Worldwide Radiology is a registered charity working internationally creating and delivering solutions to enhance access to high quality and appropriate diagnostic imaging tests in low- and middle-income countries.
We’re a small but busy team, mainly based in the UK, working remotely across several countries and time zones. Our work involves close collaboration with hospitals, universities, and global health partners, and we’re looking for a Finance & Operations Administrator who can help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
About the role
Your work will span all areas including bookkeeping, coordinating meetings and travel, supporting volunteers, and offering flexible admin support wherever it’s needed, and ensuring that our projects and governance processes run efficiently.
You’ll also play a part in strengthening internal communication and contributing to a positive, supportive team culture.
You’ll work closely with the Finance Manager, CEO, Programme Manager, and the UK based team, as well as our global network of volunteers and partners, so clear communication and cultural awareness are important.
This is a varied and rewarding role for someone who’s organised, adaptable and comfortable juggling different tasks.
Key responsibilities
Financial administration

Process invoices, receipts and other payments, accurately recording them in Xero.

Perform regular bank reconciliations in Xero and maintain accurate financial records.

Creditor and debtor control.

Keep accurate electronic filing of financial and legal documents.

Track organisational subscriptions, memberships, and renewals (e.g. Zoom, Google Workspace, domain hosting).

Assist with payroll processing, liaising with third-party payroll provider.

Assist with gathering financial data or documents needed for audits, board reporting, or funding applications.

Support the Finance Manager with general bookkeeping and financial reporting requirements.
Meetings and coordination

Schedule and manage remote and hybrid meetings across several time zones, ensuring appropriate technical setup.

Maintain a central policy suite and update document libraries in Google Drive.

Manage and maintain Google Workspace settings, shared drives, and user access.

Volunteer and HR administration

Manage volunteer feedback and complaint forms and help ensure follow-up as needed.

Travel and logistics

Arrange travel for the CEO, programme staff, volunteers, and partners as needed using our third-party travel company.

Coordinate in-country travel and accommodation bookings and payments for team members and visitors.

Maintain records of travel insurance, and relevant permissions for project-related trips.
About you
We’re looking for someone who’s practical, detail-oriented, confident in managing multiple tasks and able to prioritise them effectively. You will be proactive, reliable and adaptable and you will be comfortable using a range of IT tools and working in a remote, global environment.
Essential skills and qualities

Proven bookkeeping experience or qualification, being confident using on-line accounting software.

Excellent IT skills using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint along with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar), Zoom, and similar tools.

Requirements Elicitation and Scope Definition

· Support the implementation phase of priority DDT activities such as our web development project, acting as a point of consultation to resolve issues and validate new solutions (e.g. changes in software or platform compatibility).
· Contribute to system maintenance planning by documenting defects and change requests post-launch.
Communication and Bridge Building
· Serve as the primary communication bridge between the DDT Programme Manager and Digital, internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring project transparency.
· Facilitate project presentations and public introductions of new digital features to stakeholders and internal teams to secure project adoption and report on progress.
What we are looking for:

Principal responsibilities and duties
- Contribute to, and help to evolve, Willow’s communications activity, including emails, website, marketing and social media

The Role
BASIC is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to lead our finance function during a period of sustained growth. The Financial Controller will work across Programme teams ensuring strong financial management and reporting to funding partners, maintain strong financial controls, ensure compliance with charity finance regulations, and provide accurate financial reporting to our Directors and Board of Trustees.
The Financial Controller will oversee the small finance team, including line management of a Finance Assistant and management of an external bookkeeper consultant. This team will be responsible for the majority of financial accounting, processing payroll, and accurate bookkeeping, for which the Financial Controller will be ultimately accountable.
The role includes managing restricted and unrestricted funds in accordance with funder requirements and programme needs, preparing statutory accounts for external audit, and overseeing payroll processing. This role reports directly to the Executive Director to prepare annual budgets and financial strategy, and works closely with the Board's Financial Development Committee to present its implementation.

