We’re a small but ambitious arts charity on an exciting journey. We are transforming a half-acre industrial heritage site - New River Head Clerkenwell - into the national centre for illustration and a home for Quentin Blake’s archive.
We’re seeking a brilliant person - or people - to join the team as Philanthropy Manager at an exciting time for the Centre with construction about to begin on our new home.
The Philanthropy Manager will secure gifts from Individuals, Trusts and Foundations in the range of £1,000-£50,000+, and will work closely with the Head of Development, Centre Director and Board to steward gifts at the £50,000+ level.
You will be a relationship-focused fundraiser with experience of face-to-face fundraising, excited by the opportunity to play a key part in launching a major new cultural institution. You will use your experience and key moments on the way to opening to refine, refresh and grow our established giving circles. You will also identify and develop new ways that individuals can support the Centre and our programming before we open our doors in February 2026.
You will be an inspiring and committed ambassador for the Centre and its mission, in person and in writing. You will also be a great team-player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues across the Centre to deliver a dynamic and creative programme of donor cultivation and stewardship. About the Role:
This fundraiser will work closely with senior academics in the Humanities Division. The post will focus primarily on funding for posts, scholarships and access and outreach in the academic faculties. An interest and appreciation for the arts and humanities is essential.
To Be Successful You’ll Need:
- To be an experienced development professional with a strong track record of securing major gifts and the ability to secure gifts in the range of £100k-£1m+

Salary:

Key tasks

We are looking for a Corporate Partnerships Manager to support the Head of Membership Engagement in the overall development and delivery of commercial revenue streams at the Chartered Institute of Fundraising. What the job involves
Our sector leading Events and Community fundraising team raises funds (circa £12M) for Prostate Cancer UK through a programme of Community, Sporting Events and Virtual Products, including our flagship walking event, March for Men. Since 2020 the team have experienced income growth of 35%, and we’re proud that our activity has been recognised across the sector, by featuring in the Massive Top 25 for five consecutive years.
Along with recruiting teams in events such as the TCS London Marathon, Great North Run and the London Landmarks Half Marathon, we also deliver two-charity owned cycling events, the Grand Depart Classic and the Big Blue Bike Ride.
In the role of Sporting Events Manager, you’ll lead on the growth strategy and delivery of our flagship walking event; March for Men, with a key focus on co-creating and delivering a robust marketing plan. You'll be accountable for the performance of the event, ensuring that all stakeholders meet their responsibilities and deadlines to drive fundraising income. Your other key focus will be managing and working with an external delivery partner to ensure the event is delivered to the highest possible standard.
In addition to the delivery of March for Men, you’ll support the Assistant Head of Events and Community Fundraising to ensure we maximise income from our Third-Party programme of walking, running and cycling activities, whilst line managing members of the team.
This role will cover all aspects from; developing a strategy, leading project meetings, setting budgets, creating marketing plans, organising event logistics, and delivering event weekend support. Alongside this, you’ll work with other teams within Prostate Cancer UK to support the full calendar of events, including our Partnerships fundraising and Volunteer Engagement team.
Working with our Communications directorate, you’ll ensure that we make the most of every opportunity, from promoting the events to warm and new audiences, identifying and building relationships with our key supporters, to ensuring a high proportion of event participants continue to support us after completing their event.

