We’re looking for a motivated and detail-driven Trusts & Foundations Fundraising Officer to support a growing and strategic income stream. You’ll work closely with the Trusts & Foundations Fundraising Manager to research prospects, write compelling applications, manage reporting, and build warm, meaningful relationships with funders who want to make a real impact.

In this role, you’ll contribute to raising around £500,000 a year to fund life-saving research and vital support services for patients and families. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across the charity, turning insight, data, and stories into persuasive cases for support that inspire funders to give.

Our Fundraising Assistant will provide key administrative support to the Fundraising Team. Being based primarily at our Shrewsbury office, this person will be a key point of contact for our supporters in the office, and will assist with managing online fundraising platforms, email and phone communications and ensuring fundraising materials are ready and waiting to go out into the community.

This person will also work closely with our Operations Team, ensuring that they have the information they need to process donations accurately, and that our valued supporters are thanked in a timely manner. They will form part of a rota with Operations colleagues to ensure all Reception desks are staffed as required.

They will be friendly, able to communicate well with people across the community, including those living with cancer or who are bereaved. They will also be collaborative, detail-focussed and willing to work with others to solve problems.

We are looking for someone to work 22.5 hours per week; this can be worked in a flexible pattern as agreed, within office hours and across at least three working days. This role can be worked within school hours across five days if required. This role will be based primarily at our office at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital but will need to work at our other sites within Shropshire, Telford and Mid Wales on occasion.

Derbyshire Cricket Foundation (DCF) is the Governing Body for recreational cricket in Derbyshire, delivering services in support of the cricket community across the county.  It is one of 39 County Cricket Boards/Foundations in England & Wales and works in partnership with a number of key stakeholders to develop the recreational game locally in line with the strategy developed by the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB). Thanks for taking the time to explore the role of Trusts Fundraising Manager at the Family Holiday Charity. The role is becoming vacant as our current Trusts Fundraiser is taking early retirement. We’re super happy for her. But it means time for change! So, we're looking for a new colleague to join us and build forward from all the hard work that she’s put in!

This role is a critical one in our fundraising plans - raising around £300k annually, with pipeline potential for more as you unlock partnership working and programme development across the organisation.

You’ll need to be a bit of an all-rounder - researching and keeping pipelines updated, eccure gifts and donations, consider applications, adapt data and information and inspire with your words, reporting on progress and income. Add a dash of strategic thinking as we develop programmes and look for new funding support to achieve that. We currently raise about £200k (with about ¾ of that as secure as any pipeline can be) but have a budget target of £100k to raise from partnership working and programme development with others in the team. There’s a lot of potential in this area!

The trusts environment is, quite frankly, a bit bonkers so we know that this won't appear on paper to be the easiest role in the world. You’re going to need grit and tenacity as well as all the other skills a good trust fundraiser needs. But we’re a great team, going great things and in a fantastic position to build forward from our existing strong position in Trusts.

We’re a small but flexible team - just like our approach to work. This is a hybrid role, and you’ll need to show your face in the office periodically (for things with a purpose, not just for the sake of it!). Key responsibilities

Special Events

• Co-ordinate logistics for CTS fundraising and organisational events including managing event paperwork and processes, such as invitations and RSVPs
• Manage events as directed e.g. lead on the delivery of the annual stadium takeover day, golf day and/or other events as required
• Responsible for administrative support for CTS fundraising events including maintaining attendee and gift records on our Raisers Edge database

Position: Volunteering Development Senior Officer (Learning and Development)
Type: Full-time (35 hours a week), permanent

*you’ll start at our entry point salary of £33,044 per annum, increasing to £35,109 after 6 months service and satisfactory performance and to £37,174 after a further 6 months.

About this job 

Are you passionate about empowering volunteers through learning and development? We’re looking for a Volunteering Development Senior Officer to design, implement, and evaluate effective learning solutions for over 3,000 volunteers and volunteer managers. You’ll play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and improving the impact of volunteering across our organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high-quality volunteer learning and development programmes, including induction and training sessions.
• Review and enhance existing learning resources and create new training packages for emerging volunteer roles.
• Collect and analyse data to inform improvements and embed best practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams and community hubs to ensure consistent delivery of training.
• Provide advice and guidance to staff and volunteers on all aspects of volunteer learning and development.

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Experience working with virtual learning environments or learning management systems.
• A track record of developing and co-producing learning solutions, including eLearning and online events.
• Strong knowledge of volunteering and volunteer management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to interpret data and use insights to drive continuous improvement.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Grants and Fundraiser Officer to help secure vital funding for Chelmsford Cathedral’s mission and outreach.

This role focuses on raising income from UK trusts, foundations, and statutory funders, ensuring sustainable support for our work.

As part of our team, you will:

• Research and identify potential funders and grant opportunities.
• Develop compelling proposals and applications that clearly communicate our needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with donors and stakeholders.

Ranked 3rd startup hub in the UK by the FT, The Royal Academy of Engineering Enterprise Hub supports talented entrepreneurs and decision makers to transform breakthrough engineering innovations into disruptive spinouts, startups and scaleups.

The aim of this role is to increase awareness of and engagement with the Enterprise Directorate’s activities, with a particular focus on the Academy’s regional Hub portfolio, which includes programme and ecosystem engagement.
