About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and strong Administrator, preferably with HR recruitment and administrative experience; to support our newly formed people-oriented team. This is a key role within Women and Girls Network (WGN) and requires someone with sound experience of working within a multidisciplinary team within the charity sector. Main Purpose of the Role

The Community and Corporate Fundraising Officer will develop and manage a strong pipeline of community and business supporters, combining excellent stewardship with proactive prospecting, networking and creative fundraising approaches.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Fundraising

• Identify, develop and secure corporate partnerships, including Charity of the Year opportunities, sponsorships, payroll giving, and in-kind support.
• Build relationships with local businesses, engaging them in volunteering and staff fundraising activities.
• Prepare compelling proposals, pitches and presentations to secure new partnerships and strengthen existing ones.
• Recruit and steward local businesses for the Unpaid Carers Hub, our web-based corporate partnerships offer.

Community Fundraising

• Pro-actively grow income from local community groups, schools, clubs and faith organisations across Surrey.
• Act as an ambassador for the charity at local events, deliver talks and presentations, inspiring people to support our work.
• Support and encourage DIY/community fundraisers, providing resources and guidance to maximise income.

Events

• Plan and deliver fundraising events from concept to completion, managing budgets, logistics and marketing timelines to ensure strong ROI.
• Recruit participants for charity-led and third-party events, including running challenges and bespoke campaigns such as I’m a Director, Get Me Out of Here!.

Communications and Stewardship

• Work with the Fundraising and Communications teams to create engaging fundraising materials, content for social media, newsletters, and supporter updates.
• Deliver excellent supporter care, ensuring donations are acknowledged promptly and relationships nurtured for long-term engagement.

Data, Reporting and Administration

• Maintain accurate records on Salesforce, producing reports and data analysis to monitor progress and inform decision-making.
• Track, evaluate and report on activity, identifying learning points to improve future performance.

Other Duties

• Represent and promote Crossroads Care Surrey at networking events, business forums, and in the wider community.
• Contribute to seasonal appeals and cross-team campaigns.

Person Specification

Essential

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in fundraising within the charity sector
• Proven track record of generating income for corporate partnerships and from community fundraising groups such as Rotary clubs.
• Strong relationship management skills, with experience of building and sustaining partnerships.

Tender is an arts charity working with children and young people to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence through creative projects. Our programmes are safe, enjoyable, age-appropriate spaces where young people can engage with sensitive topics and “rehearse” for real-life scenarios. Participants are encouraged to be both consumers and producers of learning through script-work, role-play and creative media such as films and art. Throughout, we enable young people to explore their choices, rights and expectations in relationships and to recognise the early warning signs of abuse. 

We have grown rapidly in recent years, and now have an exciting and varied programme of work which is funded from a wide range of sources. We have long-standing, high-value relationships with organisations such as the Mayor’s Office, Esmée Fairbairn and Clifford Chance, and continue to grow our income from a range of supporters from trusts, foundations, corporates, individuals and community fundraisers.

We now have a need for an Officer to work closely with the Development Director and CEO in developing our corporate income stream, managing the accounts of existing corporate partners and generating income through securing new corporate partnerships. These partnerships will generate both donations and earned income, with corporate partners contracting Tender to deliver workplace training. You will also work closely with our Corporate Advisory Board, which includes a diverse, ambitious group of professionals who are supporting us to maximise our corporate income stream. The main purposes of the Development Officer role are:

• Working with the Development team to collectively achieve annual fundraising targets exceeding £2m per year
• Selling workplace training and donation opportunities to corporate partners across a range of industries, but in particular the legal and financial services sectors
• Supporting the CEO and Development Director to increase Tender’s workplace training delivery in order to achieve income targets through sales

Battersea has recently approved a new 5-year organisational strategy to deliver an even greater impact for dogs and cats through our Prevent, Support and Care activity. Concerts & Projects Manager

Position Summary

The Concerts & Projects Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of several key areas of the orchestra’s core performance activity (including but not limited to: concerts in London and around the UK, commercial recording projects, the orchestra’s Garsington Opera residency and others).

