We deliver targeted programmes in areas of socio-economic deprivation and inequality across the country. We have five hubs, in Hastings and Bexhill, Swindon, Tyneside, Norwich and Cambridgeshire, and reach over 2,500 young people every year.
We recently developed our 2025-30 strategy, which aims to deepen our impact and double our reach over the next five years. A new fundraising strategy and campaign, Beyond Barriers, will be launched to secure the funds to help us realise our goals and make a positive and lasting impact on the lives of more young people nationwide.
The Fundraising Operations and Data Manager is a newly created role in our Fundraising team. They will be responsible for managing the charity’s CRM (Salesforce) and working with colleagues across the team, and wider organisation, to ensure the smooth operational delivery of fundraising processes and activities.
The Fundraising Operations and Data Manager will provide data and donor insights to help identify trends and opportunities that contribute to shaping fundraising campaigns and enhance our stewardship.
Key responsibilities include:
- Be responsible for the overall management of the Salesforce CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data entry. This includes processing donations, pipeline updates and managing data imports, exports and migrations to support fundraising activities.
- Create reports and dashboards to enable accurate and timely reporting.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and automation, collaborating with colleagues across the organisation to ensure the smooth operation and optimal use of the CRM.
- Work closely with the Head of Fundraising and Finance Manager to ensure that all donations are thanked in a timely manner and recorded correctly.
- Manage pledge payment tracking and reminders and follow-up processes for multi-year donations. Ensure that data management is carried out in accordance with GDPR and PECR, Villiers Park’s data protection and privacy notices, and the Fundraising Code of Practice.
- Act as the point person for all prospect research activities, liaising with third party providers and ensuring adherence to data protection requirements and best practice at all times.
- Oversee the recognition framework and stewardship of current supporters, managing a sustainable and creative stewardship programme that engages supporters with our work.
- Create templates and systems that enhance cultivation and stewardship.
- Generate mailing lists for fundraising and communications, which respond to a range of motivations to give and engagement with the charity.
- Oversee and deliver operational efficiencies in our fundraising processes, for example, with payment providers and events.
- Any other duties as reasonably requested.
As Senior Direct Marketing Officer, you will operate with a level of autonomy, build excellent stakeholder relationships and deliver outstanding fundraising campaigns. A focus on results will be vital but how these are achieved will also form a large part of the role; considering the non-financial measures of quality in addition to more traditional measures of success.
Working with a number of teams and suppliers, you’ll be delivering direct marketing activity through a range of channels and media. The programme is an evolving one with change and growth happening in a lot of interesting areas. Your role will be to help to develop the supporter engagement programme; taking responsibility for long-term projects that will improve the future optimisation of campaigns. You’ll also be responsible for delivering exceptional fundraising campaigns to achieve ambitious income targets.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract, or on return of the substantive postholder, to cover a period of maternity leave.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Management
· Plan, manage and deliver successful campaigns across a range of channels and media.
· Manage projects that will improve the long-term success of campaigns.
· Deliver motivational fundraiser training and develop engaging fundraiser materials with agency stakeholders to ensure high-quality fundraising.
· Ensure compliance and adherence to regulation and codes of practice is considered in all campaign activity. This could include mystery shopping and call listening.
· Work closely with internal stakeholders across multiple teams to ensure effective processes are worked to and full campaign evaluation is possible.
· Continuous improvement through test and learn principles across all activity.
· Integration of campaigns across the charity to drive maximum value.
· Development of compelling communications and materials to support all activities.
People management
· Management and development of the Direct Marketing Executive - Engagement.
· Ensure direct report has clear, SMART objectives and a development plan in place.
· Complete routine 1-1 meetings and annual appraisals.
· Ensure direct report has goals and a development plan written up which are routinely reviewed.
· Agency relationship management across a variety of partners and suppliers, from building relationships and negotiating, to routine performance reviews.
Planning and budgeting
· Input to annual planning and development of individual giving campaigns.
· Support in the compilation of detailed income and expenditure campaign budgets.
· Work with Direct Marketing Manager in developing the Engagement programme and strategy.
· Input to monthly forecasting and regular reporting across a range of financial and non-financial KPIs.
Finance and reporting
· Ensure daily campaign tracking and reporting.
· Routine end of campaign reviews and analysis.
· Ongoing reporting on long-term success measures, such as retention, repeat giving and ROI.
· Invoice reconciliation and processing for timely payment.
· Non-financial KPI trend reporting, such as online conversions, email engagement, opt-out/in rates and quality scoring.

