The Role

As Global Head of Finance, you will lead a small, dedicated international team, overseeing strategic financial planning, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance across UK and US entities.

You’ll play a key role on the Fund’s management team, ensuring financial integrity, promoting sustainable growth, and partnering across functions to embed strong financial practices organisation-wide.

This is both a strategic and hands-on role, offering the opportunity to guide long-term financial direction while staying closely connected to day-to-day operations and people.

Duties include, but aren’t limited to:

• Financial planning, reporting and strategy: managing annual budget cycle, produce monthly, quarterly and annual finance reports.
• Compliance, Audit and Risk Management: Oversee annual audits for both US and UK entities, support compliance checks and procurement systems meet organisational and donor requirements.
• Investment, Treasury and External Relations: Monitor and management investment and cash accounts across both the US and UK – optimising returns. Managing external banking, investment and lease negotiations, managing annual vendor negotiations and renewals globally.
• Systems optimisation and process improvement.
• Team leadership: Lead and support the finance team, reviewing outputs, resolving issues to support high performance. Oversee financial training to all budget holders to maintain financial literacy and accountability across the organisation.

Essential experience

The successful candidate will possess blends of technical financial expertise with operational leadership with a continuous commitment to purpose-driven work. You will have:

• Professional financial qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Senior-level finance experience in an international charity or NGO sector.
• Strong familiarity with both UK SORP and US GAAP.
• Proven extensive knowledge of strategic financial leadership.
• Experience supporting grant management and donor reporting.

About the Role

Sense is recruiting for a Supporter Services Assistant to join our fantastic Engagement Team in Kings Cross, London on a hybrid basis.  

The successful applicant will play vital part in the Engagement Department and the charity as a whole – it makes sure that supporters have an outstanding experience of supporting Sense and know how much they are valued. Your daily task’s are varied with a mixture of in-and-outbound calling, combined with essential administrative tasks like income processing or capturing important information about Sense’s supporters and their motivations to support the charity.  

The main duties and responsibilities include:

• Accurately processing fundraising income, including cheques and cash, vouchers (CAF, KKL) direct debits, payroll giving and from online donation platforms (Just Giving, Virgin Money Giving, Facebook) within agreed timescales and in line with provided procedures.
• Create or amend supporter records on Sense’s Raisers Edge database, ensuring that all interactions between charity and supporter etc are recorded accurately and in line with best practice GDPR.
• Identifying opportunities for supporters to further engage with Sense and promoting them as appropriate to help deliver Fundraising department targets (such as sharing a supporter story with our Comms team).
• Work with other fundraising teams to ensure relationships with supporters are managed effectively, both by responding to enquiries promptly and by working to the agreed supporter communications plan. There is also the expectation to attend other teams’ meetings i.e. Community, Events, Philanthropy to understand what activity is happening across the charity. 

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience of working in a customer or supporter service environment
• Administrative experience in a busy office environment
• Experience of using Raiser’s Edge or similar Customer Relationship Management database
• Outstanding customer service, an excellent telephone manner and ability to understand team needs to prioritise workloads effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail, especially when entering data.
• Good working knowledge of MS office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following stroke. We are looking for an innovative, passionate, and professional individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to join the Stroke Recovery Service based in Macclesfield.

Position: S11313 Stroke Support Coordinator

Location: Home-based – Macclesfield, East Cheshire. However, extensive travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

Salary: Circa £21, 948 per annum (FTE circa £27,400 per annum)

Hours: Part-time, 28 hours per week

Contract: Our services are contracted; we currently have funding for this contract until 31 March 2026. While continued funding beyond this date cannot be guaranteed, we have maintained regular contracts in this area for many years and are confident in the likelihood of securing future funding

The Role

Reporting to the Service Delivery Coach, you will have the ability to support stroke survivors to identify their goals. Using strong assessment skills and a person-centred approach enabling them to maximise their recovery and improve communication.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.
• Provide personalised information, advice and support.

About the Choir with No Name

The Choir with No Name has been running choirs involving people impacted by homelessness and marginalisation since 2008, and we currently have choirs in Birmingham, Liverpool, London, Cardiff, Coventry, Sheffield and Brighton. We were founded on the premise that singing makes you feel good; it distracts you from all the nonsense in life and helps you to build confidence, skills and genuine, long-lasting friendships. We are looking for maternity cover for our part-time Finance and Data Administrator role. As Finance and Data Administrator, you should have a proactive mindset and a positive attitude. The Role
Lead in the development and delivery of Supporter Acquisition campaigns/activity/products across a range of media, with a specific focus on digital channels.

We are recruiting a Senior Casework and Service Coordinator to assist the Support Services Manager, provide guidance and advice to colleagues, and manage incoming queries from service users. This role is ideally suited to an experienced caseworker looking to take the next step in their career.

Rainbow Migration has grown in recent years from a small charity generating £200k income in 2019 to £1M in 2024. The Senior Casework and Service Coordinator is a new role that will take on some of the responsibilities of the Support Services Manager, freeing the manager up to work on service development and strategic matters.

Role overview

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week). Working part-time (minimum 28 hours) will be considered. Occasional work in the evenings and at weekends may be required but with plenty of notice. Rainbow Migration encourages staff to maintain a good work life balance and has a TOIL system in place.

Salary: Starting at £36,994 with potential annual step increases up to £41,315 (pro rata if working part time), plus statutory employer’s pension contribution. In addition to an annual step increase, we consider giving a separate inflationary increase every April.

Location: Rainbow Migration’s wheelchair accessible offices are based between Vauxhall and the Oval, London. This role will have an office-based contract but the postholder can choose to work from home for part of the week in agreement with their line manager as per our hybrid working policy. You must be available to work from our offices in London when necessary. The successful candidate would also be welcome to work from the office full-time if that is their preference. Our innovative Open the Gate (OTG) programme at our Battersea Hub offers work experience, volunteering opportunities, accredited training, mentoring, and signposting support to participants/ Apprentices at any point on their resettlement journey.

About the role:

We are now looking for an experienced and dynamic Engagement and Support Officer (ESO) to join our team. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by people in contact with the criminal justice system and will work proactively to establish meaningful and sustainable cross-referral pathways with external agencies. They will nurture a professional, inclusive, and safe working environment; use their knowledge, insights, and expertise to support tangible outcomes for all Open The Gate participants; and develop the wider programme offer in line with our organisational objectives.

• Experience in creating bespoke written proposals and impact reports, with a track record of building and managing a pipeline of funders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
• Robust IT skills with experience using a CRM database or equivalent to update and maintain accurate donor information.