Working in a fast-paced environment as part of a friendly, fun and creative team, the role of Concerts & Projects Manager provides a unique opportunity to work with leading musicians and conductors. Excellent organisational and budgeting skills, attention to detail, innovative thinking and a flexible approach to working will help you manage, develop and execute a diverse range of projects to the highest standard.

With oversight from the Senior Concerts Manager and Concerts Director, the post-holder will work closely with the Concerts Coordinators, Concerts Assistant and the Orchestra Operations Team in the delivery of outstanding performances in venues as varied as car parks, concert halls and country houses.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and coordinating of the London Season at the Royal Festival Hall.

• Planning and co-ordination of the Orchestra’s residencies in the main season: Basingstoke, Bedford, Canterbury & Leicester and in the summer season: Garsington Opera and Three Choirs Festival.

• Planning and co-ordination of the Orchestra’s UK engagements.

• Preparing concert/project budgets, managing and maintaining set budgets and final reconciliations/invoicing.

• Liaising with the Orchestra’s Head of Production and Stage Managers regarding practical arrangements for all concerts and projects, including but not limited to stage plans, arranging stage extensions where required, truck requirements etc.

• Liaising closely with the Orchestra Librarians on orchestrations and editions for repertoire being performed or recorded.

• Supervising the Concerts Coordinators and Assistant in the practical delivery of contracts, PPE letters, tech riders, dressing room and security lists, rehearsal venue bookings, detailed schedule preparation etc.

• Keeping abreast of all relevant agreements and updates from the Association of British Orchestras and Musicians’ Union.

• Liaising with the Orchestra Committee and Artistic Committee regarding player matters as directed by Senior Concerts Manager/Concerts Director

The Digital Marketing Officer will play a key role in delivering and managing WAF’s digital content and channels. About the Charity

The Wildlife Aid Foundation (WAF) is an animal charity dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of British wildlife. We are passionate about protecting the future for our native species.

We run one of the UK’s busiest wildlife rescue and rehabilitation centres. We deal with over 20,000 wildlife-related incidents, each year. It’s a 24/7 job. On any given day, our rescuers will be scaling trees to rescue stranded baby owls or cutting fox cubs from garden netting. Our vets will be performing life-saving surgery, while our carers look after hundreds of patients and young babies being nursed in our rehab centre.

We rely on a small army of over 300 volunteers and run popular outreach and education programmes that help people take actions to make the world a better place for us and our animal neighbours in the natural world.

Social Media Management

We have a significant opportunity to put the tools into the hands of those working with Children, Young People and Families that will better equip them to see young lives transformed. 

Scripture Union are looking to appoint two Content Creators: One specialising in under 11s & families and one specialising in Young People.  You will see that our current portfolio is extensive, but we would like to ensure that we add to it with focused material (whether digital or physical, whether free or paid for).  You will both be involved in the creation of new content and in contracting other specialists who have skills in communicating to children and young people that we would like to develop.  Also, promoting those resources at various conferences and festivals to complement the work of our marketing team. 

Working Patterns

The role is remote with some travel to our Head Office at Trinity House Milton Keynes to collaborate face to face with the rest of the team. 

Part Time options can also be considered, but we will give priority to those who can work at least three days a week and a commitment for a physical presence in Milton Keynes as the role requires but no more than once weekly.   

Also, flexible working may be necessary when promoting resources.

AFK is a national charity creating opportunities for children and young people who are disabled or neurodiverse, to increase their independence, reach their individual potential and remove the barriers they face. Our vision is a world where there are no barriers to independence for children and young people who are disabled or neurodiverse. As part of this we provide bespoke employment skills training and organise work experience across North London.  

At a national level, we provide mobility equipment not available on the NHS for disabled children and young people up to the age of 25.

Overall Job Purpose

As part of the Service Delivery Team, you will take operational responsibility for managing and developing the delivery of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) training programmes. You will ensure that corporate and charitable organisations are equipped with practical tools to build inclusive workplace cultures and create accessible career opportunities for young people with additional needs.

