The role is a full time and permanent position. This role is based at our Bloomsbury campus with flexibility to work from home on an 80/20 basis (80% working from the office).
We are looking for a Commercial Marketing Coordinator to coordinate and support the commercial marketing activity of the Students’ Union. The Union operates multiple commercial services, including bars, cafés, shops and a gym. As the Commercial Marketing Coordinator, you will work with different teams and managers to develop innovative and effective marketing campaigns which are aimed at increasing engagement and revenue in relation to our commercial spaces. The successful candidate will also coordinate the successful delivery of these impactful and creative marketing campaigns across the Union. The role holder will be a brand champion and support departments in the successful application of our brand.

This permanent, full-time role, to which the Circuit has made an initial five-year commitment, is Circuit-wide, but locally based. The person appointed will help lead the development of a Circuit-led New Places for New People (NPNP) initiative for and with young people within the Circuit, which we anticipate will lead to the upscaling of this area of ministry in the medium term.
We are seeking a collaborative self-starter who is able to work in strategically missional ways in order to reach and disciple young people, in enabling them to flourish in every part of their lives. You are likely to hold a degree-level qualification in Theology, or a subject related to this area of ministry. Ideally, this might be a professionally-qualifying JNC award. Applicants not holding a JNC, or equivalent, may still be considered.
A specific faith is an essential requirement for this role and in accordance with the Equality Act, 2010, it is an occupational requirement that the successful candidate is a practising Christian.
The post-holder will have access to office space at The Well Methodist Church, 164 North Road, Darlington, DL1 2EL. However, travel across the Circuit will be required and the post-holder must have access to their own transport. Some evening and weekend work will be required. At least one day will be free from responsibility each week.

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate to supporting women and children who are impacted by domestic violence. You will work closely with victims of domestic abuse from the point of crisis, to provide high quality independent advocacy and support to survivors of domestic abuse at the highest risk and their children.
As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.
