High Trees Community Development Trust is seeking an experienced and passionate Head of Children, Young People & Families (CYPF) to join our senior management team and lead one of our core service areas.

This is an exciting opportunity to oversee a wide-ranging CYPF service that directly supports over 400 children and young people each year, and many more through partnerships. You will lead the newly redeveloped Tulse Hill Adventure Playground, ensuring it thrives as a hub for children, young people and families, alongside a portfolio of impactful programmes including school-based mentoring, young leaders’ programmes, family stay-and-play, and peer-led social action.

Supported by our Adventure Playground Manager and a team of youth and play workers, this is an incredibly exciting time for the service – the newly built structures, alongside a small animal area and a growing area, are ready to build an ambitious service around that meets the needs and interests of local children and families.

High Trees is also the lead partner in Building Young Brixton (BYB) – a consortium of 10 youth organisations working with 2,000 young people across Lambeth – which you will coordinate, alongside contributing to the Lambeth Peer Action Collective.

Our Head of CYPF plays a key leadership role that combines strategic oversight with hands-on involvement. You will bring significant experience in youth or community work, with the skills to manage multifaceted services, lead teams, and build strong partnerships with local organisations, schools and statutory bodies. By working closely with our team and partners, you will help ensure that children and young people in Lambeth have the opportunities and support they need to thrive.

What does this role do?
As Head of International High Value Fundraising, you'll:

• lead the International High Value Fundraising team, providing direction and day-to-day leadership to inspire and support the team in cultivating transformational giving. Motivate and empower colleagues to unlock major opportunities in the United States and strengthen our approach in other regions.
• partner with other fundraising teams across Dogs Trust and our international partners, World Veterinary Service and Mission Rabies, to enhance and align global philanthropy strategies. Identify and pilot innovative approaches to generating significant new income and building long-term, sustainable partnerships.
• personally manage a portfolio of high- and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and major donors, leading on all aspects of relationship management, from prospect identification and tailored proposal development to bespoke stewardship and long-term engagement that secures six-, seven-, and eight-figure gifts,
• represent Dogs Trust internationally, strengthening our global profile and cultivating relationships that increase awareness of, and secure substantial philanthropic support for, our international programmes.

This role is being offered as a fixed term, family leave cover role until January 2027. Interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled for Friday 21st November 2025, however, we may invite suitable candidates to interview for the role sooner. Interviews will take place on Teams.

To be successful in this role, you’ll be a dynamic, innovative senior fundraiser, with a breadth of experience across different fundraising modalities in the international context, ideally with some experience of setting up a new function. Combat Stress is the UK’s leading mental health charity for veterans. For over a century we’ve been helping former service personnel deal with issues like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety and depression. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Business and Service Development Team at Dementia UK as a Regional Account Manager, where you’ll play a vital role in our strategy plans in managing and expanding Admiral Nursing Services across health and social care settings throughout the UK.

We are looking for you to bring substantial experience in partnership development, account management, and project management. Having previous experience in the health and social care sector is essential, along with an understanding of government policies related to older people’s mental health, carers, and dementia.

This is a remote role, with occasional travel across the South West region, including Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire, to attend meetings and engage with key stakeholders. Ideally, you will be based within this area, willing and able to travel.

Platform’s North Sea Workers’ Transition project is building towards a managed phase-out of oil and gas extraction in the UK North Sea. We’re organising for an energy industry that protects the rights and livelihoods of the current oil and gas workforce and directs wealth back to communities, especially those impacted by industrial change.

We have been working with offshore oil and gas workers and their unions for 5+ years. In 2023, we published a groundbreaking set of 10 demands for a just energy transition away from fossil fuels co-created with offshore workers: Our Power: offshore workers’ demands for a just energy transition. Since publishing the report we have launched public advocacy and media campaigns based on these demands - working alongside industrial trade unions, national and grassroots climate groups, and oil and gas workers. We coordinate a first-of-its-kind coalition of industrial unions and climate groups working together on national worker transition demands.

