Job description

Victim Support is looking for a Trusts and Grants Officer, the base of this role is flexible and homeworking will be considered.

Victim Support (VS) is an independent charity for people affected by crime in England and Wales. We work towards a world where people affected by crime or traumatic events get the support they need and respect they deserve.

We are seeking a Trust and Grants Officer to lead on securing donations from charitable trusts, foundations, statutory bodies and parish councils. In addition, this post will be responsible for managing the customer care and reporting to charitable trusts to maintain support and income agreements. The role will also have responsibility for delivering high quality research for current and prospective donors, increasing our ability to secure income for the organisation.

Victim Support is grounded in communities across England & Wales as well as having the strength of a national infrastructure and a well established, award-winning volunteer network.

This role will lead on building relationships with existing trust supporters, writing reports to meet deadlines and submitting further applications for core and project funding. Working with local teams the role will also assist with mapping regional and local trusts, corporate and major donor existing and future supporters.

You will report to the Fundraising Lead for Victim Support.
