Key Focus Areas:

Your role 

You will be responsible for the management, development and delivery of marketing and communications to support CWNN’s fundraising strategy. You’ll work alongside our Development Manager to create compelling fundraising campaigns, content and communications, growing engagement from individuals, companies, community fundraisers and potential funders while simultaneously raising our profile among stakeholders through strategic communications and marketing plans. This work includes:   

• Support our Development Manager to create and deliver impactful and innovative fundraising strategies including our public appeals, challenge events and local fundraising campaigns.

• Developing and implementing communications strategies to promote CWNN’s work, managing our social media platforms and external comms to ensure they reflect our strategic goals and values.

• Producing our e-newsletter, with support from the Development team, to ensure CWNN’s key work, impact, news and campaigns are effectively promoted to our supporter base.

• Create engaging digital content for our website and social media including written copy, video and graphics.

• Analysing campaign engagement KPIs to inform future strategies and approaches to best engage existing and new audiences.

• Create marketing materials for external use, eg. corporate pitch documents, fundraising packs, gig programmes, flyers and posters using Canva.

• Co-creating case studies, supporting members to share their stories, their way, amplifying their voices and demonstrating the impact of our choirs to stakeholders.

• Co-lead our co-produced ‘Digital Storytellers’ programme with our Community Participation Manager, supporting members to manage their own local social media accounts, sharing their stories and raising awareness of their choirs to new audiences.

• Maintain, organise and populate CWNN’s media library and YouTube channel.

• Write and distribute press releases to both regional and national press and media, fielding media enquiries and building our media contacts.

• Co-ordinate our internal communications programme, working with senior leadership team.

• Carry out any other tasks that arise that are within the scope and purpose of the post as requested by your line manager.

About you 

Essential:

• You’ll have a proven track record in delivering successful, innovative and impactful charity communications content and strategies.

• You’ll have a good understanding of how fundraising and engagement campaigns can convert individuals into donors and advocates.

• You’ll have a creative eye and strong writing skills, with experience of bringing compelling stories to life across various platforms and media, to connect with a diverse range of supporters, funders and stakeholders.

• You’ll be able to multitask effectively, be highly organised with strong attention to detail.

• You’ll be proactive, self-motivated and can identify and act on opportunities as they arise.

• You’ll be reliable with an ability to work independently and have fantastic planning skills. 

• You’ll have a deep understanding of how successful social media content and campaigns work, and always have an eye emerging digital trends and tech.

• You’ll be experienced in using design and web platforms (we use Canva, Squarespace, ClipChamp, Later) to create and deliver professional and impactful digital multi-media content.

St Giles and The Wise Group came together to form a partnership with the aim of supporting the Probation Resettlement reforms by offering a high-quality service underpinned by staff who have lived experience and cultural competency. As a result, we have been awarded contracts to deliver Women’s Services for North Yorkshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, and Durham. The service will provide holistic support to sentenced women in the community and those sentenced and un-sentenced in custodial settings.

About this key role

Our successful candidate will monitor and manage the receipt of referrals from Probation through the Customer Approved System (CAS) ensuring they are successfully assigned to Personal Wellbeing Coaches using the appropriate guidance and process, ensure all inputting is accurate and within agreed timescales, plus provide regular activity reports to the Personal Wellbeing Manager.  You will be the primary point of contact for all enquiries, external and internal to ensure communication channels are clear and effective, while also liaising with external stakeholders (e.g. Prisons), delivery partners, spot purchase providers and other agencies to arrange appointments, referrals, and generally ensure information exchanged is done in a clear, timely and effective manner.

Developing and maintaining an Estates log and diary to ensure the team always have an approved site to meet service users in mandated locations when needed and providing administration for meetings, including bookings, invitations and minute-taking, are also vital duties.