As living conditions continue to decline and the climate crisis deepens, we are looking for a motivated and creative campaigner, who is able to lead the next stage of the project, and who has a strong understanding of anti-oppression and energy justice.

About the role

The Worker Transition Campaigns Manager will work closely with our Worker Organiser and Public and Community Ownership Campaigner, supported by our Organising and Advocacy Lead, Research Lead and Communications Lead.

You will be responsible for strategising, project managing and delivering the project. Activities will look like:

• Coordinating an existing coalition of climate groups and trade unions, including holding relationships with a wide range of key stakeholders across movements;
• Developing and delivering political advocacy and public campaigns strategies to win Our Power demands - including public ownership of energy - at a UK and Scottish Government level;
• Supporting the work of Platform’s Worker Organiser(s) to build links with energy workers and involve them in media, political meetings and/or campaigning activities.

This post would sit within Platform’s internal collective management structure and would therefore be expected to support the collective management of the organisation in addition to finance and fundraising-related responsibilities. This includes line managing 1-2 staff members after the 6 month probation period and attending collective management meetings. 

Role Details

Hours: 4 days (32 hours) based on a 40 hour work week (5 x 8 hour days including a 1hr lunch break).

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £36,824.41 for 4 days (32 hours) per week (£46,030.51 FTE) is our baseline salary, adjustable according to our Socially Just Waging System. Terms and conditions apply.

About the Role

This exciting Fundraising and Engagement Manager role will work with The Income Generation Manager, The Fundraising and Communications Team and the Senior Leadership teams to ensure that the delivery of Mind BLMK’s current and future offer of fundraising and engagement are effectively planned, developed, and implemented. As the Fundraising and Engagement Manager you will be responsible for supporting the growth of unrestricted income across individual and major donor as well as managing our corporate, and community fundraising.

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of fundraising and engagement activities incorporating culture for sustainability and growth for the organisation. You will create and deliver inspiring campaigns, optimise donor journeys, and ensure excellent supporter stewardship. The role includes responsibility for team leadership, with a focus on generating new income streams and maintaining compliance. You will have strong communication and data skills in helping drive the charity’s positive impact for Mind BLMK’s businesses and communities.

As the Fundraising and Engagement Manager you will support, develop and direct colleagues within the fundraising and engagement team leading on a range of activities and ensure that fundraising ideas and events are high profile and will generate funds. You will be able to reach fundraising targets and have a proven track record of tools used in fundraising such as Just Giving, legacy, Charity of the Year, media campaign and fundraising, face to face, corporate and strategic fundraising experience is also needed.

You will be proactive, work well on own and in team and have experience in delivering presentations and key messages to a range of audiences.

The role

Would you like to be part of a small, collaborative HR team that supports the people driving CSE’s mission to tackle the climate emergency and end fuel poverty? We are looking for a proactive, organised and values-driven HR Officer to join our busy HR team. This is a hands-on role at the heart of our operations, supporting around 150 staff and 60 line managers across the employee lifecycle.

As HR Officer, you will provide practical, people-focused support from recruitment and onboarding through to contract changes, benefits administration, and leaver processes. You will act as the first point of contact for HR queries, helping colleagues and managers to apply policies effectively, use systems confidently, and follow processes that are consistent and people-centred.You will also play a key role in maintaining accurate information across systems such as Employment Hero, SharePoint HR Intranet and Monday, ensuring data is compliant and well managed. Working closely with the Senior HR Manager and Senior HR Advisor, you will contribute to improving how HR supports staff, helping to strengthen processes, enhance systems and create a positive employee experience.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys getting the detail right, solving problems and improving the way things work. You will be part of a small, friendly team where HR systems and processes are evolving, so you will need to be comfortable balancing daily operational work with helping to shape clearer, more efficient ways of working.

