The Head of Funding and Engagement role:
Coeliac UK is looking for a skilled and motivated Head of Funding and Engagement to support the operations, financial stability and growth of the International Society for the Study of Celiac Disease (ISSCD). As Head of Funding and Engagement, you will support the ISSCD’s mission of promoting scientific knowledge, education and quality of care in the field of coeliac disease. This role is interesting and varied, and if you are interested in funding research and have experience working in or with charities, we would like to hear from you.
Key responsibilities of the Head of Funding and Engagement:
- Seeking and sourcing funding to secure financial stability and enable growth of the ISSCD
- Seeking and sourcing sponsorship for the ISSCD’s flagship biennial event the International Celiac Disease Symposium
- Providing advice and supporting to the ISSCD committees to secure funding
- Identifying and establishing a network of key stakeholders to assist the ISSCD in achieving its objectives
- Managing the ISSCD’s website content and updates
- Managing and expand the ISSCD’s social media channels and maintain a schedule of activities to increase engagement
- Processing ISSCD invoices, grants and expense claims in collaboration with the ISSCD Treasurer and the approval of the ISSCD Executive

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience required for the Head of Funding and Engagement:

Energy Action Redhill and Reigate (EARR) is dedicated to improving home energy efficiency across East Surrey. We work to improve the sustainability of homes, as well as making them healthier to live in and more economical to run.
We are seeking an organised and self-motivated Project Coordinator to join our Home Energy Advice Team. You will play a key role in co-ordinating a programme of home energy surveys, distribution of energy efficiency materials and helping to deliver a series of events. The post is funded through an Energy Redress grant and is part of the Surrey-wide HEAT programme, working in partnership with other voluntary organisations across Surrey.
As Project Coordinator you will play a key role in
- scheduling home energy surveys and follow up support
- liaising with residents, volunteers, and local partners
- planning and promoting community events
- monitoring and reporting on project progress and impact
Location: The role is home based; however, travel across Reigate & Banstead and Tandridge will be required to support events and home surveys.
Hours: 736 hours per year (average 16 hours per week over 46 weeks - you can manage the hours worked to suit yourself and the project. Demand for the survey service is seasonal and it is anticipated more hours will be needed over the Winter months, with fewer hours in the Summer.
Dates: Start from 23 September 2025 or earliest available date following this. This is a fixed-term contract until 30 April 2027
Salary: £25 per hour (3% uplift from May 2026) Please note this role to be undertaken on a self-employed consultancy basis.

Our coders have developed thousands of question generators that need to be tested to ensure they work as intended; we also upload real GCSE and A level questions that need to maintain fidelity to the real thing while being translated into an online environment. You’ll be testing these questions, finding ways to break them, working out where equivalents don’t work when they should - or shouldn’t - using your mathematical knowledge in a unique way.

Customer support. We receive around a dozen emails to our support inbox each day from teachers and students who need help with account management and users who’ve spotted something that’s broken. We’re seeking someone who can efficiently problem solve account issues and act as a detective: working out how to replicate an issue a user is having, effectively document it, and pass it onto our devs to fix.

Social media administration. Jamie might be the face of our social media channels it couldn’t happen without support around the edges. That includes captioning/transcription, adding titles and descriptions, and using our site tooling to link videos to our platform. Some of this is routine, but some requires judgement and social media nous, like deciding on what makes for an effective caption.
Beyond these duties, we intend on making the most of the appointee’s strengths to delve deeper into at least one of these areas with dedicated projects to be presented to the management team. That might be presenting a big-picture vision of how we can increase fidelity to real exam questions in an online environment, or experimenting with AI supportdesk tools to respond to queries, or designing a social media content strategy that aligns with our goals – all areas that aren’t urgent to fix, but have high potential to make a difference. Scope of role
The post holder will undertake casework, assisting clients to access their entitlements to welfare benefits and other sources of financial help. Advice will be delivered through a range of channels, including face-to-face, telephone, email, and other means, provide Welfare Benefits advice and information to people living with cancer and their families.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Case work
- Provide a full welfare benefits casework service for people affected by cancer. This includes disability benefits and other sources of financial support, such as grants and help with health and travel costs.
Welfare Benefit Appeals
- Assist clients to prepare for benefits appeals, research, and the draft was written legal submissions, and provide representation at tribunals as required.
Outreach
- Alongside other team members provide advice sessions through outreach, including at hospitals - currently St Bartholomews, Homerton, Royal London, Newham, and Whipps Cross; and at Toynbee Hall through telephone, email, and any other channel
Targets
• Meet targets as set with the line manager, which will change regularly depending on the needs of the services.
Quality Standard
- Ensure consistent quality assured advice, to AQS standard, monitored by checking casework and observations
- Maintain thorough and detailed case records for continuity of casework, information retrieval, statistical monitoring, and report preparation
- Use all relevant case management systems, such as Advice Pro, as well as Microsoft Office applications, for statistical recording, record keeping, and document production. Ensure all work conforms to Toynbee Hall’s systems and procedures.
- Along with the rest of the team ensure stocks of leaflets, posters, and stationary, are ordered from suppliers and distributed to outreach locations