Agile - As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

The Role
The Senior Digital and Content Manager leads the development and delivery of Malaria No More UK’s digital content strategy — shaping how we inspire action, influence decision-makers and elevate diverse voices to drive progress against malaria.
This is a pivotal role at a pivotal moment. You’ll design and deliver a digital engagement strategy that advances our advocacy and policy change goals, responds to the fast-moving communications landscape, and builds understanding, belief and momentum for investing in the fight to end malaria.
Combining strategic thinking, creative storytelling and digital innovation, you’ll position Malaria No More UK as a bold, credible and solutions-focused voice in the global malaria fight. Managing one staff member (Digital Engagement Officer), you’ll collaborate across the organisation to ensure our digital strategy delivers measurable influence and impact — while staying true to our brand voice: togetherness, momentum and possibility.
The average day in this role will be changeable, so being flexible and good under pressure is essential. Primary location of role

The role
The Marketing Officer is responsible for two key areas of delivery, splitting their time equally between supporting the PR and Marketing Manager to deliver key campaigns for the Foundation, and leading on the marketing services for the flagship sustainability project, Blues Go Green.

About You
You are a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with proven administrative experience in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities:

· Maintain and update fundraising budgets, process invoices, and support post-appeal reviews with external suppliers and partners.
· Contribute to digital activities by supporting basic analytics, user journey testing, and content creation for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, with opportunities to take part in digital innovation workshops.

Role Overview
The Donor Relations Officer will be responsible for crafting compelling, donor-centred communications that strengthen long-term relationships with partners and supporters, deepen engagement and inspire giving. One of the main areas of responsibility will be to produce proposals and reports for stakeholders, especially strategic partners and donors. The postholder will work closely with the other members of the Marketing and Communications team, as well as collaborating with other departments within the college. The ideal candidate will have proven experience of producing copy for fundraising and donor relations purposes, and will be a skilled storyteller who can translate the strategic objectives of the college into resonant narratives, understands donor motivations, and writes with clarity, empathy, and purpose.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising & Stewardship Writing
- Develop persuasive and high-quality copy for multi-channel fundraising campaigns (direct mail, email, website, social media etc.)
- Write impact reports and stewardship letters that convey gratitude and demonstrate impact.
- Create case statements, proposals, and presentations for major donor and foundation audiences.
- Oversee the ongoing use of Donorfy CRM to ensure it functions in a way that optimises ANCC's efficiency and makes full use of its functionality; carry out system integrations as needed.
Storytelling & Content Development
- Interview students, alumni, partners, staff and donors to develop authentic, mission-driven stories.
- Adapt organizational content for various donor segments, ensuring a consistent voice and message.
- Collaborate within the Marketing & Communications team to pair copy with strong visuals, and input to other priority projects as required.
Editing & Quality Control
- Proofread and edit donor communications to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with the college ethos and brand guidelines.
- Maintain a consistent, donor-focused tone across all written materials.
Collaboration & Strategy
- Work closely with the members of the Marketing & Communications team to align donor messaging with campaign goals.
- Collaborate with other teams across the college including the Academic, Training and Finance Teams.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years’ professional writing experience, preferably in donor relations and fundraising communications.
- Proven ability to write clear, compelling, and engaging copy and marketing materials for diverse audiences.
- Strong interviewing, research, and storytelling skills.
- Excellent editing and proofreading abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with donor stewardship best practices and fundraising language.
- Experience of producing and tracking fundraising campaigns, tracking impact, reporting and lesson learning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information and engage cross-culturally.
