At M7 Education, our mission is simple — to level the educational playing field by making experiential learning accessible to every student. We believe one school trip can change a student’s entire outlook on education, yet too many miss out due to financial barriers.

We provide fully funded school trips and workshops for high pupil premium schools across England and Wales, taking care of both the funding and the logistics so that teachers can focus on inspiring their students.

The Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and driven Fundraising and Events Lead to join our growing team. This is a new and exciting opportunity to shape the future of M7 Education’s fundraising strategy and be the driving force behind our next phase of growth.

You’ll take the lead in developing new income streams, building strong relationships with donors and fundraisers, and creating inspiring fundraising events and campaigns. Working closely with the CEO, you’ll have the freedom to innovate, test new ideas, and lay the groundwork for a future fundraising function within the charity.

This is a hands-on role that’s perfect for someone with experience in charity fundraising and event management who’s eager to make a tangible difference in education.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a comprehensive fundraising strategy to increase income across multiple channels.
• Manage relationships with individual fundraisers, supporting their journeys and ensuring excellent stewardship.
• Plan, coordinate, and deliver fundraising events — both third-party events (such as the SuperHalfs series) and M7-run initiatives.
• Research, write, and submit compelling grant applications to trusts and foundations.
• Lead creative fundraising campaigns that engage new supporters and promote M7 Education’s mission.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, sponsors, and community partners.

Who We Are

Our charity was established in 1992, to provide care and support to people in Sussex, living with and affected by HIV. Over the past three decades there have been huge advances in treatment and care for those affected by the virus. People taking effective anti-retroviral medication (ART’s) can live long lives, with HIV becoming undetectable and untransmittable.

Whilst people who are living with HIV can live longer, many develop other physical co-morbidities as they age and many experience social and self- stigma. Our service users are often from marginalised groups, who often experience inter-sectional discrimination and health inequalities. Many of our service users experience socio-economic disadvantage and have multiple and complex needs.

The Sussex Beacon offers a range of services to people who have been living with HIV for decades through to those who are newly diagnosed.  Our services include:

The Role

This is an exciting time for The Sussex Beacon, as we are about to launch our new 2030 Strategic Plan and move to a new era of delivery, through the evolution of our end of life and palliative care for the LGBTQ+ community.  The Sussex Beacon will be the first Hospice of its kind in the country tackling stigma and health inequalities for those who are most marginalised in our community.

This role will secure, manage and grow income from corporate partners, supporting The Sussex Beacon’s mission to provide specialist care and support for people living with HIV and its new LGBTQ+ Hospice provision. This role is responsible for building long-term, strategic relationships with businesses, creating tailored partnership opportunities, and contributing to the charity’s wider income generation strategy and its five-year fundraising plan. The postholder will work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to maximise corporate engagement and fundraising potential.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Partnership Fundraising at The Sussex Beacon

The Sussex Beacon has a proud history of working with corporate supporters who are passionate about making a difference. The Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser will lead on identifying new corporate prospects, developing compelling proposals, and managing a portfolio of existing partners. They will create and deliver partnership plans that may include sponsorship, employee fundraising, cause-related marketing, and volunteering. By aligning business objectives with The Sussex Beacon’s values and impact, the postholder will ensure meaningful and sustainable relationships that benefit both parties.

Team Beacon

Team Beacon is the charity’s fundraising event brand, bringing together supporters through challenge events, campaigns, and volunteering. The Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser will work closely with the fundraising team to integrate corporate teams into Team Beacon activities, encourage staff engagement, and develop sponsorship packages for major events such as The Brighton Half Marathon, which we own, and community challenges. This collaborative approach enhances visibility and fosters a sense of shared purpose among partners and supporters alike.

Business Networking Events

The postholder will represent The Sussex Beacon at a variety of business networking events, including LGBTQ+ network events, across Sussex and beyond. These events offer valuable opportunities to connect with potential partners, showcase the charity’s impact, and build strategic relationships. The Fundraiser will be proactive in identifying and attending relevant events, from Chamber of Commerce meetings to local business expos, ensuring The Sussex Beacon maintains a visible and professional presence in the corporate community.

Other Duties

· Maintain accurate records of partner interactions and income through the charity’s CRM system.

· Prepare regular reports and updates for the Head of Income and senior leadership.

· Work with the communications team to highlight successful partnerships and case studies.

· Support the wider fundraising team during peak periods or major campaigns.

· Stay up to date with trends and developments in corporate fundraising and CSR.

· Responsibility alongside fundraising for corporate events such as The Sussex Beacon relay and 5k inflatable course.

The post holder will be required to coordinate and attend events across the UK, including our annual national conference in London and other planned regional events throughout the year. Travel and occasional overnight stays may be needed.

Role Purpose

The Events Coordinator is responsible for planning, organising, and delivering a varied programme of impactful events for service users, volunteers, and the wider cardiomyopathy community. These include, but are not limited to, supporting logistics, planning and execution of information days, medical education events, webinars, volunteer development days, and the charity’s annual national conference.

The role covers the full lifecycle of event management, from concept and planning through to delivery and evaluation. This includes oversight of event budgets, supplier and stakeholder management, and ensuring all events are delivered to a high standard, on time, and within budget. Events will be delivered both in person and online, so confidence in managing virtual and in-person events is essential.