What we are looking for

• Experience of managing a case management system including inputting data and creating reports.
• Experience of working in services providing administrative support in a busy, pressurised environment.
• Experience of working in services which provide support to people who have faced adversity and disadvantage.
• Ability to develop and maintain means by which compliance with policy and procedure can be effectively monitored and reported on including financial expenditure.
• Ability to manage their workload including prioritising tasks and communicating with colleagues where delegation or allocation is required.
• Ability to create and communicate performance reports in a variety of formats.
• Ability to input data onto Customer Relationship Management Systems accurately and within agreed deadlines.

Shannon Trust are delighted to be working with His Majesty’s Prison & Probation Service (HMPPS) to provide peer-led literacy and numeracy programmes across a number of prisons.  We now have the opportunity to provide a service at HMP Hull. Working closely with the prison and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust team members, this is an exciting role leading on the delivery and development of creative and exciting literacy initiatives and an ambitious Reading Strategy at HMP Hull, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.

Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships and personal qualities that include creativity, resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach.

This role will be prison-based. The Role

Group Network & Communities team lead the approach to supporting people affected by stroke to engage with a range of support within communities they identify with and support and empower a vast network of volunteers, a dynamic and inclusive community of over 400 stroke support groups nationwide.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Ensure community-based offers provide the best possible customer experience with a strong focus on accessibility and inclusion, aligned to Solving Inequity in Stroke approach.
• Drive forward a culture of coaching, shared learning, peer support and collaboration as a way of working.
• Work across teams and Directorates to ensure a joined-up approach to community engagement and development, including the delivery of cross-directorate spaces that facilitate shared learning, leading relationships with key internal and external partners and stakeholders.

• Experience of working with volunteers, including the ability to coordinate, organise and deliver volunteer engagement events at scale or digitally
• Ability to take time to understand the context of our communities and groups, being approachable, and supporting thinking - always having people affected by stroke at the centre.

We're seeking a Fundraising Systems Coordinator to coordinate fundraising operations and help transform young lives through music.

Position: Fundraising Systems Coordinator

Location: Gloucester/hybrid (minimum of 2 days in the office per week)

Hours: Full-time or Part Time, 0.8-1.0 FTE (30-37.5hrs week)

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 pro rata

Contract: Permanent

The Role

As Fundraising Systems Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the charity’s fundraising operations. Working closely with the Head of Fundraising, you’ll manage a diverse portfolio of funders, grants, and donations, enabling them to meet fundraising targets and support young people across Gloucestershire.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the implementation and management of a new CRM system to streamline fundraising operations
• Coordinating the submission and reporting of over 80 funding applications annually
• Managing communications and reporting processes for active grants
• Maintaining accurate donor and funder records in line with GDPR
• Leading funder stewardship, ensuring regular tailored communication with funders
• Researching new funding opportunities and presenting findings to senior leadership
• Writing small funding applications using existing resources (with support provided)
• Coordinating a small programme of fundraising cultivation events
• Providing administrative support to the fundraising team, including organising meetings, taking minutes, and staying informed on sector developments

About You

The ideal candidate will have experience of using project management tools/workflows/CRM systems, understand the importance of data in demonstrating impact and be able to manage an ever-evolving range of priorities, deadlines and specific funder requirements.

Essential skills and experience include:

• Strong IT and systems skills, including CRM and project management tools
• Experience in fundraising operations, grant management or similar roles
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
• Based within commuting distance of Gloucester

It would be a bonus if you also have:

• Experience in fundraising stewardship or stakeholder engagement
• Knowledge of Gift Aid and UK giving patterns
• Experience working in the arts, youth, voluntary or community sectors

Proven experience in fundraising and grant writing preferably within a small charity is essential. Knowledge of the funding landscape within the Northwest, as well as a passion for mental health and commitment to their mission, would be ideal.

How are staff supported to work remotely? 

VoiceAbility has a small number of offices. Employees including Team Leaders are homebased for Administration and meetings will be held online as well as in person in the relevant community.
