Job Information: This Service Development Manager role has two focus areas: one is the development of our Drugs In Breastmilk Information service ensuring it adapts to the changing preferences and needs of our audience moving forwards (15-hour maternity cover contract). The second is looking at BfN information accessibility more broadly (6 hour fixed term contract).

Give Blood 4 Good is looking for a dynamic and proactive Programme Development Officer - our first ever paid role - to lead and grow our flagship Young Ambassador Programme. About Give Blood 4 Good

We’re a Scottish registered charity dedicated to improving awareness and education around blood donation - especially among young people. By working with schools, universities and community groups, we’re breaking down misconceptions and fear that can be associat4ed with the process, and encouraging people to give blood as soon as they're eligible at 17.

After a successful pilot of our Young Ambassador Programme over the last three years, we’re entering an exciting phase of growth. This role marks a milestone for our charity - and you’ll be at the heart of helping us reach more students and schools across Scotland.

About the role

You’ll lead the expansion of our Young Ambassador Programme — a digital e-learning initiative designed to empower students to become informed, confident blood donation ambassadors.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building and managing relationships with schools

• Supporting and enrolling students

• Updating and improving programme content

• Coordinating with our e-learning platform provider

• Identifying and applying for funding to sustain and scale the programme

• Working closely with our small, friendly team of volunteers

Your role will also include additional tasks that support the day-to-day running of Give Blood 4 Good.

This is a fully remote role, with flexibility around working hours. You’ll be our only staff member, so we’re looking for someone who’s confident working independently and can take initiative while keeping others informed.

Person specification

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement abilities

• Proactive, independent worker with a solution-focused mindset

• Confident communicator, both verbally and in writing

Desirable (but not essential)

• Experience in fundraising, bid writing, or securing income from trusts/foundations

• Knowledge of the youth or education sector

• Previous programme delivery experience in a community or non-profit setting

• Existing contacts within Scottish schools or youth organisations

• Experience integrating fundraising within youth engagement activities

The Cleft Lip and Palate Association (CLAPA) is the national charity for people affected by cleft lip and palate in the United Kingdom. 

We are looking for a Digital Communications Coordinator to cover maternity leave and to support our busy Communications team.

The Digital Communications Coordinator is a key role within CLAPA, responsible for implementing our digital communications strategy to engage and inspire the UK cleft community. This role moves beyond content creation to take ownership of CLAPA’s digital communications across social and email platforms, ensuring online communications are strategic and data-driven. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, this role supports the planning, delivery, and monitoring of campaigns that inform, support, and connect the cleft community in the UK. 

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a good understanding of digital communications and a passion for community engagement. The Coordinator will manage day-to-day digital content, respond to online enquiries, and support internal teams with their communications needs. They will also play an important part in maintaining CLAPA’s brand and voice across all channels, ensuring our communications are accessible, on-brand, and effective.

As our Community and Volunteering Fundraiser based in Wales, you’ll take the lead on growing our community fundraising income within Wales. Through proactive outreach, you will build relationships with supporters, volunteers, and local organisations empowering them to fundraise on our behalf.

You’ll deliver a mix of supporter recruitment, stewardship and event coordination. From championing local partnerships and speaking at community events, to helping individuals turn their ideas into successful fundraisers, you will be the local contact for Family Fund in your region.

Working closely with our fundraising and marketing teams, you’ll adapt and promote campaigns that resonate locally, driving participation and long-term engagement. A natural relationship builder, you’ll also support and grow our network of volunteers to maximise regional impact.

About you  

You’ll be passionate about making a difference, with experience in community fundraising, volunteer coordination, or a similar engagement-focused role. You’ll bring strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire supporters from all walks of life. 

Organised and results-driven, you’ll manage multiple projects effectively, balancing supporter care with meeting fundraising targets. Comfortable working independently and as part of a wider team, you’ll be confident representing Family Fund in your community and beyond.
