Age UK Redbridge, Barking and Havering offers a Dementia Advice Service providing high quality information, advice, guidance and support to people with dementia and their Carers throughout their journey living with dementia with a particular focus on moderate to late stages.
We are currently recruiting a Dementia Adviser in Redbridge to work in partnership with the London Borough of Redbridge and other Redbridge Dementia Partners. You will have an understanding of the needs of people with dementia and their carers either through professional or personal experience. You will have a key role in supporting people with dementia at various stages and encouraging people concerned about their memory to seek advice and assist them to access appropriate support to maintain their independence, enhance life choices and plan for the future. You will also help to develop coping strategies via support planning. This will include signposting and active referrals to relevant services as well as providing information on benefits available and assisting clients to access them where appropriate through various stages of their dementia journey. Provide community based, face to face services for an increased level of support for more complex cases.
This role requires the worker to work independently and manage their own caseload but be part of the wider team and be aware of the other services provided by Age UK Redbridge, Barking & Havering. The post involves both office based, home visit and outreach work at a variety of locations across Redbridge. Good IT skills are required and familiarity with Charity Log would be useful as well as knowledge of relevant quality assurance systems.

About the Role
- Located at a 24-hour supported housing service in Clapham, we provide high quality self-contained accmmodation for 15 women who have experienced homelessness and multiple disadvantage.
- The aim of the service is to provide a therapeutic environment in which women feel safe and can flourish, enabling them to move on into independent, permanent accommodation. The accommodation also includes overnight safe spaces.
- In this role, you will provide direct support to all the women, as well as holding a small case load of residents who you will keywork.
- You will work closely with support workers and the in-house psychologist.
- You will model person-led, psychological, gender, and culturally informed support, will be skilled at building trust and you will be a great team player.
- The post holder will undertake 8-hour shifts, normally Monday to Friday but with flexibility for weekend working, covering the hours 8am to 8pm. This is a 1 year fixed term contract.

The role
Global Greengrants Fund UK is looking to hire an energetic and passionate individual who will play a key role in collaborating across teams to support the Executive Director and senior leadership team to become more effective and strategic in their work. They will provide support to the leadership and governance of the organisation, working closely with the Executive Director, Director of Philanthropic Partnerships, Director of Finance and Operations and other team members as required to provide high-quality administrative and communications support to the organisation. The Executive Administrator will build strong relationships across GGF’s global team. The candidate profile.
The successful applicant will have significant relevant experience in a similar role in a charitable, environmental, development, and/or grant-making organisation. They demonstrate knowledge and experience in charity/nonprofit administrative and organisational skills, and the ability to ensure accuracy of work and demonstrate precise attention to detail. They have experience dealing with administrative processes and office administration, especially in a non-profit, remote organisation. They will have skills to give, receive and work with feedback constructively. They must be meticulous with exceptionally strong follow-up and follow-through skills and have the ability to work under high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines. They should have excellent interpersonal understanding, relationship building, and interpersonal skills to build strong alliances with diverse constituencies with experience working with diverse communities from multiple identities across the globe, in a virtual environment.
They also thrive in a virtual environment, motivated to take on challenges and collaboratively find innovative and creative solutions.
English fluency is a must.

As Together Through Homelessness Coordinator, you’ll:
- deal with enquiries from a variety of key stakeholders, to contribute to the successful day-to-day delivery of our vet scheme,
- support dog owners who are experiencing homelessness to register their dogs on the scheme, and signpost them to other support services sensitively and tactfully,
- carry out key processes to ensure the efficient running of our schemes, from checking microchip details to discussing complex cases with our Vet team,
- ensure administration processes are completed efficiently, keeping accurate records at all times.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you’ll need some experience of supporting people in vulnerable situations or personal crisis, including having challenging conversations. You'll also need excellent interpersonal skills, combined with experience in customer service to ensure all individuals accessing our services have a positive experience, and be empathetic, compassionate, and resilient. New Horizon Youth Centre has been commissioned by the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) as part of an Alliance with Safer London, St Giles Trust and the Anna Freud Centre to deliver on their Children and Young People’s Violence and Exploitation and Reduction support service. About the Role
- Located at a 24-hour supported housing service in Clapham, we provide high quality self-contained accommodation for 15 women who have experienced homelessness and multiple disadvantage.
- The aim of the service is to provide a therapeutic environment in which women feel safe and can flourish, enabling them to move on into independent, permanent accommodation. The accommodation also includes overnight safe spaces.
- In this role, you will provide support to all the women, including running co-designed activities and accompanying women to appointments. You will work closely with Specialist Support Workers who manage individual resident support and safety plans.
- You will model person-led, psychological, gender, and culturally informed support, will be skilled at building trust and you will be a great team player.
- The post holder will undertake 8-hour shifts on a 7-day rota, covering the hours 8am to 8pm. Please be aware that the building has several floors and no lifts.
Salary: £28,377

- This is a waking night support role, undertaking 12 hour shifts alongside concierge, 8pm to 8am every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. Please be aware that the building has several floors and no lifts.

Position: Senior Grant and Trust Fundraiser

The Role
You will be instrumental in securing the funding, which the organisation needs to continue to deliver and develop its services, across a wide range of functions and projects. You will be an entrepreneurial, knowledgeable fundraiser, adept at finding the right opportunities to fit the right projects. You will also be meticulous and organised in your approach to stewardship, maintaining contact with funders and working with colleagues to collate the information needed for reporting.
The fundraising strategy contains plans to further develop specific areas of fundraising such as individual giving, corporate partnerships and legacies, and you may be called upon to support the Head of Fundraising in putting plans together for the implementation of these, working alongside the Senior Administrator (Fundraising and Communications).
About You
You will have experience in a fundraising, philanthropy or relationship management role and a track record of success in securing at least five-figure donations from grant and trust funders.
You will have:
· Knowledge of digital fundraising approaches
· Outstanding writing and communication skills
· The ability to understand financial language and budgets
· Strong research and prospecting skills
· The capacity to build excellent relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally
· Experience of measuring impact and delivering evaluation reports
You will be asked to submit a one-page covering letter and your CV.

A daily lunch service is at the heart of our day-centre delivery for young people experiencing homelessness. For many of our young people, lunch is their only hot, nutritious meal of the day. We are looking for a passionate Chef to work independently in our kitchen to deliver a daily meal for up to 100 young people, staff and volunteers. You will have responsibility for planning, preparing and serving food that makes a real difference to people's lives. You will need to have experience of catering to large numbers and managing professional kitchen paperwork, and the drive to maintain high food hygiene standards.
