Key Responsibilities of this role
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing personalised support and group based activities to people accessing our Day Opportunities service in Wandsworth.
- To apply a collegiate approach to deliver strengths based support that maximises independence, knowledge and confidence of those using our services.
- To provide a key point of reference for information and support to those using the services and professionals and carers dependent on it.
- To work from one of our day centres based in Tooting or Southfields and to key work specified individuals and act as a primary contact for the families, carers and other key professionals

The Supporter Donations Queries Team at Macmillan are looking for x2 Supporter Donations Assistants to play their part in helping Macmillan's supporters and stakeholders do whatever it takes for people living with cancer. We have two roles available within our Supporter Donations Queries Team. The Customer Services and Administration team is a dedicated and specialist team who provide all supporters, volunteers, groups, members of the public and internal customers a high level of customer service and support when contacting the charity. As the Customer Services and Administration Manager, managing a team of Customer Service Officers, you will ensure that on a day-to-day basis the team functions efficiently, effectively and delivers excellent customer care service to all supporters, staff and members of the general public. Responsibilities:

The Head of Services - Rough Sleeping is a brand-new role for the organisation and will lead on developing a new internal strategy for young people facing rough sleeping, as well as holding operational oversight of our established youth-specific street outreach function and emergency accommodation hub, both of which are unique in London. You will act as our lead colleague on relationships with the Greater London Authority and London Councils’ rough sleeping teams, working with them to ensure our learning and insights inform policy and ultimately open up access to emergency support for those under 25. Location: Home or office (Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire) working available. This role is available fully remotely.
Hours of work: This role is offered between 15 and 36.25 hours per week. This will be discussed with candidates at the interview.
Contract: This is a temporary position. Because of the uncertainty of the availability of funding, the Company cannot at this stage confirm exactly how long this will be for and cannot guarantee you any minimum or maximum period of employment.

About the role
The Welfare Scheme Assessor will be a part of a small, but committed team with big ambitions that works cohesively and effectively together to get things done.
You’ll be an important and valued member of the team and, with the support of North Lincolnshire Citizens Advice, will be responsible for ensuring client focused outcomes are met in a pressurised environment.
You’ll be the first point of contact for residents applying for support from the welfare assistance scheme. You’ll offer applicants a holistic assessment designed to maximise household income, reduce expenditure and build greater financial wellbeing.
You’ll enable people to move as quickly as possible to problem resolution and to manage their essential needs so they are less likely to fall into debt and manage cost of living increases.
You’ll be responsible for making decisions on applications for financially based welfare support and will administer funds to households who would otherwise struggle to buy food or pay essential utility bills or meet other essential living costs.
You’ll enable people to take control of their financial wellbeing and signpost them to local statutory services and community groups that provide practical, social and emotional support.
