You will support with the design and delivery of training to external clients (e.g. social prescribers, housing providers, community workers, advice workers, corporate partners) on financial rights-based information for older people in England, Scotland, and Wales, so that they can support older people to maximise their income and reduce their costs. You will also support with internal training where required.
You will be experienced in designing inclusive and accessible training and resources, and in delivering training virtually and in-person, including to corporates. With comprehensive knowledge of pensionable age welfare benefits, you should have a good understanding of issues affecting older people including social care, health services, housing, and scams. With excellent relationship and partnership building skills as well as great organisation and time management skills, you will have the ability to travel and undertake overnight stays to deliver in-person training and attend meetings.

The training lead for parents and volunteers will lead on the design, development and delivery of a program of training support for parents impacted by Child Sexual Abuse and will support with the delivery of the training for new We Stand volunteers.
Role Description
To plan, develop and deliver parent training and workshops for protective parents and carers whose
children have been sexually abused; to support parents and carers to understand and process the impacts of child sexual abuse and learn strategies for supporting their children after abuse together with those who share similar experiences. To work collaboratively with We Stand colleagues, to provide support that is accessible, appropriate, timely and tailored to suit the needs of individual clients.
To contribute to the recruitment and selection of We Stand volunteers including student therapists on placement and helpline volunteers. To lead on the delivery of induction and training for all new volunteers and ensure that they are adequately prepared and supported to begin their placement with We Stand.
Parent Training:

CDS UK (the Clinic for Dissociative Studies) is a psychotherapy service, established 25 years ago to provide assessment and long-term specialist outpatient treatment to people with dissociative disorders. Its patients have often suffered the most extreme forms of abuse over a long period, and represent one of the most vulnerable and complex client groups. CDS UK is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) and an Independent Provider to the NHS, and is subcontracted by NHS commissioning organisations nationally on a discretionary perpatient basis, where local mental health services are unable to provide appropriate treatment. CDS UK has a small core team of employees, mainly based around London, and a larger group of associate therapists, support workers and supervisors working throughout England and in Scotland. The organisation has seen steady growth in referrals over the past few years.
Job Summary
One of the key elements of the role will be to manage a caseload of referrals from receipt of referral through to submission of funding application and referral outcome. The postholder will be one of two people within CDS UK’s core team with responsibility for this.
There will also be an allocations management function, involving matching new (and/or existing) patients with suitable clinical staff, usually from within CDS UK’s group of associates, but sometimes via the recruitment of new practitioners.
The role will include a range of other tasks key to the successful functioning and development of CDS UK. Amongst these are maintaining a log of, and costing where appropriate, allpotential service developments (from requests for training to submissions to funders), developing reporting from basic information systems, checking and sending of patient progress reports and monitoring of patient funding. They also include developing our outgoing communications – such as via our website – and helping to explore opportunities for developing our charitable arm.
As part of our small Business and Administrative Team, the role will encompass some ad hoc administrative tasks, and may require delegation of some tasks and/or some line management duties as required.
The post-holder will work on their own initiative and independently deal with issues of workload and problem-solving, becoming a specialist in their areas of work within an agreed period, supported with appropriate training if required. - Work on a weekly rota including early, mid and late shifts (some evening and weekend work may be required).
For this role staff can claim an additional 20% pay premium for hours worked between 8pm and 8am Monday to Friday, and all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday.
About you
To be successful in this role you will:
- Experience managing complex and difficult situations in relations to people, have good interpersonal and listening skills, patience and resilience and the ability to adapt to new situations
- Great communication skills, with the ability to network and build effective relationships with a variety people.
- Understanding of the issues involved in providing support to people with complex support needs including mental and physical health needs, substance dependency and who may be on low (or no) income.

Aside from the 50+ young people we see every day at our day centre, New Horizon’s Outreach service also works with young people on the streets and in the community. The team works pan London to deliver a unique, youth-specific outreach service to young people currently or at risk of rough sleeping. We use our extensive housing expertise to place those young people into accommodation that is appropriate and safe whilst encouraging them to access the day centre to benefit from the wide range of services we offer. The Outreach Worker will work as part of Rough Sleeping Team to deliver at least two street outreach shifts per week and transitional casework to young people facing rough sleeping. You will need to be willing to work early mornings and late evenings, to travel across London to identify young people who need our support, and to work flexibly to respond to evolving needs. As Project Manager, you will oversee the development and implementation of care plans designed to provide meaningful choice and a range of activities and support to meet individual needs. You will also contribute to the development of the team and be responsible for encouraging a culture based on respect and dignity for those in need of care and support, providing supervision and clear management to a team of support workers.
The ideal candidate will have experience of leading and coaching a team supporting people with learning disabilities or another vulnerable client group. Experience of supporting people with high and complex support needs would be an advantage. As the Direct Marketing Officer (F2F Campaigns), you will work closely with the Direct Marketing Manager, providing support with the development, management of the Lottery and Regular Giving programs through Face to Face (F2F) fundraising. You will;
- Work with and be a contact for F2F and Direct Dialogue agencies and campaign activity across Private Site, Door to Door and Telemarketing. Cultivating strong relationships with all agencies, ensuring they operate to the highest standards, meeting their contractual obligations.
- Assist on the development of strategic and operational plans for multiple Direct Dialogue fundraising campaigns.

- Working with or managing external agencies and internal stakeholders to deliver successful campaigns or projects.
- Presenting to others, and/or creating and delivering training programmes to inspire and motivate others to achieve targets and deliver objectives.
- Monitoring, planning projects and/or campaigns to agreed deadlines.
- Managing data with an excellent command of MS Excel.
- An understanding of fundraising compliance, data protection and best practice.
