About the Role

We’re looking for a flexible, compassionate and organised Project Worker to join us from October. You’ll support our Winter Night Shelter, assist with guest services and casework, and lead on communications through social media and newsletters.

This varied role offers a unique insight into frontline homelessness work, while building skills in project delivery, volunteer management, and digital content creation.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Staffing 2 evening shelter shifts per week (Nov–Apr)

• Supporting volunteers and guests during shelter operations

• Assisting guests with appointments and move-on support

• Managing bookings for showers, laundry, and wellbeing sessions

• Running C4WS social media accounts and producing content

• Providing admin and reporting support to the team

• Helping with community programmes and practical logistics

• A recent graduate (any discipline) with a strong interest in homelessness or community work

We are seeking an individual to undertake the dual role of promoting the profile of the RAF Benevolent Funds welfare offer, whilst also carrying out welfare casework. This is a community-based position working from home but covering the West Midlands: Staffordshire, Shropshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire.

Post holders will be expected to undertake holistic assessment of need both remotely (over the telephone and online) and when required in person across their region. You will be expected to work with individuals who may have complex and sometimes challenging welfare needs, assisting them by identifying appropriate support from within both the RAF Benevolent Fund and the wider statutory and military charity sector, ensuring that support is made available to meet their need through the case working process.

We’re looking for a strategic, innovative and proactive Communications and Marketing Lead to drive forward Save the Rhino’s communications across all touch points, delivering our ambitious five-year strategy. As a member of the Senior Management Team, this role is key to shaping our public voice, strengthening our organisation’s brand and driving greater awareness and engagement with rhino conservation.

This is a broad and influential role for an experienced communications and marketing professional to amplify our core conservation messaging alongside our fundraising campaigns. You will bring clear tactical vision and a deep understanding of how targeted communications can advance organisational reputation, support conservation goals and engage diverse audiences.

You’ll oversee all aspects of external communications including messaging, media, PR, digital, campaigns and brand. With a talent for storytelling and an eye for detail, you’ll be confident and experienced in turning complex information into accessible, compelling content. From writing press releases on the latest rhino news, to supporting successful fundraising campaigns, this role is ideal for someone who excels in strategic thinking as well as hands-on delivery. What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Proven experience as a recruitment professional  (3+ years) and qualifications in the subject matter, preferably CIPD certified
• Experience working in charity retail, non-profit organisations and recruiting volunteers
• Strong knowledge of recruitment platforms and applicant tracking systems
• Experience producing reports for senior leadership
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

About the role

• Delivering support to people who are experiencing homelessness and are rough sleeping in the borough of Tower Hamlets.
• Conducting person-centred assessments with those who self-present at the service for support
• Agree plans, in conjunction with service users, to move into accommodation and access specialist services which will address the underlying causes of their homelessness. 
• To make referrals into Tower Hamlets and Pan-London local authority housing options services, using Homeless Reduction Act
• To work with partner agencies to provide joint support to service users where appropriate
• To build relationships with housing providers and the private rented sector, to increase the portfolio of affordable referral routes into accommodation.
• You will have excellent communication skills and can create positive working relationships with a wide range of people, including external services.
• You will support the development of the service and ensure that you are delivering a solution-focussed and strength-based approach.

About the role

We have a new and exciting opportunity to work with us as an Evidence Officer, working as part of the Strategy, Impact and Evidence team. 

Sustrans’ Strategy, Impact and Evidence team is a leading centre of excellence in active travel research, monitoring and evaluation and we are recruiting now. As an Evidence Officer, you will work on a range of behaviour change and infrastructure projects, providing monitoring, evaluation, and analytical support. The Strategy, Impact and Evidence teamplays an important part in supporting our vision by providing robust evidence on sustainable and active travel that ultimately influences and shapes policy, practice and behaviour across the UK.

Focusing on monitoring and evaluating the impact of infrastructure and behaviour change programmes, you will work on a range of projects around the UK and be involved in the planning, delivery, analysis and reporting of our monitoring and evaluation work. 

We offer true hybrid working, a flexible mix of working from home and occasional travel to a nearby office hub. There is minimal travel required in this role, however in the course of your work you may have to travel to one of the nominated hubs or project sites if required to do so. 

About you

You should have demonstrable quantitative and/or qualitative analytical skills, and be a competent Excel user or have working knowledge of statistical software, such as R.

As an excellent communicator in both oral and written forms, you will have with the ability to present data and findings clearly. You should also have the capability to find innovative and creative solutions to problems.

You will own some experience of project management as well as delivery of project monitoring and evaluation. You should also have some experience of working and communicating with suppliers, partners and/or clients.

This influential post is offered as a fixed-term contract ending March 2028. It will initially involve improving programme oversight and integrating the Physical Activity Programme and the We Are Undefeatable Campaign teams to enhance collaboration and ways of working. The Physical Activity Programme, a partnership with Sport England and the National Lottery, is entering an exciting new phase, which will focus on the evolution of We Are Undefeatable, from Above-The-Line to an 'always on' campaign, expanding our system influencing work, both nationally and at 'place' level, and building a powerful evidence base for how we can support the least active to move more

The role will have overall responsibility for the implementation of the strategic aims of the programme and ensure effective governance, budget oversight, and delivery of the system influencing work and WAU campaign. As Programme Director, you will extensively collaborate at leadership level with existing and new partnerships and stakeholders, parliamentarians and systems leaders to drive impactful interventions.

We operate a hybrid-working model and will require the post holder to be in our central London office a minimum of two days each week. Travel costs to our London office are not covered by the charity.

Protect, the UK’s leading whistleblowing charity, is looking for an exceptional public-spirited Policy & Advocacy Officer, who will lead our anti-corruption work. The role is currently funded by the Joffe Charitable Trust. The role is 3 days (22.5hours) per week; can be spread over 3-5 days.  

The role is London based with hybrid and remote working options & occasional travel to Westminster. 

The role will entail proactively looking for advocacy opportunities and working with the Policy Team in Protect to progress important public policies, which further the protection of whistleblowers, support safe speaking up and tackle corruption in the UK. 

For 30 years we have provided legal advice to whistleblowers, campaigned for better legal protection for whistleblowing and supported organisations to create effective whistleblowing systems. With the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) turning their focus to whistleblowing, there could not be a more exciting time to join the anti-corruption fight.

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, ambitious and a team player. The ideal candidate is a great communicator, with exceptional networking and stakeholder engagement skills.
