You will be responsible for the operational delivery of our family accommodation service, including the management of the housekeeping team, and you will ensure that all families receive a warm welcome, and experience first-rate accommodation during their stay.

Key tasks:

Providing a high-quality accommodation experience

· Deliver high-quality accommodation service on a daily basis

· Build and maintain relationships with key staff at each hospital to ensure open communication and alignment to deliver a compliant, safe and high-quality accommodation service

· Undertake daily liaison with key ward/hospital staff to agree allocation of available accommodation

· Work closely with the hospital staff to manage any concerns arising

· Ensure accommodation is allocated in line with the Grand Appeal strategy, policies and procedures

· Provide a warm welcome and induction for guests on arrival and provide ongoing support during their stay

· Regularly review all guest materials to ensure impact and accuracy

The CSA Centre aims to reduce the impact of child sexual abuse through improved prevention and better response, and our work in influencing and shaping policy at local, regional and national level is key to that mission.

As our Policy Manager, you will play an important role in developing and delivering the CSA Centre's policy influencing activities over the immediate and longer term, helping us to ensure that our evidence, learning and resources have the widest possible reach and impact at both local and national level.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with the CSA Centre's Senior Management Team and our multi-agency, multi-disciplinary team, enabling you to draw on expertise from a wide range of different professional backgrounds, and with colleagues from across Government and key stakeholder groups.

Policy activity at the CSA Centre is extremely diverse; in any given week you might find yourself joining (or in many cases leading) discussions with other leading charities to agree a joint influencing plan for new government legislation, meeting with senior civil servants to discuss proposed changes to legislation or guidance, working with the Senior Management Team to develop new policy positions on emerging areas of concern, linking up with our specialist practice improvement advisers or research and evaluation team to consider the policy implications of new CSA Centre initiatives… No two days are the same!

As Policy Manager at the CSA Centre you will play a key role in tackling child sexual abuse, alongside the work of our colleagues across practice, research, communications and training. This is important work - the CSA Centre conservatively estimates that one in ten children will experience some form of child sexual abuse before age of 16, and our ambitious programme seeks to improve the knowledge, skills and confidence of professionals (social workers, teachers, social workers, nurses etc.) in identifying and responding to child sexual abuse. We have already made great progress, but there is much more to be done – and we need your help to do it!

This role is currently funded until 31 March 2026, in line with the current grant funding arrangements for the CSA Centre. This will be reviewed in late 2025, as future funding for the CSA Centre from 2026/27 onwards is clarified.

Although this contract has a permanent status, please be aware that this post is subject to funding currently until March 2026 and therefore should this funding not be extended further, you may be subject to a redundancy consultation or a TUPE arrangement. About the role

This is a hands-on, people-focused role at the heart of our programme delivery. As Programme Manager, you’ll work closely with communities, colleagues, volunteers, and partners to co-create and deliver meaningful programmes that centre on women’s voices and lived experience.

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of projects — from design and facilitation through to coordination, evaluation, and reporting. Casework  

• Respond to concerns and allegations of harm, working with statutory agencies; and protection of those who work with children and vulnerable adults in line of the House of Bishops Guidance.

· A 1-year core psychotherapeutic counselling foundation level training, which also introduces the chosen NHS Talking Therapies modality. Following sign off for readiness, trainees can begin to practice at West London Centre for Counselling with people with mild to moderate depression

· Followed by, a 2-year post-graduate diploma (PGDip) in psychotherapeutic counselling (minimum 120 credits at Level 7)

· A minimum of 450 supervised client hours gained within a NHS Talking Therapies service

· A minimum of 450 training hours (skills and theory)  

· A minimum of 50 personal therapy hours  

· A minimum of 90 minutes of training supervision to every six hours of client work (or the equivalent for group supervision), or 90 minutes per week if they have completed less than six hours of client work in the week

· NHS Talking Therapy services will be responsible for supervision on site, including oversight of case management, clinical governance and management supervision in line with the supervision requirements of the NHS Talking Therapies for anxiety and depression manual.

· An average of two to three days per week of clinical practice in NHS Talking Therapies services

· Individual accreditation (professional registration) with a professional body in line with the NHS Talking Therapies for anxiety and depression manual (see the manual for more details)

integration of refugees. This role is one of the main pillars of the service that ACH provides.

Key Responsibilities

 Completing an initial Pre-Tenancy Assessment for each person referred to the service as
well as developing a personalised plan of support for them ensuring that it is reviewed
regularly
 Giving advice and support on a range of issues including housing, finance, education,
employment, health and immigration, as required.

 Supporting people with budgeting / registering with care providers / creating social
networks / advocacy/ volunteering / training / employment opportunities etc.
 Making internal and external referrals to others services e.g. ACH  or other
relevant external agencies and referral partners as appropriate
 Organising and attending group trips to local places of interest for our tenants
 Developing links with external organisations or agencies to promote the needs of
refugees and create opportunities for partnership working.
 Effectively managing a designated caseload of tenants, as well as keeping accurate
records and maintaining case files to a high standard.
 Fully participating in team meeting, staff meetings, training sessions, supervision and any
other relevant forum or communication processes.
 Organising house meetings and visiting our tenants both at their properties and in the
community
 Making use of CRM Salesforce reports to improve case management