You will bring:

• Some experience in HR or people-focused support, with an understanding of HR processes and a basic knowledge of UK employment law, and a willingness to continue learning.

• Strong digital and administrative skills, including experience using HR systems, spreadsheets and Office 365 (especially Word and Excel).

Working within the Development and Outreach Department, (responsible for fundraising, marketing and communications) the Partnerships Team crafts and steward collaborations with companies and brands, in the UK and globally, to generate significant income, raise awareness of WDC brand and work and advocate for positive action.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

As Clerk to the Board of Governors

Provide procedural, regulatory, and governance advice to the Board of Governors. Responsibilities include:

• provide administrative support to the governing body, for example: co-ordinating calendar of dates for governing body meetings and preparing agendas, taking notes at meetings for the preparation of minutes and ensuring that all decisions are recorded accurately and objectively, including timescales for actions

• Support the implementation and effective use of New Governance Software and lead the shift to using Generative AI for note taking at meetings. Update and maintain a database of Governance information, ensuring secure handling of confidential data and information in compliance with College Policy and the General Data Protection Regulations.

• support the development and performance of governors in their role, for example: updating them on changes in legislation and policy, informing them of appropriate training and helping them understand their duties

• offer advice to governors and the college on the correct governance procedures and how to improve governance

• Work with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to ensure a high level of governor engagement by ensuring an up-to-date calendar of opportunities, appropriate communications and effective tracking and gathering of feedback

As Governance and Performance Manager

• Support the College’s internal governance function, providing administrative support in scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and taking notes/minutes. Lead the shift to using Generative AI for note taking at meetings and in systems and Processes to improve efficiency.

• Work with the Executive Leadership Team and wider leadership team to co-ordinate regular strategy updates and report on progress against strategic goals and agreed KPIs.

• Input into, and support with the co-ordination of the College’s Wider Leadership Forum and All-Staff sessions.

• Update and Maintain the College’s Risk Register and Master Policy Schedule.

• Assist with co-ordinating internal audit reviews in accordance with approved internal audit plan.

• Receive and co-ordinate timely responses to Freedom of Information (FOI) requests.

• Be a collaborative, enthusiastic member of the College’s wider leadership team, working closely with Staff and Governors to help deliver our ambitious strategy.

• Undertaking other duties commensurate with the role as directed by the Chair or Director of Finance and Compliance.

We are looking for a creative and driven Philanthropy Manager for a well loved health charity to manage a pool of mid value donors and secure four and five-figure gifts whilst stewarding donors.

This is a hybrid role with two days a week in the London office.

The Charity
A passionate charity who aims to create access to world-leading healthcare, delivered by a thriving workforce and driven by medical research that has a global impact. They have a Fundraising team of approx 20 people securing c£4m+ last year. The Role
Lead and deliver a mid-level giving retention and recruitment strategy, for donors giving between £1,000 and £50,000 each year, working with colleagues and senior volunteers to understand potential opportunities for uplift in giving.
Manage the day-to-day delivery of mid-level donor activities, including tracking renewal cycles, supporting donor journeys, and responding to enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Support the development and delivery of engaging events, and bespoke communications including personalised letters, invitations, proposals, and thank-you communications, ensuring mid-level donors feel valued and connected to the impact of their giving.
Ensure that mid-level donors have the best possible experience of giving to the charity, by engaging with colleagues on the development of appeals to this audience, stewarding those giving at this level, and attracting new supporters
Work with the public fundraising team to thank mid-level donors to fundraising appeals, creating updates and reports, and providing an excellent supporter experience to maximise the opportunity for a longer-term relationship beyond specific appeals.
Support the fundraising activities of the wider philanthropy & campaigns team through identifying donors who may give major gifts or be interested in legacy giving.

The Candidate
Experience of securing four and five figure gifts from individual donors.

Experience in fundraising and donor development delivering an excellent service on the phone, in person, and in written communications.

Experience of creating high quality written documents, such as tailored letters, proposals, slide decks, or other professional materials.