- Support Macmillan Toynbee Hall Welfare Rights Advice Service’s social policy work by providing case studies and feedback on issues of concern to people affected by cancer; including attending internal and appropriate external meetings, and identifying and acting upon social policy issues
Essential Criteria:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Recent Welfare Benefits advice work experience, particularly in the areas of health and disability, with at least one year’s specialist welfare benefits casework experience.
- Ability to write detailed accurate case records and drafts, letters reports, and statements in plain English.
- Recent experiences of working in a performance-driven environment and evidence of meeting targets set.
- An ordered and disciplined approach to managing a challenging caseload, meeting targets; planning and prioritising work in the face of competing demands on your time.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with clients suffering from health problems in a professional but empathetic manner, and the ability to respond sensitively to clients.
- An understanding of the issues facing people affected by long-term illness and disability, including cancer.

Main Purpose of the Role:
To be responsible for the implementation and day to day project management of the individual giving programme across both existing and new fundraising products, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, members, volunteers and internal teams across Mothers’ Union to ensure the success of the appeals. As part of a small team you will be working closely with and under the direction of the Head of Individual Giving.
Key Responsibilities:
- To project manage multiple appeals delivering accurate campaigns on time, on budget to a high standard, meeting agreed targets.
- Analyse and interpret direct marketing campaign results, and produce regular reports, drawing conclusions, completing campaign reviews and making recommendations to improve future activity such as targeting and testing suggestions to improve performance of the programme and feed into longer term strategic plans.

- Write or amend existing copy and proof-read accurately. Critique, manage and evaluate work by external or internal agencies to a high standard and high level of accuracy
- Lead contact for our face to face fundraising activity, from briefing, monitoring and reconciliation to delivering training and fulfilling requests, including coordination of visits to Mother's Union projects
- Lead on any challenge events or wider individual DIY fundraising or organisational income generating events as assigned, meeting agreed targets set by the Head of Individual Giving.
- Monitoring, managing and reporting of key KPIs including campaign income, spend and other performance metrics on a regular basis. Reporting to the Head of Individual Giving, highlighting variances and updating fundraising team reports making sure information is accurate and reconciled where necessary.
- Designing and delivering targeted training programmes for groups of fundraisers or members on behalf of Mothers’ Union as well as providing effective one-to-one campaign support as required.

Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern
This role will be based at our Head Office in central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 90 days includes anchor Tuesdays. In addition, Thursday is a core working day where part time staff are expected to work, either at home or from the office as needed.

Role Purpose
You will be responsible for building and maintaining partnerships with hyperlocal, local, and national businesses, stewarding the organisations to become Mustard Tree’s partners, and for us to be their ‘Charity of the Year’, donating to and fundraising for the charity.
You will manage an existing caseload of these valued partners, with the opportunity to proactively create new relationships and partnerships, contacting through multiple channels, creating content, and hosting, touring, and presenting to businesses.
In addition to corporate partnerships, you will manage the recruitment and stewardship of Mustard Tree’s events fundraisers, being responsible for the administration, making sure all places are filled, planning the events, and helping all participants hit their fundraising targets.
Main Duties
Corporate Partnership
- Steward a cohort of existing Corporate Partners through email updates, calls, social media activity and booking monthly check-ins, as well as sharing infographics, case studies, events information, and newsletters when useful.
- Proactively build new relationships, ultimately securing new donors, partners, and ‘Charity of the Year’ organisations. Make it clear and easy for donors to understand what we do, how they can help, and the impact they will have.
- Host, tour, or present at a minimum of four organisations per week.
- Manage inquiries, emails, and queries relating to partnerships, corporate donations, volunteering, and events, ensuring timely responses.
- Manage the partnership inbox and work with the Fundraising team on our corporate bookings calendar.
- Work with the Fundraising and Volunteer Coordinator to plan and book Social Value Days for partners and prospective partners.
- Collaborate with the Fundraising and Communications team to develop and publish copy, advertisements, social media content, and create WordPress pages relevant to Corporate Partnership and Events.
- Host Corporate Partners for their volunteering inductions and debriefs and follow up with a thank-you email the same week.
- Manage data entry and administration surrounding partnerships, including communication, contacts, setting targets, and funds raised, through software and our CRM, for example.

Events Fundraising
- Manage our existing events portfolio of The Great Manchester Run, Tough Mudder, Trafford Abseil, October Half Marathon, being responsible for their success.
- Investigate and develop new events to complement our 12-month calendar.
- Empower organisations to plan independent fundraising events and create a fundraising toolkit to support this.
- Support the running of our October Fundraising Dinner
- Work with the Fundraising Manager to project events income and build a 12-month fundraising pipeline.
General Duties
- Supporting the Fundraising Team et al, including administration, cover, and events attendance when required.
- Support the Fundraising & Finance Teams with data entry, CRM updates, and the creation of KPI data when required.

