What will you do?
You will work with a highly motivated staff and volunteer team to deliver a quality outreach advice and support service for individuals with an acquired brain injury in Gloucestershire.

Under the direction of the CEO at Headway Gloucestershire, you will work alongside clients with complex needs to support their recovery, wellbeing, independence and autonomy, working towards agreed goals and recording key outputs and outcomes. This might include:-
1. Providing brain injury recovery information and advice, working with compensation situations and making referrals to clinicians and health providers.
2. Maintaining tenancies by assisting with paperwork, organising payment plans, negotiating with landlords or mortgage providers.
3. Form filling for welfare benefits, housing applications, blue badges and bus passes etc.
4. Supporting people to access resources in their local community including leisure, education, volunteering and employment opportunities.
5. Supporting people to attend appointments and meetings when relevant.
6. Working with other informal and formal support providers.

We provide specialist recovery support and respite through our centre-based Enablement Service and outreach support through our Community Links service.

The Safeguarding Lead is the first point of contact for any safeguarding concerns or allegations and is responsible for ensuring the organisation responds in a trauma-informed manner as well as in line with the standards and expectations set out. The post holder will have had experience of managing organisational risks in relation to safeguarding and be familiar with the guidance set by the National Safeguarding Team for Religious Communities.

Role and Responsibilities
We are looking to recruit an experienced, innovative senior legal manager to manage our international Governance & Accountability Programme. The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer (or international development professional with equivalent experience in rule of law /governance / NGO use of legal strategies), with deep enthusiasm and in-depth knowledge of how our partners could use the law to achieve anti-corruption reform. A more detailed explanation of our organisational and programme strategy is set out in our 2024-2026 Strategy.
Working as part of a small but dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to learn at close hand what it means to work for an international NGO focusing on how the law can be used to fight corruption and achieve environmental and economic justice. You will develop projects with a range of partners, including international agencies, NGOs, CSOs, governments and government bodies. You will collaborate with a range of volunteer lawyers (law firms and barristers chambers) who are leading experts in their field. You will also nurture, build and maintain relationships with our funders. The role will involve outreach to new partners, programme management, drafting fundraising applications and donor reports, tracking impact, as well as evaluating and learning from projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Implement the strategic vision for ILP’s Governance and Accountability (G&A) programme, in conjunction with the Senior Programmes Director, Senior Counsel, Legal Fellows, Executive Director, partners, staff and Board;

Develop an expert understanding of the most effective policy tools and legal interventions to deliver the programme’s objectives, through engagement with volunteer lawyers, ILP partners, staff, Board and others;

Build and maintain ILP’s G&A programme. This includes:
· Liaising with partners to identify legal/policy/campaign needs and offer potential legal and/or policy reform solutions, including through conducting analysis of their activities;
· Creating an active pipeline of G&A projects and cases including environmental crime and corruption, through identifying and engaging in regular outreach with potential new partners;
· Ensuring an even spread of G&A projects across the five strategic programme pillars;
· Identifying, building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new highly experienced volunteer lawyers;
· Mapping and developing relationships with regional and international development entities and other technical assistance providers to identify potential partners, needs and focus countries;
· Representing the programme in external fora and events;

Ensure effective project delivery and evaluation of impact including:
· Managing & coordinating project implementation through the full project cycle;
· Delivering financial management for assignments including accurate budgeting, forecasting, accounting and reporting;
· Supporting the development and maintenance of strong programme management and knowledge management systems and processes, including regular updating of ILP’s databases;

