We are looking for a Centre Coordinator to join our team in our South London Centre on a 12-month fixed-term basis. In this role, you will provide a warm and welcoming reception for young people, staff, and visitors over the phone and in person, so if you are approachable, passionate, and non-judgemental, this could be your role.

You will indirectly support young people by ensuring that our Centre operates safely and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing delivery space, facilities compliance and controlling office equipment and supplies. Having previous administrative experience is beneficial but not essential.

To be successful in this role, you must have a good understanding of the challenges young people within our target groups face, to assist them when they arrive in our Centre. In this role no two days are the same, you get to be involved with many different functions of the Trust and interact with everyone who works in the Centre, this is why planning and organisation skills are a must.

About the Role

Every great adventure starts with a great customer experience. As a Customer Experience Coordinator, you'll be the link between our customers and our centres, helping groups find the right experience, supporting them throughout their booking journey, and ensuring everything is in place for an outstanding visit.

Working closely with colleagues across the centre, you'll balance customer needs with operational planning to help deliver safe, high-quality experiences that leave a lasting impression. You'll also be a welcoming face on site, supporting reception and helping customers throughout their visit.

Key Responsibilities as our Customer Experience Coordinator

• Deliver friendly, professional customer service across phone, email, live chat, WhatsApp and social media.
• Support customers from their initial enquiry through to booking, arrival and aftercare.
• Recommend the most suitable experiences based on each group's needs.
• Process bookings, payments and invoices while maintaining accurate customer records.
• Create activity schedules and coordinate bookings with centre teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.

About the role

This new role is to support the growth of Marine Society apprenticeship and adult skills provision. The postholder will work with the Apprenticeship Operations Manager to deliver high quality apprenticeship programmes through providing coordination, monitoring, compliance and support for all learners.

Responsibilities

• Support the Apprenticeship Operations Manager to coordinate delivery of all apprenticeship and adult skills programmes ensuring learners achieve maximum progression and achievement.
• Monitor apprentices’ progress, off the job training and attendance and provided individual support to overcome issues and barriers to learning.
• Implement the new learner management system to provide accurate data and improve visibility of apprenticeship performance. Assist the Lead Maritime Trainer with developing the Google Classroom online portfolio and electronic training record books.
• Assist the Lead Maritime Trainer to prepare for and record online teaching sessions and apprentice progress reviews.
• Plan a programme of personal development and enrichment opportunities for apprentices. Work with external agencies such as the Association of Apprentices to access benefits for apprentices.

Main Purpose of the Role

About the Constitution Society

The Constitution Society is an independent educational foundation founded in 2009. 

We promote public understanding of the UK constitution and work to encourage informed debate between legislators, academics and the public about proposals for constitutional change. We are seeking an organised, proactive and dependable Office Manager to help ensure the smooth running of the Constitution Society. Working closely with the executive team, you will play a central role in the day-to-day administration of the charity. About the Role

People Experience and Operations:

This is a hands-on, varied HR role in a small team where you’ll be involved across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the organisation, helping ensure that our people processes are professional, efficient, and aligned with our values.

You’ll act as a first point of contact for queries, providing clear and professional support on a range of people policies and procedures.

Recruitment Coordination:

Responsible for managing designated vacancies using our Applicant Tracking System, including all stages of the recruitment cycle from advertising to appointment and onboarding.

People Systems, Data & Insight:

You will be proficient in using systems and databases, responsible for maintaining the data in our HR System. You will ensure that individual records are accurate and up to date and produce reports when required.

Projects & Continuous Improvement

You will enjoy project work, and you won’t just be maintaining processes – we’ll be expecting you to look for opportunities to improve them!

Citizens Advice Woking is seeking a Community Outreach Adviser to join our new three-year National Lottery Community Fund project supporting residents in the Canalside area.

This community-based role will provide free, independent and impartial advice on issues including welfare benefits, debt, housing and energy. You will deliver outreach sessions, build strong relationships with local residents, community groups and partner organisations, and help improve access to advice for people who may face barriers to traditional services.

Working closely with South Asian communities and other residents whose first language may not be English, you will help ensure our services are inclusive, accessible and responsive to local needs. George Watson’s College wishes to appoint a Senior Philanthropy Officer to lead the school’s individual giving and legacy fundraising initiatives, and support major programmes and campaigns. Develop strong relationships with donors and our alumni community to grow philanthropic income and long-term engagement. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

Individual Giving 

• Lead the planning, execution and optimisation of individual giving efforts. Manage campaign setup, timelines, assets, and donor experience.  

• Monitor performance and analyse results to drive continuous improvement in participation, engagement, and revenue.  

• Collaborate with Admissions and Marketing, and other internal teams, to source and develop compelling content.  

• Along with the Head of Development, manage a fundraising communications calendar and play a leading role in content creation.  

• Collaborate with the Admissions and Marketing team to ensure website content, landing pages, and donation pages support digital giving goals.  

• Execute fundraising strategies in partnership with the Head of Development. Build, segment, code, and deploy emails to support giving campaigns and organisational priorities.  

• Manage a portfolio of donors linked to specific programmes and campaigns. 

Legacies  

• Plan and deliver multi-channel legacy marketing campaigns (print, digital, events)  

• Build and maintain relationships with legacy pledgers and prospects  

• Deliver high-quality, sensitive stewardship to recognise and retain legacy supporters  

• Organise events and communications to engage legacy supporters  

• Produce compelling and sensitive legacy messaging and materials  

Campaign/Programmes 

• Manage and grow the patrons programme, including recruitment, retention, and upgrades  

• Develop a clear donor journey, including benefits, communications, and recognition  

• Monitor performance against income targets and KPIs  

• Work in collaboration with Heads of the Creative Arts programmes to monitor and administer funds for maximum impact across the arts 

Foundation Places and Enrichment Fund 

• Support impact reporting and administration of discrete aspects of our widening access programmes. 

• Manage application process to the Enrichment Fund, including managing enquiries, disbursements and liaison with Finance. 

• Any other duties related to these programmes as directed by senior staff. 

IDEAL CANDIDATE 

Essential: 

• Relevant degree, professional qualification or equivalent professional experience  

• Demonstrable experience in Individual Giving, Direct Marketing or Legacy fundraising, with an annual income return of 6+ figures  

• Proven track record of delivering successful multi-channel campaigns  

• Strong understanding of supporter journeys, acquisition and retention  

• Skilled in data analysis, performance tracking and forecasting   

• Proficiency with graphic design tools, experience with Canva would be an advantage.  

• Demonstrable experience with Raisers Edge, or similar CRM system 

• Ability to manage complex projects and programs and deliver to set KPI and timelines 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  

• Experience with content writing, brand voice, and digital fundraising best practices.  

• Ability to build and foster relationships across business functions.  

• Understanding of charity law, GDPR and best practices in fundraising  

• Commitment to high level of professional standards  

• Genuine appreciation of George Watson’s College’s mission and the ability to communicate it  

Desirable: 

• Fundraising or marketing qualification such as CIOF accreditation or CIM qualifications. 

• Event management experience  

• Experience of working in the education or charity sectors