In this hands-on role, you will coordinate consultancy projects from start to finish - overseeing scheduling, delivery, marketing, and evaluation - to maintain high standards and meet income targets. Your work will directly support AFK’s mission to create a fairer, more equitable society for people with additional needs.

You will work closely with AFK’s Co-Facilitators - each bringing valuable lived experience - to ensure all EDI training is authentic, relevant, and informed by their expertise.

Working Conditions

The post is 35 hours a week, normally 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. The post holder may be expected to work some evenings and weekends as required by the job.

28 days annual leave will be given in addition to public holidays.

Working Relationships

Principal Responsibilities

Service Development

· Collaborate with the CEO, Executive Director of Services to identify and develop new opportunities for chargeable training services.

· Hold overall management responsibility for the EDI Programme, including its team of Facilitators and Co-Facilitators.

· Advance the organisation’s co-production target by working with the youth leadership group, and with other Service Delivery Managers.

· Lead the ongoing development of AFK’s training offer, ensuring a diverse range of services that promote workplace inclusion and equity for people with additional needs.

Business Development

· Collaborate with the CEO, Executive Director of Services and Fundraising Team to identify marketing opportunities for AFK services supporting voluntary and community groups.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role could suit two types of candidates:

• A practitioner with experience of working with children and families who wants to use their practice experience in a programme management role, or;
• An experienced programme manager with strong public sector and/or charity sector experience, who is confident working with data and is relational and collaborative with colleagues and partners.

It would be an advantage, though not essential, to have experience of Family Group Decision Making, solution-focused practice, or the children’s social care sector.

Whilst this role is a managerial role, and not day-to-day family-facing we do make space for our Programme Managers to hold a limited number of referrals each year to nurture skills and practice experience. Full practitioner training is provided for all Daybreak employees.

The role is home based with regular travel into Bromley and Hackney Local Authority offices. A successful candidate would also need to actively work in person with commissioners, external partners, and communities in and around Bromley and Hackney on a regular basis, depending on service needs. Willingness to travel to other areas, depending on service need and growth is needed.

What does a week look like for a Daybreak Programme Manager?

No two weeks are the same, but as a Programme Manager you can expect to balance a mix of operational oversight, supporting your freelancer team, and stakeholder engagement. Typical activities include:

Ensuring a quality service for families, and delivering on contract aims

• Reviewing and triaging referrals, including case discussions with referrers.
• Quality-assuring referrals and Family Plans, ensuring procedures are followed and records are kept up to date in our case management system.
• Monitoring case records to make sure Family Group Conferences are progressing appropriately, and accurate records are being kept.
• Collating and analysing performance data (KPIs), using MS Excel and other tools.
• Writing quarterly reports for commissioners, analysing service delivery, providing narratives and identifying areas for development.

Working with your freelancer team of Coordinators

• Allocating new referrals to our team of freelance Independent Coordinators.
• Engaging Coordinators in best practice discussions, providing guidance to overcoming barriers or issues.
• Acting as the first point of contact for safeguarding concerns, reviewing incident reports and escalating when required.
• Hosting in-person and online Practice Development Groups to share key messages and facilitate best practice discussions.
• Recruiting, inducting, and supporting new Coordinators - from advertising and interviews to observing practice.
• Reviewing and signing off invoices from freelance Coordinators.

Working with external stakeholders and referrers

• Building relationships with referrers such as Social Workers, through consultations and attending team meetings.
• Promoting our services to commissioners and senior managers in children’s social care, ensuring referrals are high quality whilst also raising awareness of the value of FGCs and our service.

Contributing to the wider Charity aims

• Attending Programme Manager and staff team meetings.
• Contributing ideas and expertise to strengthen processes, improve service delivery, expand our offer to families, and support Daybreak’s wider charitable goals.

• Salary: £36,000 - £39,000 per annum pro rata, depending on experience
