Job Title: Demand Planner
Location: Lancing (Hybrid – 3 days in the office)

About the role
Do you have a passion for planning, forecasting, and making data-led decisions that drive performance? Join Scout Shops and World Scout Shops as our Demand Planner and play a central role in ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time, all while supporting a brand with purpose.
As our Demand Planner, Key responsibilities are:
- Managing the WSSI and delivering accurate forecasting and reporting
- Building and maintaining seasonal and promotional plans in line with business strategy
- Partnering with Buying to build commercially sound, well-phased product ranges
- Monitoring trade performance and recommending in-season actions
- Supporting Ecommerce to optimise online assortment and customer experience
- Collaborating on the promotional calendar to drive key trading moments
What we are looking for in our Demand Planner:
We’re looking for a commercially focused, analytically minded team player who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.
- Experience in a retail planning role (Demand Planner, Assistant Merchandiser, or similar)
- Proven ability to build and manage a WSSI
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, INDEX, etc.)
- Confidence in interpreting data and translating it into clear actions
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, and communication skills

About the role
We’re looking for a detail-focused and proactive Supply Chain Assistant to support our Supply Chain & Planning team with stock management, reporting, and supplier coordination. This role is essential in helping us meet customer demand and deliver great service to our Scout community.
As our Supply Chain Assistant, Key responsibilities are:
- Creating purchase orders and managing stock intake to meet delivery timelines
- Producing and analysing weekly sales and stock reports to inform trading decisions
- Communicating with suppliers, freight partners, and internal teams to manage supply flow
- Maintaining accurate product and order data within our systems
- Supporting new product launches and ensuring alignment with the trading calendar
- Taking ownership of select product categories to help achieve commercial targets
What we are looking for in our Supply Chain Assistant:
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with proficiency in Excel
- Great time management and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- High attention to detail and a methodical, organised approach
- Clear communication skills across internal and external stakeholders

LTSB has ambitious plans to grow our income over the next few years. You will be joining our fantastic Fundraising team, which currently has three members of staff who work with trusts, foundations, institutions, companies and individuals to ensure the charity has the funds and key relationships necessary to achieve our aims.
This brand new role will support with developing and growing the number of trusts, foundations and institutions we are working with.
Income from trusts, foundations and statutory sources is an important income stream at LTSB, and you will work closely with the Fundraising Manager to develop and execute a strategy in order to grow and retain some of our existing funders, as well as bring new ones on board through effective research and prospecting.
This role would suit someone who has some experience of trust fundraising but is looking for the next step, therefore you must have experience of grant writing (five figure bids). You will have competent writing skills and experience of building and maintaining strong relationships and searching for new ones, whether online or in person. You will be enthusiastic, driven and creative with a can-do attitude. This role will have periods of high intensity. Being able to manage the highs and lows of trust and foundations fundraising is key.
As we all work remotely, you will also need to be a self-starter and be able to work independently. We would expect a thorough understanding and commitment to LTSB’s vision, mission, and work.