Fundraising Lead (Part-time, fixed-term contract)
Peers for the Planet (P4P) is the House of Lords cross-party climate and biodiversity action group bringing together over 160 members of the Lords to put climate change and biodiversity loss at the top of the political agenda. Since our launch in 2020 we’ve seen exciting momentum, building cross-party collaboration and winning world-leading legislative changes to embed climate and nature requirements in areas as diverse as financial markets, pensions, energy, health, skills, R&D, built environment and much more.
A combination of seed funding and subsequent grants has enabled the organisation to flourish. Following a successful start-up phase, P4P is established as a valued, trusted and highly effective specialist in the climate policy landscape. Fundraising to support and sustain our objectives for the future is a top priority over the coming year.
Role Profile
We are excited to recruit an experienced fundraiser who will work closely with our Director and our Board of senior Parliamentarians in the House of Lords to meet our ambitious targets. This is our first dedicated fundraising role and is an opportunity for a fundraising specialist with considerable experience of managing relationships with funders and bringing in new funding partners. This could have been as a fundraising manager in a larger institution or as a Director or Head of Fundraising.
Our annual budget is around £700k a year, and the single key priority is to find someone who can help manage the relationships we have with 5-10 existing funders, and research, engage and bring in 5–10 additional funders as part of a funding portfolio, which may include high net worth individuals. We will prioritise those applicants with direct experience of finding and engaging new high value donors/granters. Whilst we welcome interest from candidates with a climate fundraising background, we would also strongly encourage applications from well-connected, dynamic fundraising experts with a strong track record of securing grants and donations in other fields.

Our fundraising lead will have an exceptional track record of securing grants and in developing and operationalising funding strategies. You will be able to think both creatively and strategically, navigating the funder landscape with intelligence and confidence, and will drive fundraising activity forward and coordinate all the necessary processes and systems to enable this to happen effectively and efficiently. You will be a resourceful do-er, using your funder knowledge, financial acumen and communications skills to work both independently and in collaboration with our talented and supportive team. The role will cover:
Fundraising priorities:
- Develop/operationalise a fundraising strategy, leveraging the best return on investment of fundraising activity for the organisation and, where necessary, diversifying funding sources
- Along with the Director and Board, hold responsibility for meeting fundraising targets, including securing a mix of new grants/donors at the £10k-£250k+ level.
- Craft and coordinate compelling funding bids, drawing on the expertise of staff
Managing funder engagement:
- Coordinate a programme of engagement and internal systems/processes needed to nurture and steward a range of current and potential funder/donor relationships
- Work closely with the Board and staff to understand and build on pre-existing relationships with donors, Trustees and senior leaders at relevant trusts and foundations
- Undertake prospect research to identify new potential funders
- Deepen existing connections with the broader fundraising community, both within the climate/nature funders community but also in related/overlapping sectors
- Work with the Policy and Communications Lead to ensure that P4P’s organisational comms are compelling and meaningful for a broad spectrum of potential grant makers or donors
- Organise fundraising events
Insight & opportunity:
- Maintain latest insights on trends and issues, as well as on specific grant opportunities and other potential income streams, both in the climate funding sector and related/overlapping policy areas (health, finance, science, skills etc)
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the opportunities for P4P to drive positive change for climate and nature in order to identify new funding opportunities
Operations & finance:
- In collaboration with our Finance and Operations Manager, develop and maintain a thorough understanding of organisational budgets, funding gaps, resourcing requirements, and income targets in the short, medium and long term
- Coordinate reporting and monitoring for all grants and lead on maintaining our funder database
- Set up and lead the preparation (e.g. briefings) for meetings with current and potential funders, and ensure timely follow up
- Lead internal fundraising meetings with relevant colleagues/directors to support development, implementation and evaluation of our fundraising plans
- Take responsibility for internal training to embed fundraising skills across the team
Skills and experience
- Long-term experience of developing and delivering fundraising strategies and functions with an established track record of meeting fundraising goals
- Good knowledge of the funding landscape across a range of geographies and sectors, which may include climate and nature but also other subject fields that may intersect with or complement these

About the charity: Cavernomas look like raspberries and are found in the brain and spinal cord. They're formed of abnormal blood vessels with thin leaky walls, which can bleed at any age without warning. 1 in 625 people are thought to have a cavernoma, and whilst most people won't experience symptoms 1 in 2,700 do. Symptoms can include haemorrhages, seizures and other neurological problems. Treatment involves 'wait and see', neurosurgery or stereotactic radiosurgery; with no medications currently available.

