Job description and person specification
This is an exciting and varied role that encompasses all aspects of our fundraising activity and will support the development of relationships with our individual donors, Trusts and Foundations, Corporate Partners, and Community/Faith Groups. Our ideal candidate will have experience of working in a charity or other related organisation, in a fundraising and / or marketing team, and will bring relevant, transferable experience to apply to this role. You will work closely with the fundraising team to research, steward, and help secure funding and on your own initiative. Your work will play a key role in enabling our mission to help unlock lasting freedom among women who have survived trafficking, exploitation and other forms of violence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of our individual giving programme including the planning and delivery of fundraising appeals and campaigns.
- Ensure donations are promptly acknowledged and recorded on our fundraising database, Donorfy.
- Lead the development of our use of Donorfy to record and report on our fundraising data, and manage donor relationships.
- Support the planning and delivery of key fundraising events including our annual Gala fundraising event.
- Conduct periodic and ad hoc prospect research on previous and prospective funders and identify new funding opportunities under the supervision of the Trusts and Foundations Grants lead.
- Support the Trusts and Foundations Grants lead to maintain a calendar of deadlines and reporting requirements
- Coordinate periodic mail outs to Trusts and Foundations in the small/general category.
- Support the cultivation and stewardship of corporate supporters under the direction of the Head of Fundraising.
- Assist with developing corporate partnership proposals, and other communications including periodic newsletters and social
- Help coordinate volunteer opportunities for our corporate partners
- Provide general admin support for corporate partners and corporate enquiries.
- Build relationships with local community and faith-based groups, providing support and materials for community-led fundraising activities.
- Represent the organisation at relevant events or meetings, when appropriate
- Contribute to team planning, reporting, and income forecasting

We are looking to recruit a Retail Assistant to join our team based at our London site. You will join us on a part-time basis working 988 hours per year on an annualised contract for a fixed term period of 1 year. In return, you will receive a salary of £13,685.93 per annum.

Purpose of the Retail Assistant role:
We are looking to recruit a retail assistant.
You will be part of a customer focused team working across both the museum’s retail outlet and admissions point. The ideal person for this position should have excellent customer service skills and the ability to promote and up-sell products, experiences, and activities to our visitors, have a friendly attitude and the ability to multi-task. Key responsibilities of our Retail Assistant include:
- Providing high standards of customer care through pro-active and re-active engagement with visitors
- Operating commercial experiences, and associated tills
- Maximising commercial experiences revenue by actively promoting the experiences and ensuring the they operate at the appropriate times
- Quickly reporting any commercial experiences issues to the relevant people, including liaising directly with external contractors where appropriate

Main Purpose of the Role
Khulisa, meaning 'nurture' in the Zulu language of South Africa, is an award-winning charity dedicated to providing therapeutic support to young people. We focus on reaching those who are most at risk – young people from deprived communities who are often marginalized, vulnerable to exclusion, and at heightened risk of becoming involved in crime. Our approach centres on safe, exploratory methods that aim to understand behaviour and experiences often rooted in trauma, abuse, and neglect. We deliver intensive therapeutic programs within educational and community settings, empowering young people to confront the underlying causes of their emotional distress and work toward healing. To create lasting, sustainable change, we work to establish trauma-informed environments around young people by equipping parents, caregivers, educators, and other professionals with the tools they need to offer effective, supportive care. Currently, our services are active in London and Manchester.
As the post holder you will be responsible for delivering our front-line work to young people, parents and other adults (professionals). You will work in schools and in community settings across London to generate impact for young people using Khulisa’s trauma-informed approach. This role requires an enhanced DBS check.
The post holder will be required to work from home permanently but be willing and able to easily travel regularly to various locations in London as necessary to fulfil the requirements of the role, to deliver aspects of the programme, and to engage with other stakeholders and colleagues.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Programme Delivery:
· Facilitate the delivery of sessions in our flagship Face It programme and modular workshops to young people, our Nurturing Connections programme for parents and carers, and our trauma training for professionals.
· Facilitate delivery to a high standard in all settings (schools, youth services, and community spaces), ensuring that you are always taking a trauma informed approach.
· Facilitate various youth participation workshops, co-delivering with young people as much as practicable.
· Respond to any questions, disclosures or safeguarding concerns raised during sessions and follow up where necessary with the relevant safeguarding teams or, where consent is secured, make onward referrals for additional support in specific cases.
· Contribute to the continuous development of all aspects of the programmes, sharing new ideas and using best practice.
· Participate in the periodic review and updating of programme contents and/or development of new materials with relevant colleagues, ensuring that materials used across the team are always uniform and consistent.
· Maintain accurate records of programme activities, including record of input, output, and impact as well as demographics data, and support relevant colleagues in ensuring effective monitoring and periodic evaluation and reporting of impact generated.
· Manage relevant budgets and ensure a value for money approach to all expenditure, making sure to keep within budget.
Programme Coordination:
· Take direct responsibility for logistics of individual programme delivery or activity, including scheduling, resourcing, staffing, and liaising with schools and other partners to ensure effective delivery.
· Work with colleagues in Impact and Evidence team to provide programme data as required to effectively demonstrate impact generated through your delivery.
· Where possible during delivery, generate multi-media content for the use of colleagues in communications to use in updating the Khulisa website and for social media.
Stakeholder Management:
· Support the Programmes & Participation Manager in the building and maintenance of strong relationships with delivery partners - schools, community organisations, and other important stakeholders.
· Contribute to any work to use learning from delivery activities to redesign existing programmes and/or develop new pieces of work as required.
· If required, represent Khulisa at events, meetings, and conferences as required etc.
· Support the onboarding and training of Associate Facilitators and volunteers as necessary.
· When required, support the onboarding and training of other permanent programme staff.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
· Objectively review the successes and achievements of each delivery session facilitated against programme or activity objectives, identifying and implementing opportunities for making ongoing improvements.
· To actively deliver all elements of the Khulisa programme, including work with adults and Khulisa’s Young Influencers.
· Depending on experience and qualifications, to be receptive to any other duties as required by the line manager and in line with the needs of Khulisa.
· To develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and other professionals, and to participate in team meetings.
· To participate in personal supervision in accordance with Khulisa’s supervision and performance appraisal policy and attend agreed training as relevant.

