Job Summary
LIVN Global is a faith-based charity dedicated to bringing hope and transformation to remote communities across the world by providing access to clean water, education, and sustainable development projects.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and and motivated volunteer who is keen to expand their skills and experiences, whilst making a lasting impact. If you enjoy networking, researching opportunities, and building partnerships that make a difference, then this is the ideal role for you.
The volunteer Public Engagement Lead will help identify and develop opportunities that raise the charity’s visibility, strengthen relationships, and open doors to collaborations.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant events, conferences, and networking opportunities .
- Source potential partnership opportunities with businesses, community groups, and other charities.
- Oversee social media management on all channels to promote visibility and engagement.
- Assist with fundraising activities, including planning events and engaging with stakeholders.
- Manage the administrative calendar of key external events, deadlines, and opportunities.
- Support the charity’s presence at events by helping to prepare information, promotional materials, and introductions.
- Contribute to teaching or training programmes aimed at skill development for team members or community groups.Build and maintain a simple database of contacts, partners, and potential opportunities.
- Share insights and recommendations with the leadership team on where the charity should have visibility.
Requirements
- Strong communication and networking skills.
- Ability to build and nurture professional relationships

- Confident and proactive in building connections online, on the phone and in-person
- A strong understanding of all Microsoft office packages

We’ll keep you up to date with upcoming local events where volunteers are needed. You’ll then be able to choose which events you’d like to volunteer at and how many hours you’d like to give. However much time you can give, your contribution will help raise much needed funds to continue the work of Cats Protection.

Role Description
As the helpline volunteer, you will be providing support to those that have experienced sexual violence and provide emotional support and information around our services. You will help empower our callers to make their own decisions and provide them with a space to talk about how they feel .

Skills and Qualifications Required

Training Opportunities
Volunteers will be able to access Solace Women’s Aid’s induction and internal volunteer training programme. Full support will be given to help volunteers understand and carry out any aspect of the role as appropriate. You will also receive an 8 week training with North London Rape Crisis.

As a fundraising volunteer we want to support you to fundraise in whatever way suits you best, whether that’s organising a fundraising event, fundraising online, promoting fundraising activities on social media, completing administration or supporting the development of new fundraising ideas! Whatever your skill set, this could be the role for you!

What we need from you
This is a really flexible role, you can choose what you’d like to get involved with, for example:
- face-to-face fundraising. Organising or helping with fundraising events, running supermarket collections and fundraising stands, monitoring collection tins
- online fundraising. Setting up online appeals and writing impactful cat case studies that maximise donations
- marketing. Spreading the word about our fundraising activities, for example on social media and with the local press
- completing administration. Processing donations, sorting and recording donated goods, completing Gift Aid paperwork
● championing our work. Getting involved with developing new fundraising ideas and increasing community engagement
● photography. Capturing images of cats in care, cats we are helping, events and all things Cats Protection
Time expectation
This is a flexible role that can fit around your other commitments to suit you. You’ll be part of a team raising vital funds while having fun in the process!

About Us
The European Network on Statelessness (ENS) is a civil society alliance of organisations and individuals working to promote the right to a nationality in Europe. Our network brings together over 180 members in more than 40 countries. Since establishing in 2012, we have been dedicated to raising awareness about statelessness and the right to a nationality, supporting legal and policy development, and building civil society’s capacity to act. Our secretariat team of 9 is based in the UK, our Board of Trustees includes individuals based in the UK and across Europe.
We are a fully digital and paperless team, using MS365 and a CRM. We have developed and maintain innovative digital tools like the Statelessness Index (which analyses and compares how European countries are protecting stateless people and taking steps to end statelessness) and the Statelessness Caselaw Database (the first database containing case law related to statelessness in Europe, a vital tool for legal practitioners). Now we're looking forward to harnessing technology like AI and more, to continue to innovate in our work to end statelessness and protect people without a nationality.