Role Summary
An exciting opportunity to join Into Film and lead on the production of all audio-visual content for the UK’s foremost film education charity. Overseeing an in-house production team of six, the Production Lead will work closely with colleagues from across the organisation to identify, develop and deliver an exciting and wide range of content for classroom resources, social media channels and the Into Film website.
The role is initially available for a fixed term through to 31st March 2026, but may become permanent pending continuation of funding.

About the role
This role sits within The Passage Housing Needs Service (HNS) team. It will provide brief interventions to support individuals who have been placed into accommodation by the HNS team to settle into and sustain their tenancies. The post holder will work holistically to assist individuals to address issues that are impacting on their ability to sustain their accommodation on a time limited basis and will link them into services in their local areas for ongoing support in order for them to gain independence and integrate into their new communities.

BACKGROUND
Church of England Birmingham (CofEB) is on a journey of growing churches at the heart of every community. Through this we are seeing growth in many exciting ways. Financially we are at a challenging point. We have had an operational deficit for a number of years and this cannot continue. There are current conversations happening with the National Church around how we get to a sustainable platform through partnership. One key aspect of this is for us to increase our Common Fund returns (the giving from our parishes that supports the costs of our life together). We are taking a radical new approach to our finances which includes intentional reallocation of income to support the costs in our most economically deprived parishes and deeper relationships with each parish around finance through conversation rather than correspondence. Over the next five years we are hoping to be able to move to a financially sustainable platform which will enable us to better serve our communities in the future.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We need a Head of Generosity to lead the team, and project, that will focus on developing long term relationships with all of our parishes leading to:
- Greater support for our parishes.
- Increased generosity by, and within, our parishes.
- Increased Common Fund.
A steering Group has been established, which the Head of Generosity will be a part of, to plan, design and implement the activities needed to deliver our vision. Through partnership with the National Church we are expecting that there will be four members of this Generosity Team.
This role, and the team, will need to work closely with Archdeacons and Area Deans, Directors of Mission, Ministry and Finance (and their teams), the Head of Communications and many others. We have one strategy and this is a part of that so needs to link well with all other parts.
The Head of Generosity will also be Bishops Advisor for Common Fund. Bishop Michael is passionate about supporting our parishes and seeing Common Fund increase and this role will both channel his desire to parishes and help reflect what is learnt back to the Bishop as we progress.
The post holder will have the support of the National Giving Team who have extensive experience and resources to support those responsible for giving and generosity. They will also be given access to a strong and growing national network of people in similar roles. Their experience has proven invaluable to people in roles similar to this, building on best practice and learning from others across 41 Dioceses.
The role will have the following key responsibilities:
- Support in the recruitment and the establishment of the Generosity Team.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the members of the Generosity Team.
- Support the delivery design of this project and deliver the actions agreed by the Steering Group.
- Lead on Parish engagement across all areas of generosity, including the spiritual / theological nature.
- Appropriately discern and allocate team members to support different phases of the process and the different and wide-ranging developmental needs of parishes.
Through the team:
- Create a bespoke multi year plan for Common Fund with every parish with key stakeholders including Archdeacons.
- Provide consultancy, resources, and hands-on support to parishes to grow regular giving, legacies, and other forms of financial support. This work will be able to draw on the resources developed by the national church as well as the data held on their Cornerstone Platform. The post-holder will be expected to engage in the work of the National Giving Team as part of the development of these wider resources.
- Develop and deliver training for clergy, lay leaders and PCCs, on financial management and giving and generosity with the Ministry team.
- Encourage and assist parishes in the implementation of the Parish Giving Scheme, introduction of contactless giving mechanisms and related diocesan initiatives.
- Source, develop and curate practical resources (digital and print) to support local stewardship campaigns and initiatives.
- Evaluate the impact of stewardship and generosity initiatives and adapt strategies accordingly to achieve the project outcomes.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Hours: Full-time 35 hours (5 days) per week. Weekend and evening work will be required, for which the equivalent time may be taken back from standard working hours. This is a hugely exciting time for the Public Chairs’ Forum (PCF) and Association of Chief Executives (ACE) as we seek to assign someone to take up this national role and lead the Secretariat for the next two years.
The Secretary leads the Secretariat in driving membership and diversifying income sources for our two unique networks of public body leaders and ensuring members receive an outstanding membership experience. The Secretary will help us to celebrate our member’s achievements as part of our 20th anniversary in 2026/27.

Supported by our ambitious and highly-respected boards, we’re growing our membership networks and partnership opportunities as we expand our offering and reach with our new annual programmes bringing insight, support and inspiration for executives and non-executives of UK public bodies.
You will work with some of the most prominent figures in UK public and civil service. You will bring experience of developing and shaping engagement with leadership, with the energy to continue to nurture and grow this organisation, bringing its diverse membership with you.
It’s likely that you’ll be familiar with public bodies, but that’s not what’s really important. If you’re experienced at shaping events and developing leadership programmes, perhaps you’re also creative, tenacious and entrepreneurial, then we’d love to hear from you.
