researchers to develop a new portfolio of priority projects to enhance our work. With no fixed task list or assigned service, this role offers the freedom to explore and innovate, identifying where data, data science, and data systems can drive real change.

It’s important for you to know that Scope Charity Shops are open every day. So some weekend and Bank Holiday cover is needed. Our full time hours are 35 hours a week, working five days out of seven. Weekly hours for part-time vacancies are on a seven-day rota.

- Work with participants, sponsors, suppliers, volunteers, and internal stakeholders to bring events to life.
- Be accountable for six-figure income and expenditure budgets, ensuring value and impact.
- Identify opportunities to improve supporter experience, increase average gift, and drive retention.
To be successful, you must have experience:
- A proven project manager with experience delivering large scale fundraising events or campaigns.
- Skilled in managing high value budgets and reporting against KPIs.
- A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
- A strategic thinker with a hands on approach, able to lead from the front.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional experiences for supporters.
- Comfortable working evenings and weekends when events require it.
- Willing to travel across the UK and occasionally overseas.
- Proficient in MS Office, social media, and event management software.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Experience working within a charity or non-profit setting.
- Familiarity with event registration platforms and supporter databases.
- Holds a full UK driving licence.

About the Role
This newly created senior fundraising position is an exciting, career-defining opportunity! As Philanthropy Manager you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing the charity’s Major Donor and Individual Giving strategies, ensuring they achieve their ambitious income growth.

We are recruiting for Community Fundraising Lead to provide support and guidance to individuals and small groups of existing volunteers across a range of geographical areas, many of whom have been on a journey with the charity for decades, recognising their values whilst ensuring the updated mission of the charity is respected and communicated effectively. Working with both the Marketing and Income Generation teams, there will be opportunities to collaborate on projects and develop leads for support to maximise on fundraising activities and donor retention.

Life is a UK charity for vulnerable women and families facing unexpected pregnancy or pregnancy loss. Life’s aim is to provide housing, care and support to vulnerable pregnant women (typically aged 16-25) who are in crisis situations, such as those facing homelessness (or at risk of), escaping abuse or other traumatic circumstances. About You
Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, the postholder will be responsible for building on our existing community fundraising initiatives, which includes networks of loyal volunteers and church contacts – from international pilgrim participants completing fundraising treks to congregations organising bake sales. Liaising with people at all levels, the role will oversee initiatives such as our Ambassador programme, encouraging people to be confident representatives of the charity and ensure they are equipped to share key updates about national campaigns and community fundraising initiatives.

Location: Hybrid-working based in the Midlands, with frequent travel to supporter locations (Home Counties/ Midlands) and occasional travel to Head Office (Leamington Spa)