About the roles: The Member Support Assistant is responsible for assisting our Volunteer Manager with administration relating to the support of the charity’s 4,000 members and volunteers. The Supporter Development team is made up of the Fundraising and Engagement Leads and Officer, and is led by the Supporter Development Manager. The team works alongside our Supporter Care and Connection teams, and Communications Department to deliver a fantastic and rewarding supporter experience. The team’s scope includes regular giving income, appeals, legacies, fundraising events, festivals, sponsored events, supporter campaigning and supporter experience. We have incredible and committed supporters including over 28,000 Life Changers, who give to us on a monthly basis.
Purpose
The Fundraising & Engagement Leads plan and deliver a portfolio of programmes and projects aimed at growing income and deepening relationships with our supporters. The Fundraising and Engagement Leads has strategic ownership for key areas of fundraising. They work with the Supporter Development Manager to set strategic direction for that area, creating annual plans that will deliver our objectives and key results, and monitoring and evaluating results. They work cross organisationally, creating strategies and projects that align with CAPs vision and integrated messaging. The Associate Director of Local Fundraising is a senior role within the Income, Innovation and Engagement directorate; a highly ambitious and professional team which is working to grow income and strengthen the organisation’s voice across the UK as the leading end of life care charity in the UK. Marie Curie has ambitious financial growth targets and needs to drive net contribution, engagement and awareness if they are to achieve their fundraising ambitions and subsequently their service growth goals.
The primary focus of the role is to maximise the net contribution from local fundraising but also to drive community awareness and engagement with Marie Curie. This is a key role for Marie Curie, responsible for managing a team of over 100 people and having responsibility for over £20 million Income, the recruitment of legacy prospects, the delivery of fundraising events and the strategic approach of supporter facing volunteers.

We have an incredible 28,000 regular givers, our Life Changers, who make possible all the incredible work that churches do to free our clients from debt! As the Regular Giving Lead you will develop a strategy to grow the number of Life Changers by finding new audiences and creating innovative products to reach them. You will make effective use of data, and testing, learning, and evaluating your ideas.
You will work alongside other members of the Supporter Development team which delivers direct mail appeals, digital engagement, supporter journeys, partnership opportunities, church fundraising, and other creative and effective means of engagement. As part of the Supporter Development team you will collaborate with colleagues to sharpen and support all of our projects so that we can achieve the best results.

You can join the team at a junior grade (minimum full time salary £26,664.75) while you are mentored and undertake the Certificate in Fundraising from the Institute of Fundraising, stepping up to the next grade once you have achieved the qualification and experience level.

About the Role
Located in Bath, this is a busy shop in a brilliant location, with a vibrant community! Our shop is in the Artisan quarter of Bath, which is full of eclectic & characterful independent's offering everything from vintage clothes to designer homewares, along with contemporary bars & restaurant's.
As Shop Manager, you'll be leading the volunteer team, as well as focusing on further recruitment to grow our volunteer team and building strong connections within the local community to ensure the shop's continued success.
About You
- You will be someone with exceptional people skills, a leader who understands the importance of community and enjoys supporting people to exercise similar passions through volunteering.
- Proven experience leading and motivating teams, ideally having managed volunteers, or a staff team previously.
- A strong understanding of what good looks like in a busy and fast paced customer driven environment, ideally with some experience within Retail or a clear passion for sustainable fashion and knowledge of products and trends.
- A can-do attitude and ability to approach challenges in a positive way, knowing when to reach out for support and guidance where you need it.
- Previous charity retail experience is ideal, but not essential. If you have transferable leadership skills or experience managing a team in other settings and are looking for a new challenge, we'd love to hear from you!

Ways of Working: On-site – this role will be based in the Bath shop. We're looking for someone able to work 4 days (28 hours) per week to include some weekend working.

Ways of Working:
The majority of our roles can be performed remotely in the UK, but there are likely to be times when you will be required to come to your contracted office (up to 2-4 days per month or 6-8 days per quarter). Please note: travel costs to your contracted office will be at your own expense.