The Church is a complex collection of different bodies. Most of the safeguarding work is carried out locally within the 42 dioceses and cathedrals in England. What you'll be doing
The Church of England seeks a committed and collaborative Safeguarding Policy Officer to join the National Safeguarding Team. This role is central to developing, revising, and implementing national safeguarding policies that protect and support all members of the Church community.
Working closely with Safeguarding Policy and Development Leads, you'll ensure policies are grounded in academic research, aligned with legislation and canon law, and informed by survivor experiences and Church-wide learning.
In this role, you will:
- Co-manage the development and roll-out of safeguarding policies, codes of practice and guidance
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including survivors, bishops, Diocesan Safeguarding Officers, and Church bodies
- Ensure policy relevance across dioceses, parishes, cathedrals, religious communities, and theological institutions
- Lead the coordination and improvement of the safeguarding e-manual
- Engage with NCIs departments to embed safeguarding policy into wider initiatives
- Support the NST's learning and review cycle to refine policies over time

You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation to drive engagement, raise our profile, and grow our digital presence through impactful multimedia storytelling. Your work will help bring the voices of children, families and communities to partners and supporters nationwide, placing The Country Trust’s mission at the heart of national conversations about wellbeing, education and tackling the poverty of opportunity.
This role involves travel and occasional overnight stays (with mileage reimbursed) across England and North Wales. While we prioritise public transport use, this is not always feasible. Therefore, a valid driving licence is essential.

Communications & Influence
- Develop and deliver strategic, multi-channel communications that translate complex ideas into compelling messages to increase our influence across media, policy, and partner networks.
Multimedia Storytelling
- Create and deliver impactful, accessible multimedia content that amplifies beneficiary voices, supports advocacy, and aligns with our brand and strategic goals.
Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships
- Develop and tailor impactful communications and materials that strengthen partnerships, engage funders, and support collaborative initiatives with partner organisations.
Press, Media & Digital Oversight
- Support on press and social media communications by managing media relationships, crafting timely content, and optimising outreach to amplify our advocacy and campaigns.

In this role, you’ll ensure the smooth and accurate processing of donations, maintain clear and friendly communication, and resolve queries promptly and effectively. Your work will help build lasting relationships with our supporters and ensure they feel proud to stand with us.
This is an exciting time to join our Supporter Engagement and Operations Unit. You’ll be the person who makes sure every donation, whether it comes through a form, an online platform, or other channels, is processed with care and precision. You’ll also help us stay fully compliant with HMRC Gift Aid regulations and BACS Direct Debit standards, so supporters can give with confidence.
We’re seeking someone who brings:
- Hands-on experience processing offline and online donations across multiple channels
- Strong knowledge of Gift Aid regulations and Direct Debit compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills to keep things running smoothly
- Great communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across the organisation
- Experience using CRM or supporter databases to manage and track supporter interactions