We focus on farmed animals because of the scale and severity of the issue. More than a billion animals are confined and killed for human consumption every year in the UK. Farmed animals also often suffer in some of the worst ways: pigs typically endure painful mutilations, many chickens die of heart attacks, fish are confined in underwater cages, and some farmed animals are victims of deliberate abuse and neglect. But the problem is solvable! ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a strategic, personable, persuasive, and policy-savvy Food Policy Specialist to spearhead Government relations and stakeholder outreach. This highly impactful role bridges high-level advocacy with on-the-ground influence, and involves advising Government Ministers, politicians, expert bodies, and sector stakeholders to promote policies that support plant-forward dietary shifts aligned with the UK’s sustainability, public health, and animal welfare commitments and priorities.
The Food Policy Specialist will report to the UK Executive Director and oversee our diet change (‘Love Veg’) programme and team members working on diet change campaigns, with the objective of encouraging the public to eat plants, not animals.
ABOUT YOU
You are a thoughtful communicator, tactically agile, and confident in high-level engagement – both in person and through written reports. You are strategic, evidence-driven, and ready to shape policy narratives that positively impact animals with proactivity and integrity.
You actively seek constructive feedback and use it to continuously improve your work. You show ownership and a growth mindset that is focused on improving the world for farmed animals. Knowledge of farmed animal issues and alignment with Animal Equality’s mission is a must, as is professionalism, adaptability, and discretion.
You must have a minimum of four years’ experience in public affairs, Government relations, policy advocacy, or food systems policy. You are expected to have a strong understanding of UK political structures and policy-making dynamics, excellent analytical written and presentation skills, and an ability to simplify complex research into persuasive policy messages. You must be a confident problem-solver, with a solutions-focused attitude and a collaborative spirit.

The role
Warm Wales is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Fundraising Manager to play a key role in supporting our ambitions. You will lead income generation efforts for our forward-thinking charity. You will be responsible for identifying new sources of income and building strong relationships with new supporters. This post is central to generating external income through the development and submission of high-quality grant applications and contract proposals.
Reporting to the CEO, this is an exciting and rewarding role for someone who is looking to work with significant impact in a small organisation.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
General Income Generation
• Co-produce annual philanthropy and fundraising targets and take the lead responsibility to instigate and co-ordinate the activity that will achieve them.
• Develop a sustainable and diverse fundraising portfolio of individual giving, corporate, community, events, legacies and timely appeals
• Develop and manage campaigns activities that jointly raise funds and awareness of the charity
• Generate progress reports for the CEO and Board regularly, proactively identifying progress against expectations.
• Oversee the development of effective donor journey plans to ensure excellent stewardship, engagement and retention of donors
• Build long-lasting relationships with key philanthropists, donors, and funders.
• Work proactively with colleagues to research, identify and scope a portfolio of compelling projects and proposals that will appeal to donors and funders.
• Work with colleagues to identify and source sustainable income streams for fundable elements of core, project, and community engagement activities.
• Work closely with communication colleagues to develop appropriate communications campaigns and activities for different supporter groups.
• Contribute towards the charity’s communications and marketing strategy ensuring fundraising is embedded.
• Develop, maintain, and implement relevant policies and procedures in line with our strategy.
Grants and Foundations
• Build and maintain relationships with key representatives of trusts, foundations and other funding bodies to increase their awareness and understanding of Warm Wales.
• Investigate funding and development opportunities and make recommendations for applications
• Review funder requirements and ensure timely, compliant submissions
• Lead on funding applications and bids, working with the wider team to develop competitive bids
• Help to develop accurate costings and budgets for applications
• Ensure applications meet funder requirements and internal policies
Corporate Partnerships
• Understand the motivations that encourage companies to give, and the importance of strong stewardship
• Focus on identification of and engagement of new corporate partnerships to increase income.
• Develop a strong, live pipeline of prospects, confidently networking and presenting to prospects, and provide strong stewardship to foster long-term and sustainable relationships.
• Write high quality proposals and deliver presentations to corporate partners to secure long-term income from partnerships such as charity of the year and payroll giving
• Ensure all supporter records are accurate, compliant, and up to date on our supporter database, and documenting all corporate engagement activity
Individual Giving
You will oversee our Individual Giving plans as a charity and deliver on plans to develop regular giving, In Memory and legacy supporters.
Person Specification
· Experience of third sector fundraising.
