We are working with the South West London Integrated Care Board (our local health authority including) local GPs to deliver an exciting new service within East Merton (Pollards Hill and Phipps Bridge Estates).
The Community Health and Wellbeing Worker will speak to households about health and wellbeing, alongside offering support to connect people to services and activities in their local community.
We are looking for the right people who can empower residents to take control of their lives. This will involve working with residents in their homes who may be experiencing a number of issues, so you will need outstanding listening and communication skills, empathy, problem solving and enthusiasm. You will need excellent organisational skills, be adept at seeking out information for relevant community services and have the tenacity to help people achieve sustainable improvements in their wellbeing.
Main duties include:
· Managing a caseload of households.
· Providing monthly home visits and providing a continuous point of contact for all members of the household.
· Working with the residents to assess their needs, create personalised action plans and locate support within the community.
· Supporting residents to prioritise and address practical, health, social and emotional issues in their lives which affect their wellbeing.

The role

Experience
To be successful you will need extensive experience in managing complex and large-scale program implementation, ideally in Sub-Saharan African countries.
You will have a good understanding of how governmental departments work (ideally with direct experience working within government) and have had significant interactions at high policy levels within governments, with proven experience in managing complex and politically sensitive relationships with different stakeholders.
Able to demonstrate methodical program oversight and management, you will need an exemplary work ethic with a drive for achieving concrete results from often complex environments. You will be experienced in the use of program management tools such as dashboard creation, program monitoring and strategic planning and be able to example good financial acumen and excellent research and analytical skills, with ability to synthesise comparative research clearly.
Knowledge wise we are looking for substantial, relevant expertise in one/some of the following: health, nutrition, job creation, urban development or education, ideally in Sub-Saharan Africa. This will include familiarity with evidence, key actors, and proven interventions in a broad range of human development areas.
This role will suit someone who is used to working at the most senior levels and brings excellent people skills and highly developed communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills. Galop, the UK’s LGBT+ anti-abuse charity, is seeking a Survivor Engagement Manager. Galop works directly with thousands of LGBT+ people who have experienced abuse and violence every year. We specialise in supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence, hate crime, and other forms of abuse including honour-based abuse, forced marriage, and so-called conversion therapies. We are a service run by LGBT+ people, for LGBT+ people, and the needs of our community are at the centre of what we do. We are person-centred, empowerment-based, and trauma- informed – meaning our focus is always on helping our clients decide what is best for them, and then supporting them through their journey.
We are looking to recruit a Survivor Engagement Manager. This new role will lead the development of Galop’s approach to survivor engagement, ensuring that LGBT+ survivors are at the centre of all of our work. This role combines the need for a strategic outlook, alongside practical frontline skills in working with those who have experienced trauma. You will be experienced in managing complex projects that centre survivors and juggling competing priorities. You will be a team player who is able to work collaboratively across the organisation, including staff, volunteers and trustees, bringing people together to make change. Anti-oppression and a clear understanding power and power dynamics will be at the heart of your practice, designing processes, systems and projects with the most marginalised within our community in mind.
We are looking for someone with experience of trauma-informed practice and who seeks to empower those that they are working with. You will have excellent influencing skills and be able to bring together groups of people to make change for LGBT+ survivors.You will be responsible for:
- Working collaboratively across Galop teams to embed survivor engagement across the organisation
- Development of Expert by Experience group(s), ensuring structures are in place to ensure to diverse LGBT+ survivors can engage with and lead this work
- Co-designing and delivering a programme of activities with and for LGBT+ survivors in line with Galop’s survivor engagement strategy
- Developing and implementing robust monitoring and evaluation processes to ensure that Galop is able to assess the effectiveness of the work and demonstrate the difference it is making.
- Working with Galop’s policy, research and comms teams to ensure that Survivor voices are at the centre of our external work
- Working with Galop’s services team to ensure survivors are at the centre of the design, development and delivery of services.
You will work closely with the Director of Development to:
- Develop and implement Galop’s Survivor Engagement Strategy, ensuring that survivor voice is at the centre of Galop’s work
- Build effective external relationships, including with funders, commissioners and partner organisations.

As part of the charity’s ambitious strategic development plans, they are recruiting a Fundraising Relationships and Business Development Manager. In this role, you will drive the development and growth of their corporate and high-value donor relationships. You will grow the acquisition of new high-value donors and corporate partners, while developing our relationships with existing funders.

Your key responsibilities include:
High value donor and corporate fundraising programme management
- Manage the development and delivery of the high-value donor and corporate fundraising programme, to maximise relationships, partnerships, and long-term income.
- Develop and drive the delivery of a structured, dynamic, and agile acquisition plan for the high- value donor and corporate programme, to maximise engagement and income.
- Develop existing and new relationships though the right mix of tailored approaches/asks and exemplary stewardship activities (such as feedback reports, face to face meetings, phone calls) to secure new sources of funding, upgrade existing levels of giving, repeat donations and multi-year funding.
- Manage the high-value donor and corporate marketing and stewardship programmes, supervising appeals, approaches, updates, and all related activities to ensure clear, concise and compelling proposals and reporting.

- Manage the development and delivery of their fundraising events.
