About the Role

The focus of this permanent role is to manage the development and growth of the Strategic Programmes, in line with the organisations new strategy and core mission to end youth homelessness. As a charitable trust the core purpose includes distributing grants to create sustainable routes out of homelessness and into sustainable independent living for young people.

The Strategic Programmes’ team are responsible for brokering services for charity partners that broaden the offer above and beyond the core grants in three different areas:

• Pro Bono
• Employability
• Property Donation

The focus for all three programmes is now on their growth and the maximisation of their social impact. This follows a period of development and refresh for Pro Bono, and the successful piloting of the newer Employability and Property Donation programmes. All three programmes have proven to be successful, sustainable and scalable. This role is primarily concerned with maintaining the management of the programmes whilst working alongside the Head of Strategic Programmes to enhance them and expand their reach.

The charity relies heavily on the voluntary support of its corporate partners from the real estate industry and this role will work closely with these partners to maximise their contribution to the mission to end youth homelessness. The role will also require you to work closely with charity partners to ensure that the programmes deliver against their needs for maximum impact

Your principal responsibilities will be project management, relationship management, impact & evaluation and communications.

About You

We are looking for someone with a demonstrable interest in CSR, and how businesses can be supported to achieve social impact.

You will also have:

• Experience of designing or delivering CSR or volunteering programmes in support of vulnerable or disadvantaged groups of people
• Experience of developing and managing relationships with senior stakeholders
• Experience of monitoring, analysing and providing robust evaluation and reporting of projects and programmes of work
• Demonstrable project management and development skills with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively

As the London Sexual Health Services Manager, you will lead METRO’s London-based Sexual & Reproductive Health services, overseeing a range of programmes including sexual health, outreach, and youth engagement. 

This role will manage and oversee the daily operations of the Sexual Health Office (SHO), including staffing, results management, and phone helpline services. The successful applicant will lead and develop a team of staff, providing supervision, training, and performance management.

This role is also responsible for overseeing the implementation and evaluation of sexual health programmes, including the National Chlamydia Screening Programme (NCSP) and C-card (condom) schemes. The post-holder will work closely with other colleagues in our communications team to facilitate this.

This role is responsible for supporting engagement and reach targets across the National Chlamydia Screening Programme (NCSP) and C-Card scheme, delivered across multiple London boroughs. To achieve this, the London Sexual Health Services Manager will manage a small team of lead and frontline staff. The role will include regular liaison with professional stakeholders, including commissioners, and may involve occasional direct delivery of outreach activities.

In addition, this role will lead the Young Greenwich (YG) sexual health team within the Royal Borough of Greenwich (RBG), overseeing a range of activities including outreach, youth hub engagement, one-to-one support, and training. The successful applicant will also have oversight of the Sexual Health Office (SHO) and the South West London (SWL) programme. About The Role: 

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you will share collective responsibility for managing Wandsworth Carers’ Centre (WCC) services and delivering its strategic goals. 

You will be directly responsible for the management of frontline support staff (currently 3 in number) and for the volunteers aligned to those staff members/services. You will provide advocacy, referral and ongoing practical and emotional support to Carers through individual and group work as required, facilitating the monthly Male Carers peer support group and overseeing the volunteer led Male Carers Social group.

You will work collaboratively with other local agencies delivering training and undertaking outreach and in developing and maintaining partnerships and referral pathways that support Carers’ health and wellbeing.

You will share responsibility for improving, developing and growing the services to ensure that they continue to effectively meet changing needs. This will include generating new ideas for services and projects and writing fundraising applications. 

Key Requirements Include: 

• Experience of delivering front line services and managing staff 

• Experience of developing service plans and project development 

• Outstanding organisational and communication skills, excellent IT skills and experience of report writing.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Income and Gift Aid Accountant Assistant to help us make sure every penny counts in our mission to stop MS. You'll play a key role in managing our income processing and supporting Gift Aid claims to help us maximise the value of every donation.

You'll ensure that donations recorded in our CRM system match the funds received, resolving discrepancies and supporting our income processes to run efficiently. Working closely with our Customer Services and Fundraising teams you’ll be at the heart of making sure our financial data is accurate and robust.

You’ll also assist with preparing and checking Gift Aid claims, helping us claim back vital extra funds at no additional cost to our supporters. Your detail driven approach will help us continue to build a strong and transparent foundation for everything we do.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a good understanding of financial accounting principles, strong Excel and IT skills, and a collaborative problem-solving approach. Approved Premises (APs) work with high-risk people released from prison, providing a vital element in public protection arrangements. APs offer a level of contact, support and supervision within the community that is unique within the Criminal Justice System. As a member of the Approved Premises team, you will model pro-social behavior and foster a positive, respectful culture with both clients and colleagues.
