We are looking to grow our income beyond Trusts and Foundation and diversify our income streams in line with our strategy. We need someone with the passion and track record to tell our story to other audiences, so they want to support Share.
Share is a registered charity and a centre for training and wellbeing. Main responsibilities
- You will build on the excellent foundations laid by the outgoing Community Fundraiser to raise our profile amongst our neighbours and with local organisations
- You will proactively recruit new supporters, build our individual supporter base and develop regular stewardship and communications
- You will offer high-quality relationship management and donor care to supporters including providing fundraising materials, encouragement and support to maximise their fundraising potential, as well as ensuring donors are recognised and thanked for their contribution
- You will develop and deliver fundraising operational plans, ensure good fundraising practice and messaging is embedded throughout the entire organisation.

Job Description
Manage high-value partnerships
- Deliver and grow a portfolio of four and five-figure corporate partnerships, ensuring a first-class stewardship journey that maximises partnership value and delivers on agreed objectives
- Lead on the delivery of partner events and activities that engage our corporate supporters and maximise fundraising opportunities.
Drive new business
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a pipeline of prospective corporate partners, conducting research, making approaches, and securing meetings to drive new business.
- Support the Research & Administration Officer with conducting regular research and analysis of the corporate social responsibility landscape, identifying trends, opportunities, and best practice in the sector.
- Support the development and delivery of creative, innovative, and bespoke partnerships proposals that meet the needs of corporate partners, while aligning with the charity's strategic priorities.
Support our corporate volunteers

Essential skills and experience
- Some experience of working in a fundraising, commercial, or related role.

What the job involves
We're looking for a Workplace Health and Safety Manager to join our vibrant charity. This is a diverse and interesting role. You’ll play a key role in the safe and smooth running of our office, compliance, health and safety as well as facilities administration. As a ‘go to’ Workplace manager at the charity you’ll spend a few days a week working out of our London Office. You’ll be the expert in your field and will help to train and coach others to ensure they meet legal requirements when running fundraising and volunteer events. You’ll have input in developing our Health and Safety policies, risk assessments, and be available to investigate any incidents.
You’ll get to work with a number of colleagues from across the organisation – from supporting the People Team to plan inductions of new starters to helping the Experience Team plan office events.
As a manager, you’ll manage one co-ordinator and the budget for the department. You'll be a key contact with contractors and build our relationship with them. You'll manage processes for ordering supplies, arranging logistics of work from home equipment and purchase orders.
What we want from you
To be successful in this role, you’ll have extensive experience in workplace and health and safety roles or office facilities, supported by a recognised qualification. You’ll also proven experience in developing and implementing effective processes to embed a safe workplace culture.
You’ll be able to work unsupervised and be a creative thinker using your own initiative. This role requires proactivity, problem solving and prioritisation skills.
You’ll interact with lots of different people (internal and external stakeholders) on a daily basis and be an excellent communicator. We are recruiting a Legal Assistant to provide administrative and legal support to PILC’s Gypsy and Traveller Legal Advice project which aims to defend and promote the rights of gypsies and travellers to pursue a nomadic way of life. You will assist our Supervising Solicitor, an expert in gypsy and traveller law, who has represented this underprivileged community over the last 15 years. As well as working on client files, you will liaise with the Legal Aid Agency to ensure their cases receive public funding, making sure documentation is prepared for court hearings, and arranging for experts and other participants to take part in proceedings.
Ideally you will be available to join us from the beginning of September to benefit from a full introduction by the incumbent.
