We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us in the role of People Advisor to play a key role in delivering outstanding HR services across the organisation. The St Mungo’s People, Culture and Inclusion team are looking to achieve a number of ambitious and compelling goals which will have a real impact on colleagues across the organisation. 

You will be joining an enthusiastic team of People Advisors and Business Partners, working with managers across the organisation to provide advice on a broad range of employee relations issues, and generalist HR queries. Key responsibilities in this varied role will include:

• Overseeing a caseload of high, and low risk ER cases within designated regions of the organisation, providing advice and coaching to managers throughout the case management process.
• Providing ongoing advice and guidance to managers, to support them in managing their people well and delivering an effective service. 
• Ensuring a high quality, responsive, reliable and proactive service is provided to internal customers.
• Developing your own knowledge and experience in ER and HR advice services. We pride ourselves on supporting personal development and career progression across the team.
• Undertaking HR projects to improve the quality of the service in line with organisational objectives.

In this role you will be required to work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our Central Office in London. This allows for training, in person collaboration, team building, line management and other relationship building opportunities. We support a flexible approach to work with opportunities for agile working for the rest of your week; from home, or other St Mungo’s London or regional locations.

About you and the role

The purpose of this role is to support engagement with schools and multi-academy trusts by coordinating outreach, responding to enquiries, and helping to deliver our engagement activities. You will work closely with the Engagement Manager to implement engagement plans and ensure effective communication with schools and partners.

You will be supported by the Engagement Manager, Co-Director of Partnerships and Impact, and work closely with the Senior Programme Managers, Programme Managers and Communications team. 

You will support the Engagement Manager to deliver our school engagement strategy, ensuring alignment with our organisational goals and funded programme commitments. You’ll be a key first point of contact for schools and Multi-Academy Trusts, assessing their suitability and needs before referring them to the appropriate programme.

Working with the Engagement Manager, you’ll create marketing strategies to generate interest and participation in our programmes through direct mail, digital marketing campaigns, and in-person at conferences and events and meetings with prospective school partners. 

You’ll help build the engagement pipeline, support onboarding to ensure a smooth handover for training participants and schools to our programme delivery teams.

This role will be primarily based in London, but will include supporting the engagement of schools in locations across the UK as we scale and develop new hubs. You will be joining a dynamic and growing charity who are passionate about delivering exceptional training, skill sharing, expertise and know-how to advance the quality of food preparation, food service and food education in schools.

You will ideally have an understanding of the education sector and have strong people skills with the ability to build relationships and manage effective partnerships with external organisations.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the Engagement Manager in delivering school engagement plans and activities, ensuring they align with our organisational marketing strategy.

• Help build and maintain positive relationships with schools, academy trusts and partner organisations, with the support of the Engagement Manager.

• Maintain accurate data records and ensure our contacts database is up to date with relevant school, participant, partner and engagement information.

• Maintain and update the engagement pipeline, tracking enquiries, supporting follow-ups, and coordinating the handover to programme teams.

• Work with the Engagement Manager to build upon our current onboarding and customer journey for schools and training participants, developing and improving this for future schools and cohorts.

• Work closely with the Comms team to support marketing of training programmes to schools and school chefs.

• Support Engagement Manager with incoming enquiries, ensuring timely and effective responses.

• Support the delivery of engagement campaigns - helping with content and materials, logistics, scheduling, and coordinating with the Communications team.

• Represent Chefs in Schools at national and regional conferences, exhibitions, and networking events to promote our programmes and mission.

• Coordinate event logistics such as registrations, attendance tracking, and follow-up communications, supporting colleagues where needed.

• Provide administrative support within the wider Partnerships and Impact team.

Skills & experience:

• You have interest and belief in our mission, to improve child health through improving food and food education in schools.

• You’re an excellent writer and communicator with strong presentation and communication skills.

• You have experience of maintaining and building relationships with a wide range of audiences.

• You have experience of using CRM software.

• You have experience supporting outreach or engagement activity, ideally within education, food, charity or related fields.

• You have the ability to listen, understand and interpret customer requirements.

• You demonstrate self-motivation, flexibility and the ability to adapt to an ever-changing, growing organisation.

• A good understanding of the UK educational system is desirable.

Founded in 1982, Galop has been championing the safety of the LGBT+ community for over 40 years. The charity works directly with thousands of LGBT+ people who have experienced abuse and violence every year. They run four national support helplines: for victims and survivors of domestic abuse, survivors of so-called “conversion therapy”, survivors of rape and sexual violence, and LGBT+ people who have experienced hate crime. They provide advocacy services, both in London and nationally, for victims who need longer-term support. They are a service run by LGBT+ people, for LGBT+ people, and the needs of the community are at the centre of what they do.