Working collaboratively with colleagues across the charity, the Events Coordinator ensures that every event is accessible, engaging, on budget and aligned with Cardiomyopathy UK’s mission to improve the lives of people affected by cardiomyopathy.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning & Delivery

• Work with internal teams and external stakeholders to define event objectives, content, themes, budgets, and logistical requirements.
• Plan and deliver a varied programme of events including information days, medical education sessions, webinars, volunteer development days, and the annual national conference.

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Head of Research Funding to lead our research funding activities and play a key role in implementing our new research strategy. Based in Northampton, this role offers the opportunity to oversee the development of new funding opportunities and ensure our work continues to drive meaningful progress for people affected by MND.

As Head of Research Funding, you’ll ensure our research investment delivers impact where it’s needed most. Working closely with colleagues across the Research and Innovation Directorate, you’ll manage a dedicated team, develop effective funding schemes, and strengthen connections with researchers, review panels, and grant holders.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the Association’s research funding activities, delivering to agreed budgets and timelines.
• Ensure research priorities are focused on the needs of people affected by MND.
• Develop and implement new funding schemes that accelerate progress and support our strategic aims.
• Lead improvements to grant management systems, processes, and documentation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to involve people affected by MND in funding decisions.

The role

As Head of Operations, you will lead all operational functions of Foxglove. You will ensure that our finance, HR, legal compliance, fundraising, systems and internal processes enable the organisation to carry out its mission effectively. You’ll work across Foxglove and closely with leadership, as well as with external partners to build a resilient and well-governed organisation, able to manage growth and complexity while staying mission driven. We're looking for an inspirational people person to join us as a Assistant Shop Manager in our Kings Cross shop. This is an exciting opportunity, and we'd like you to join us to help raise vital funds for homeless and badly housed people.

You will work closely with the Shop Manager to ensure the shop looks welcoming, visually appealing and the team of volunteers are motivated and keen to engage with customers and maximise sales.

About the role

You will assist the Shop Manager in the recruitment, support and development of a strong community focused shop team and empower them to maximise Shelter's income. Representing Shelter in your local community, ensuring that you and your team share your knowledge of Shelter's cause with customers, volunteers, donors and potential Shelter clients will also be important aspects of the role. You will always ensure a safe, clean, bright and happy environment for your team to work in and for your customers to shop in, in turn attracting potential donors and volunteers.

You know how to recruit and develop a team of volunteers, and your extraordinary motivational skills will enable you to inspire your team to increase sales and control costs. The Role

Young Trustees Movement is looking for Freelance Trainers to help us deliver our suite of trainings and shake up the charity sector from the inside. Our Freelance Trainers will deliver our trainings Board Boost (for young people) and Across the Board (for charity boards), as well as occasional bespoke sessions for a variety of clients. You’ll be responsible for running our trainings, keeping groups engaged and guiding discussions in an inclusive and supportive way that is in alignment with our movement values.

We’ll provide you with all the relevant training, resources and materials you need to run our sessions independently - and you’ll join a growing network of people helping us advocate for youth leadership & voice.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct training sessions using Young Trustees Movement content & session plans

• Facilitation of group discussions - Skillfully manage group dynamics, including handling difficult conversations, and ensuring all participants feel heard and respected

• Stakeholder engagement & communication - Act as a point of contact for clients & stakeholders, effectively communicating programme progress & outcomes

Essential Requirements

• Embodies and believes in Young Trustees’ Movements’ values (disruption & collaboration, coalition over competition, meaningful youth leadership, open learning & reflection, curiosity, justice & inclusion)

• Previous experience running workshops & trainings

• Experience of working as a trainer, demonstrating a strong sense of independence & self-management

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated communication plans and campaigns to support EJF’s policy work in the EU

• Ensure impactful and consistent coverage of our campaigns, and the issues they cover, in high-profile media outlets

• Prepare press releases and media packs for report launches and external developments, ensuring both proactive and reactive coverage

• Respond swiftly to media enquiries

• Research and actively engage media contacts and outlets, remotely and in person, to increase EJF’s reach, building a database to record and evaluate this outreach

• Work with our communications team around the world to develop coordinated media strategies across geographies and languages

• Evaluate and report on our press performance, making recommendations for ongoing improvement

Essential skills and attributes

• Professional fluency (including excellent writing and editing skills) in English and either French or Spanish

• At least 3 years of experience working in communications, a press office, journalism or similar, with a particular focus on placing stories with, or writing for, high-level traditional media outlets

• Knowledge of media relations, developing communication materials, writing content for different channels and developing social media campaigns

• Experience of and confidence in dealing with journalists from different types of media to ensure effective coverage

• An effective knowledge of the media outlets read by political decision-makers in the EU, and how to place articles in them

• Excellent copywriting skills, including under time pressure, and the ability to identify a good story, linking current affairs to EJF campaigns

High Trees Community Development Trust is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Community Action to join our senior management team and lead one of our core service areas.

This is an exciting and important role within our work, continually shaped by the needs and priorities of the communities we work alongside. While the focus of our Community Action service evolves year on year, it always centres on social action, capacity building, and strengthening community voice.

This coming year will see this work expand rapidly, following High Trees’ successful bid to deliver the local authority contract for capacity building support to voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations across Lambeth.
