Summary of the role:
The Global Programmes Manager provides supervision and management support to Muslim Aid Country Offices and implementing partners ensuring the efficient and effective implementation of high-quality delivery of projects and programmes in line with organizational strategy, in compliance with donor expectations, governmental and international standards.
The role is responsible for technical and management advice and support to ensure Muslim Aid Country Offices and partners are implementing, monitoring and evaluating programme activities in compliance with Muslim Aid’s strategy and budget as well as recognised international standards.
In addition, other key responsibilities include building and expanding strategic partnerships, with donors and other development partners to increase the size, scope and quality of programmes implemented by the Country Offices to reach the poorest, marginalised and underserved populations. Regular travel will be required.
About the Role:
- Implement our strategy by supporting Country Offices and partner organisations in programme development and delivery, and in impact measurement.
- Support Country Offices (including affiliates) to reinforce our mission, vision, values and direction through clear and articulate communications.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Educated to degree level standard in international development or similar related field
- Demonstrated experience in international development management including senior management and distance management.

- Knowledge of SPHERE, CHS and DEC Accountability Framework priorities and other humanitarian/development
- Excellent project management and facilitation skills.

For almost 50 years The Dash Charity has been supporting individuals and families experiencing domestic abuse, empowering women, men and children to recognise the tactics of abuse, break the cycle, and take back control of their lives.
We were one of the first charities in the UK to be awarded Leading Lights status for our Advocacy and Outreach Services by SafeLives, and pioneered healthy relationships workshops in schools over a decade ago.
We run three refuges that offer a sanctuary to women and children escaping violence and abuse, offering specialist children’s support and one to one support for women.
Key responsibilities:
• Identify and assess the risks and support needs of refuge clients using an evidence-based risk identification checklist.
• Manage a caseload of clients ensuring each client receives a quality and consistent service and support individual to their needs and risks.
• Support the empowerment of the client and assist them in recognising the features and dynamics of domestic abuse present in their situation, and help them regain control of their lives.

The English-Speaking Union delivers high-quality oracy education programmes and projects across England and Wales. Role Overview
ESU Competition Leads host our ESU competitions, including the ESU Schools’ Mace Debating Competition, the ESU Public Speaking Competition and the ESU Performing Shakespeare Competition. The ESU Competition Lead is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of events (heats) throughout the competitions, with duties including Zoom hosting and MCing. If required, Competition Leads may sit on the judges’ panel and provide constructive feedback to students and teachers participating. You will also support and provide guidance for our volunteer judges, ensuring they have a positive experience while volunteering with the ESU. Responsibilities
For all competitions you will:
- Support and promote the charitable objectives of the ESU, acting as an ambassador for the organisation
- Assist the ESU Competitions Team in ensuring competition heats run smoothly and act as point of contact for schools and volunteers on the day of heats
- MC or compere Zoom and in-person heats, engaging both students and audience whilst following ESU scripts
- Be the technical host for Zoom ESU competition heats, setting up and hosting Zoom meetings, creating break-out rooms and acting as tech support throughout heats
- Provide accurate heat results in a timely manner to the ESU Competitions Team

The role:
This key role will add substantial grant-making and strategic capacity to the AFF team, which currently consists of 7 people reporting to the Director of A Fairer Future. The role will take on existing relationships in the form of a portfolio of organisations at various points in their funding journey. This person will pick up these relationships and ensure continuity as well as assessing new applications. There will also be work contributing to strategic initiatives, helping to achieve impact in the thematic areas covered by the AFF strategy and roadmaps. Committed to social justice, the candidate will be ambitious to help create change using Esmée's full range of tools and approaches.
Convening collaborations, commissioning research and mobilising networks to create change will all be part of this role in addition to the more day to day management of organisation's funding journey, supporting them from application onwards to achieve the best possible impact. The person:

Job Purpose
As Director of Partnerships, you will:

Key Responsibilities
Philanthropy Leadership
- Leads strategy, planning and operation of the major gift, trusts & foundations and corporate giving channels.
- Develops annual business plans and budgets in collaboration with the Executive Director (ED) and Executive Team.
- Strategically identifies and qualifies potential new donors to grow the prospect pipeline.
- Prepares development communications: solicitation and acknowledgement letters; case statements and proposals; stewardship reports; briefing notes; gift agreements.

Anerley Station Road and Horn Lane are innovative young people semi- independent accommodation services. Anerley Station Road is based in one site in Bromley and Horn Lane is spread across two neighbouring sites in Eailing, both services support a broad range of service users including Looked After Children, Care Leavers, Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children, as well as other young people being referred in for multiple support needs.
The services work closely with statutory services to provide wrap around support for each customer within the service. Support is provided by a large and skilled workforce with specialist roles.
We are recruiting for an experienced counsellor/psychotherapist to join the team who will lead in facilitating therapeutic groups and individual counselling /therapy for customers across the two locations spending 4 hours a week at each service.
The post holder will support the staff team in developing their psychological understanding and raising awareness in the emotional impact of working with young people, whilst leading on creating and maintaining a therapeutically informed programme for the team to deliver Psychological Informed Environment in the service.
The Therapist will work with young people to improve engagement with support services as well as providing in depth sessions with young people with the desired outcome of the young person having a clearer insight into their own emotional wellbeing.
The post holder will have a creative approach to engaging young people including group and individual therapy and will tailor their interactions to each young person (this could involve using any approach which might be easier for the young person to engage with: self-expression, mindfulness, art, creative writing etc.).
Key information and documentation will be kept up to the required standard as expected between a therapist and a client and the post holder will adhere to all relevant legislation that governs these professional relationships.
The post holder will work flexibly across the service and will use technology were appropriate to ensure time is effectively used across the service provision.
What you'll do:
* Adopt and implement a Psychological informed Environment in the service.
* To support the team in carrying out holistic assessments on appropriate support plans, and comprehensive risk assessments in full consultation with service-users, their families/carers, and other agencies.
* To liaise with the multi-disciplinary team working collaboratively to ensure that full information is given (in case of risk) to enable a robust assessment of service-users.
* Lead on staff team debriefs following any serious incidents, develop workshops to assist staff in managing stress and wellbeing in the workplace and advise the manager on supportive interventions for the team as a whole
* Lead on team reflective practise sessions but also other creative activities for the team to aid reflection, insight, and best practise.
* To ensure recovery focused support plans are reviewed, evaluated, and amended in accordance with changing needs, presenting risks and individual preferences to promote recovery with an attitude of 'positive risk taking'.
* To provide recovery focused support to achieve personal goals/aspirations in partnership with service-users, family members and statutory agencies. To work with service-users on a one-to-one basis to achieve positive outcomes within a given service timeframe.
* Provide structured support and guidance to other front-line staff in their area of expertise, building capacity and skills within the team, and contribute to the relevant internal specialist forum.
* Lead on external relationships with Mental Health professionals, including the Recovery team, maintaining excellent relationships with them.
* Develop and maintain links with key agencies and service providers in the local community.
* Demonstrate a commitment to the empowerment of service-users and a strong interest in co production and promoting people's rights.