This role is offered on a full-time permanent contract basis paying a salary between £41,534 to £44,749 (including Inner London Weighting of £4,009) per annum with flexible hybrid working arrangements at their London office.

The charity started investing in Individual Giving in October 2023, with some key foundation building and early fundraising activity having taken place since then. This role aims to develop and secure a diverse range of funding streams to deliver their ambitious fundraising growth plans over the next 3 years. The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a purposeful and proactive individual to work within a small (but growing), friendly and dynamic team in a varied role.

We are expanding our team and so we are looking for a Research and Impact Manager. This hands-on role would suit an insightful, evidence driven researcher and monitoring and evaluation specialist and who is a strong partnership worker. We are looking for someone who is willing to step up when something is needed and determined to see things through. 

You will need to enjoy working proactively and flexibly in a fast-paced environment, and have a logical, systematic approach, as well as excellent communication and IT skills. Our team works remotely, but there are also opportunities to co-work (depending on location). You’ll be encouraged and supported to grow and develop your research and impact evaluation skills and expertise within this role.

Responsibilities

Working closely with the Warm Welcome Operations Director and wider team your primary responsibility will be to lead on research and impact evaluation to ensure that our strategic approach is driven by evidence. You would take ownership of specific tasks as required, including;

Research:

• Developing a research strategy for the Warm Welcome campaign to help to ensure we can meet our overall campaign strategy.

• Leading on the co-design of research projects to meet the needs of the Warm Welcome campaign and our partners. 

• Developing a research and insights hub for the Warm Welcome team where they can easily access the latest statistics on relevant topics such as poverty and loneliness.

• Supporting any individuals or organisations undertaking research on behalf of the Warm Welcome campaign to ensure it is of a high quality and rigorous standard.

• Ensuring high ethical standards and safeguarding are maintained in any research project related to the Warm Welcome campaign.

• Sharing the results of this research in reports and presentations where key evidence and learning is easy for others to understand 

• Offering training and support to the Warm Welcome team related to research.

Impact Assessment:

• Supporting the continuous development of our Impact framework.

• Leading the collection of high-quality data, via methods such as survey design, polling and qualitative interviews, with the wider Warm Welcome team and Spaces network to help us to monitor, evaluate, learn and develop our collective impact.

• Ensuring we collect data with Warm Welcome spaces at every stage of their journey in joining the network, i.e. when they register to join and at regular intervals once registered to ensure we understand their impact and their support needs. 

• Developing evaluation tools and systems to ensure the Warm Welcome team are easily able to capture evidence related to our impact framework.

• Offering training and support to the Warm Welcome team related to monitoring, evaluation, learning, development and impact assessment

• Leading on partnership work related to monitoring, evaluation, learning, development and impact assessment for the Warm Welcome team

• Being the go to person for key statistics and impact data within the Warm Welcome team to be used in our communications and reporting

Teamworking:

Person specification

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience: 

• Strong track record of carrying out a range of relevant research projects, especially those involving community groups

• Experience of collaborating with others on research and evaluation projects

• Strong analytical skills with a proven track record in qualitative and quantitative

methods

Working arrangements

Given the nature of this role, we would also expect the applicant to carry out a reasonable amount of travel to both projects and partners across the UK.

About this role

SPANA is investing in its Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) function. We have established an independent MEAL team within the Global Programmes Directorate (GPD), led by a Head of Data Insights and MEAL. The MEAL team plays a critical role in ensuring that SPANA’s programmes are effective, responsive and continuously progressing to improve the welfare of working animals globally. The MEAL team works closely with SPANA partners based in different countries and with SPANA colleagues across departments.

Reporting to the MEAL Manager, the Data Management Officer is a key role in SPANA’s MEAL team. The role oversees the full data cycle, including supporting partners with consistent data collection, improving data quality assurance, maintaining data systems, setting standards, co-ordinating consolidation of programme data and producing clear analysis and visualisation. The role contributes directly to better use of evidence in programme design, learning and accountability across the organisation.

Contract, location and salary

This is a full-time (34.5 hour per week), permanent role based in the UK. SPANA works on a hybrid basis, and staff come into our office in London for approximately 1-2 days per month (or more if preferred).

The Role:

As our long-standing Chief Executive Officer prepares for retirement, we are seeking an experienced senior manager to take over the leadership of this dynamic and innovative charity.

The Chief Executive Officer will be based at the charity’s head office in Splatford, Exeter. You will be responsible to the Board of Trustees and will represent, promote and support the charity, whilst ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of operations and future growth.

Job Description
This role is central to positioning CSC as the leading small-to-medium-sized science
centre and STEM engagement organisation in the UK. Working with the CEO and
Directors, you will help identify opportunities, shape CSC’s marketing strategy, and
