Micro Rainbow is looking for an Individual Giving Manager to create an individual giving and fundraising strategy for the organisation. In this newly created position, you will play a crucial role in nurturing relationships with individual supporters to make a difference to the lives of LGBTQI refugees and asylum seekers in the UK. As Individual Giving Manager you will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to attract, retain, and upgrade Micro Rainbow’s allies (individual donors), ensuring a steady and growing stream of funding and contributing to the sustainability of Micro Rainbow.

The role
Reporting to the Events and Community Fundraising Manager, you will play a key role as part of the Fundraising Team by providing the highest levels of fundraising and event administration support to ensure the provision of seamless, excellent supporter care and assistance to our supporters. Specific fundraising streams will include, but not be limited to, London Marathon, Other Runs and Challenges, Community Fundraising, Special Events and other streams as needed.
Whilst this role is primarily providing administrative and stewardship support for fundraising and event activities, there will be opportunities to be involved with all other aspects of the charity and the development of future fundraising initiatives and events.

Responsibilities
In this position you will:
· Be a primary contact point for our London Marathon runners to provide excellent customer care and increase fundraising potential
· Answer general public and supporter enquiries that come in by telephone, email, social media and WhatsApp groups and mail in a way that makes them feel important and valued regardless of the nature of their enquiry
· Assist with the processing of all income (cash, cheques, online platform donations) correctly into the Donorfy database, and thank or pass to relevant team members for thanking in a timely manner
· Record as necessary enquiries, correspondence and responses on our Donorfy database
· Be a primary point of contact for our Challenge Event fundraisers. Build excellent relationships with them and provide materials and support, liaising before, during and following their activity/event as needed

What the job involves
This is an exciting new role in Prostate Cancer UK’s Health Information and Clinical Support team. The team delivers a wide range of high-quality services directly to anyone affected by prostate cancer or prostate disease, as well as supporting a range of activity charity-wide that requires clinical expertise.
Many men, and their friends and family, don’t know the risk factors of prostate cancer – and when they do, they don’t know what to do next. We want a world where every man over 45 in the UK understands their risk of prostate cancer and has the tools and information to navigate it. Our online risk checker is a good place to start, but this role will be a crucial additional source of information for men and their loved ones.
As a Risk Information Officer, you’ll deliver the charity’s pilot Risk Information Service, providing information and support to men at risk of prostate cancer, and their loved ones, via the telephone. This is a non-clinical role, but you’ll discuss callers’ risk of prostate cancer along the lines of the predominant risk factors (age, ethnicity, family history and BRCA gene status). If necessary, you’ll also support them to seek a PSA blood test from their GP and on occasion routing callers who have more complex clinical questions back to the Specialist Nurse service.
You’ll play a key role in developing the pilot – contributing to conversations and decisions around how to adjust and improve the service in its early months. You’ll also report back on your calls, to help the charity develop its broader understanding of information and support needs when it comes to prostate cancer risk and the PSA blood test.
Reporting into the Clinical Services Senior Officer, you’ll have close and regular contact with assigned Specialist Nurses so that you feel at ease in sharing prostate cancer related information with callers, and in maintaining the boundaries and scope of the service day-to-day.
This is a service pilot with the Risk Information Officer role being a fixed term for the duration, with the potential to make the role permanent based on the pilot’s success.
What we want from you
You’ll be a compassionate and resilient communicator; you may be speaking to a caller who is anxious about their risk of prostate cancer. You’ll be a great listener, hearing callers concerns and offering a supportive and empathetic response. Although this is a non-clinical role, with your existing understanding of the healthcare system in the UK, you’ll be willing to learn the basic knowledge of prostate cancer and use the appropriate associated terminology.
You’ll be comfortable in handling more complex conversations, but with self-awareness to recognise your limitations in offering support and recognising clear boundaries of guidance being provided and be able to direct to our Specialist Nurses when needed.
Experience in using a CRM system will be advantageous in this role and any experience with a helpline or providing support or information over the phone will be beneficial in your role.

In recent years violent crime has risen significantly. Homicides, assaults, robberies and offences involving weapons have all seen sustained growth. We have also seen large increases in violent crime involving children and young people. This is a tragedy. Every child captured in these numbers is an important member of our community and society has a duty to protect them.
The Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) is a charity with a £200m endowment and a mission that matters. We exist to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence. We do this by funding great initiatives, finding what works and working for change – scaling up and spreading the practices that make a difference.
This role and why it’s important
It's critical to our mission that we understand how and why young people become involved in violence. The YEF’s work combines conducting rigorous evaluations and research studies with hearing directly from young people. It is also important to us that young people are central to the messages we share externally.
Your role involves ensuring that young people’s perspectives are heard and integrated into our work. This includes supporting our Youth Advisory Board (YAB) and helping young people’s voices play a central part in YEFs external communications.
This role also supports the wider team managing grants, contracts and providing general team support.

Key Responsibilities:
· Provide timely, accurate and insightful management reports for the directorate, helping to support good decision-making and financial management.
· Lead financial planning processes and collaborate with the Project Management Office (PMO).
· Assess risks, opportunities, and support on business cases for strategic investments.
· Provide line management and support to a Finance Business Partner.
· Ensure financial compliance with regulatory requirements.

The role
As the motion design producer at Breast Cancer Now, you’ll play a key role in helping bring our work to life.
You’ll be creating high quality, engaging content about our life-changing research, campaigning, fundraising, services and health information. And you’ll be part of the multimedia team, where we produce video, photography, motion design and audio that help strengthen our brand and tell our story.
Reporting to the senior multimedia manager, you’ll be producing motion design projects that cover all aspects of the organisation. This includes producing multiple small and large-scale motion projects throughout the year to support major campaigns and projects. Experience of producing long and short-form content with an eye towards social trends is also desirable.
The role may require some work on larger video and photography projects throughout the year to support the wider team, so any skills in video production, video editing or photography would be an advantage.
About you
You’ll have a keen interest in all things motion design and have a good portfolio of work to show this. You’ll be hard-working and highly motivated, with a flexible approach to your work. And you’ll be used to working in a busy team environment and able to work on your own initiative.
Strong communication skills are essential as you’ll be working with teams across the charity, supporters and people affected by breast cancer.
You must have considerable experience using adobe creative suite, particularly after effects, illustrator, photoshop and premiere. Any knowledge of blender or other 3D software would also be welcome.

We’re looking for someone with first level NMC registration, who has a highly specialised knowledge of Parkinson’s, and recent experience of supporting a wide range of people with Parkinson’s from diagnosis to end of life within health and social care settings.
About the role
You’ll provide expert nursing advice, support and information on Parkinson’s and related conditions to people contacting Parkinson’s UK national helpline.
You’ll empower people affected by Parkinson’s, their families, friends and carers to live lives that are as fulfilling as possible whatever that means to them; and that they feel able to take an active role in their treatment and become their own advocate in health and life, wherever possible.
What you’ll do:

Provide expert telephone nursing advice, support and information on Parkinson’s, signposting clients to appropriate internal and external resources as necessary.

Develop and update professional knowledge of all aspects of Parkinson’s and Parkinsonism to ensure that the information and advice provided is accurate and based on best available evidence.

Undertake national helpline work to ensure cover across the helpline’s working hours and in line with guidance and as part of a dedicated team.

Maintain your own knowledge of the work of the charity and other health and social care providers.
What you’ll bring:

Ability to provide information on Parkinson’s medications without prescribing or recommending specific drugs.

Knowledge of the importance of raising safeguarding concerns.