Candidate profile:
We are especially interested in candidates with the following skills and experience:
· A qualified lawyer (or equivalent with significant relevant professional experience) with an excellent understanding of how law is useful to achieving reform in our key strategic work areas: public procurement integrity, environmental crime and corruption, accountability for international corruption asset recovery, countering illicit asset flows and illicit asset recovery, and tackling the UK’s role as an international money laundering hub for enablers;
· Understanding and enthusiasm for the concept and practice of pro bono legal assistance;
· Demonstrable project management skills and experience in an NGO (5+ years);
· Demonstrable experience in donor management, including drafting fundraising applications and budgets, nurturing new and managing existing relationships, meeting donor reporting requirements, drafting donor impact reports and raising funds for future projects and activities;
· Relevant experience and knowledge (either from previous work experience or study) relating to economic justice and/or environmental law and policy in an international development context;
· Ability to work on a wide range of tasks simultaneously, and at speed, including developing and managing relationships with a range of stakeholders (donors, NGOs, civil society organisations and government representatives), on an international basis;
· Demonstrable understanding (either from previous work experience or study) of key issues in sustainable international development, including the UN Sustainable Development Goals;
· Excellent research skills; strong administration and coordination experience in an NGO setting;
· Strong interpersonal and team working skills;
· Comfortable working independently and proactively and as part of a small team with a busy caseload;
· Very high level of fluency in spoken and written English;
· Working knowledge of another language such as Spanish (desirable).

Purpose of post
By instruction and in partnership with the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) the Programme Director will manage and coordinate the operational areas of VFCC based on company policies, goals, and objectives to ensure an efficient working environment and that deadlines are met. About the role:

The RSPCA Woodside Animal Centre is seeking a Head of Income Generation to provide expertise, leadership, vision and guidance to drive forward the strategic direction of their Income Generation programme.
Founded in 1881, RSPCA Leicestershire Branch has been helping animals in need for over one hundred years. From 1975 the charity has been based at Woodside Animal Centre in Leicester and provides vital care to animals in need across Leicestershire, Peterborough and Rutland, alongside educating the public about animal welfare.
This role will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive Income Generation strategy for RSPCA Woodside and is an exciting opportunity for a fundraising leader, with the support of the CEO, to make the role their own in a post with scope and opportunities for career progression. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, researching and pursuing new opportunities for fundraising and revenue generation. As Finance and Administration Assistant, you will be a key member of the Finance function within a growing charity along with providing vital administrative support to the CEO in order to ensure The Saviour Trust can achieve it's mission.
Who we are:
The Saviour Trust was established in Pontefract in 2006 and is born out of a passionate belief that every person should have warmth, shelter and food.At The Saviour Trust we believe that before support can begin, an individual's basic needs must be met - warmth, food and a safe space to sleep, which is why we currenly provide over 350 units of supported accomodation across West Yorkshire. Key Tasks:
- Accurately manage petty cash and balance it to ensure clear record keeping
- Accurately input financial information onto Sage in order to enable clear financial reporting
- Assist in the accurate and timely production of monthly financial accounts
- Assist in the production of a monthly finance report for presentation at monthly board meetings
- Effectively reconcile accounts and bank statements resolving any issues effectively and efficiently
- Assist in the production of accurate annual budgets to be presented and approved by board of Trustees.
- Undertake credit control activities, chasing payments due in order to maintain steady cashflow and income streams to the Organisation
- Make and authorise bank payments as requested by CEO and management team
- Assist in production of monthly wages, ensuring accurate input of data on SAGE and set up staff payments for CEO authorisation
- Assist CEO with diary management, scheduling meetings as required
- Attend meetings as and when required by the CEO including but not limited to Trustee meetings, taking accurate minutes and distributing amongst attendees as appropriate
- Perform general administrative tasks as and when required
- Conduct accurate and detailed internal audits as requested by the CEO
- Work in conjunction with CEO to produce accurate and informative Organisational Reports
- Liaise with external auditors including health and safety and HR and provide accurate information as required
- Discreetly handle confidential and sensitive information
- You will be required to work across the Organisation’s two sites based in Pontefract and Leeds.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties required by the Organisation.
Person Specification:
- Previous experience in a finance role
- Experience of using accountancy software such as SAGE is desirable
