We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic Community and Events Fundraising Assistant to join our Fundraising team. If you have strong communication and organisational skills and a desire to be part of positive change, this position is for you!

In this role, you will focus on delivering exceptional customer service, providing vital administrative support, and helping us achieve the team’s income target. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills, as you will lead on projects crucial to Place2Be’s success.

This position is perfect for someone eager to start a career in fundraising or expand their expertise in community and challenge events fundraising.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer care: Managing the team inbox as first point of contact and speaking confidently with supporters on the phone.
• Admin support: Logging accurate data on our fundraising database (CharityCRM)
• Project Management: Work with the team to lead on projects
• Support on key events and activities including Children’s Mental Health Week and London Landmarks Half Marathon
• Attend event activities, playing a key staff role
• Knowledge Development: stay updated on Charity law, best practices in community and events fundraising, and the fundraising market.

• Good working knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.

About the role
Supporting the delivery of a range of Breast Cancer Now owned events, these roles are pivotal to the growth of the fundraising portfolio and will play an essential part in positioning Breast Cancer Now as the go-to charity for fundraising events. 

The postholder will be responsible for the smooth running of events, withopportunities to get hands on with creating stand out events and supporter experiences.  

About you
The successful candidate will have strong experience of delivering events, with specific knowledge of charity fundraising events. With the ability to manage multiple projects at once, the postholder will be confident working as part of a team and independently to achieve ambitious targets. The role will be really varied, and so the successful candidate will enjoy speaking with Breast Cancer Now’s inspiring supporters as well as negotiating the very best deals and prices with suppliers.

SANE is a UK-wide mental health charity working to improve the quality of life of anyone affected by mental illness. About the role     

We’re looking for a support worker who will: 

• Support the Wales Mission Team in their ongoing mission to pioneer and create opportunities for children and young people, who are found in the 95% of those outside the church, to explore the Bible, respond to Jesus, grow in faith, and become sharers of the good news of Jesus for themselves. Our priority is to reach those who don’t yet know Jesus by helping them to connect, explore, respond, and grow. 

• Work with the National Mission Co-ordinator (Wales) and the team in the National Office to develop a wider provision for mission resources, communication and marketing materials in the Welsh language. 

This is a permanent role at 0.5 FTE with a salary of £11,970.  

What You'll Do   

• Administrative Support: provide administrative support to the Wales team with regard to arranging meetings, note taking, event bookings, internal communication and database support.

• Communication: communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences in Wales in a variety of ways including newsletters, social media, updates to the website, supporter communications, handling enquiries from church volunteers/workers. 

• Welsh Language: support with translation and proof-reading to expand the provision of Welsh language mission resources and communication with supporters.

Mind in Enfield and Barnet is a fast-growing charity in North London providing much needed therapy, wellbeing support and advocacy services to people with mental health problems. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 experienced Crisis Outreach Workers to support Mind in Enfield and Barnet's Family Hubs Service.This role is to support individuals during the perinatal period (expecting and up to 2 years after birth)  presenting at the Family Hubs experiencing mental health crisis and problems gain immediate support

The purpose of the Outreach Worker is to work with adults during the perinatal period (pre birth up to 2 years after birth), including both parents and carers. You will work as part of MiEB perinatal family hub team to identify those at risk of crisis and ensure referral pathways are in place to facilitate rapid engagement

The successful candidates should have a minimum 2 years experience of working with people with mild, moderate and severe mental health issues. Experience of utilising de-escalation techniques, and supporting clients presenting in emotional distress

About the role

You will work cross-functionally to break down silos, develop an integrated digital strategy, and rapidly scale up our digital activity to meet our fundraising growth ambitions. You’ll support across teams with testing and innovating new products and propositions.

This role will require a digital strategist with experience across the mix – from mobilisation and campaigning to fundraising and supporter experience. A keen eye for analysis and an audience-led approach, enables you to look beyond any one function or objective to drive growth; be that income, impact or engagement. You’ll have ample experience and/or knowledge of a wide variety of digital platforms and tools including CMS systems, Google Analytics, PowerBi, Impact Stack/Engaging Networks, MailChimp, social media and Adwords.

This is a part-time role but we are open to flexible working arrangements and a discussion around hours.
